I needed the perfect pattern on a sports jacket to match a dress my wife had picked out for our son's wedding. Finding something shopping retail stores was a nightmare Studiosuits came through inside two weeks leaving plenty of time for minor alterations locally. Great, great service. Even better price!
I needed a highly custom yellow tuxedo for some marketing videos for my business. It was impossible to find and I was giving up home. I almost turned to a custom suit maker in town for a $2000 option which was outrageous. Studiosuits cost me 1/10 of that and NAILED it. Communication was excellent as was the workmanship. So happy to know that they exist. I will be doing more business with them in the future.
Shopping so far is good, but anxious this is a scam? Won't know for a few weeks I guess?
Update: It took over a month, which was anxiety inducing. However, I'm hoping my stresses weren't in vain, and you can relax knowing that your purchase will take a while, but it is a purchase.
A standard, irrelevant, non-specific response.
I was looking for another corduroy suit and the idea of a made to measure one seemed reasonable.

The suit almost did not arrive in time for the wedding. Order was placed in August and did not receive until October. The material is nice quality but the measurements are so strange. It can be worn but looks so off. I measured a bespoke suit I already own for the measurements so not sure how it was made so poorly.
Was provided assurance it would arrive in time but no specifics. Just a yeah yeah it’s fine type of response.

14 suits purchased for a wedding party. Several had issues where the suit was off compared to measurements given. See picture for how uneven the hem on the pants are. For my sons suit, they asked us the take pictures of the suit showing a ruler 4 different times rejecting the pictures for one reason or another. My wife is a seamstress and followed their instructions. Finally, we ran out of time. They refused or stalled on correcting their mistake on every suit. DO NOT ORDER HERE

My pants got left off my original order. I wasn't happy b/c I didn't get an invoice so I couldn't see that the pants had gotten left off. This way I could have brought it to their attention immediately. After "several" emails, it got fixed but, I didn't get an adjustments for the error. Think they should have offered something for the screw up.
They should have offered some sorta compromises for getting my order screwed up and me having to go through the multiple emails to figure out what happened.
Great quality!

I was measured by the folks at men's warehouse since I've never had an issue with them. All of the measurements for studio suits.com were filled. When my suit arrived, the coat fits enough to get through the one event, but the pants did not. I took them to a local tailor with a solid reputation. He read the tag and inspected the garments. They are not bespoke tailoring in any way according to the tailor. They will try to let the pants out, but there is very little material left to make them larger. I'm not happy at all.
Groom chose these guys to try and save money. Everyone has had some issue with the suits.
Convenient to order but not worth it when the product is different than what is pictured. No exchange policy is ridiculous for an online retailer.
Picture has what I needed. Online ordering
The pictured product was what I needed
The jacket arrived unwearable. There was visible external stitching on the sleeves and the shoulders were so poorly constructed that they puffed and drooped. SS customer support said this as a result of the suits being handmade and they gave me a $50 credit to have the problems fixed locally. But my Taylor said fixing the shoulders would cost $135 so I had to throw the jacket away. The pants are nice
To fix they offered was nowhere near what would be required
I purchased a custom-sized linen jacket. I completed 'body' measurements and added a little extra room to be safe.
On arrival, the suit was still too small! - very tight in upper and lower arms, narrow across shoulders and back, tight across stomach. I had not put on any weight between sizing and receiving the jacket.
I contacted StudioSuits to explain my issue and asked for a solution. I explained that my wedding was within 2 months and this needed expediting.
StudioSuits were not helpful - they advised me that they had given extra length in their construction (in addition to may extra sizing already...). They requested pictures of me in the jacket - I sent these showing it was too small. They then requested specific pictures showing the sizing with a tape measure.
This was all taking too long with poor customer service.
I went to a local tailor to search for a solution. Their professional opinion on the suit:
- good quality
- not made well - attachment of arms too low, inner sleeves attached to outer sleeves are constrictive, minimal and uneven additional fabric within lining.
My summary:
- Negative
- Suit made poorly and too small (despite originally providing sizes larger than my measurements)
- Minimal excess fabric to allow alterations
- Poor customer service
- Positive
- Good quality fabric
- Arrived in a timely manner
I will not be returning to StudioSuits for repeat purchase.

Suit looks good. The waist is way too big. I will need to take it to get hemmed……at another cost to me.
I measured myself and did custom fits. Suit came in small. I was worried about it fitting small when i was measuring myself, so i added a little bit more to my measurements just in case. My pants came in fitting super tight around my thighs. I did order tapered pants, but these came more like skinny jeans. My jacket looks short on me, and i measured following the directions, and the jacket is also pretty tight around my arm pits. I read the return policy and unfortunately it's going to be a bigger pain to deal with it so I'll just end up ordering another suit and hoping that this one fits.
My wedding party made us
That was my wedding parties decision
Measurements were as requested, I like the style quite unique as it is quite stylish lovely leather buttons and the Irish brown tweed pattern is beautiful the biggest downside is the fabric is too thin for an overcoat, coat should be much heavier overall I would give 7.5 out of 10.
I need a stylish overcoat
It's tough to make a jacket half a world away. I measured my best fitting coat very carefully but the jacket you made for me is too small, sleeves too short.
Don't know how I could have measured more accurately. I'll take the jacket to a local tailor see if he can make some adjustments.
Material and workmanship are fine-just not a good fit.
Seemed like a good value
Always wanted a Harris Tweed coat
You get what you pay for, but this jacket was at least $100 more than it was worth. Smell and quality is very bad, I could have done better at mens wearhouse for $200. Good luck!
No way to reach anyone very very frustrating. I don't think I would do this again because their is no customer service! Emails are generated and never responded to
No one to talk to no response to emails accept one. Terrible !
Color of a suit
Suits look better online than in person. Peaky Blinders suit tweed super thin … not worth it IMO.
Suit online looked great
The suit is fine but the sizing was incorrect. You're getting what you're paying for, but note that they do not allow for returns. I had to have the suit tailored even though the suit was incorrectly made regarding the waist size and the rise (length of fabric between crotch and waist).
I own several other suits in the exact same size from other manufacturers (Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein, etc.) and this suit definitely was made much smaller.
I strongly advise paying a little more and going with a competitor like Indochino. Or at the very least, beware of their no return policy and the potential to get screwed over. If you're unsure, go read about this company on Reddit or elsewhere online.

Material was not great. Design was just ok. Online item looked better.
Look online.
Purchased my wedding suit after receiving a fabric sample and 4 weeks later I get an update that my suit will be arriving in a week. Upon receiving it, the pants needed some adjustments which could easily be done by a tailor. But, even though I followed the website's sizing methods, the jacket didn't allow for me to move my arms unless I did a weird arch pulling my shoulders back. The rest of the jacket didn't quite sit right either. After sending in photos as proof and requesting how to get it fixed, they replied after a week and only to request more photos.
By this time I could no longer wait the 3 weeks shipping as my wedding was 2 weeks away. I had buy another suit and pay a local tailor for a rushed fitting just to get my wedding suit in time.
Long story short, go to Kohls and get a cheap suit which is about 1 size too large and go to a tailor instead of buying from Studio Suits.
I reached out with plenty of time to resolve the issue, I was even expecting just a tailor adjustment reimbursement but instead of working with me to get it resolved... I had to send even more pictures and I knew with a weeks worth of time between conversations that I wasn't going to get my suit fixed in time.
I thought I could get custom suit for an affordable price.
The color matched my wedding party's colors, which didn't work out because my suit was made wrong.
Suit jacket - too long; buttons placed badly; general fit is not good.
Suit pants - far too tight even for a "slim fit" look.
Very disappointed with the product.

I ordered a double breasted overcoat from Studio Suits. In a separate email, I specifically asked that the peak lapels looked exactly like the ones shown in the photos on the website. In a reply I was assured that my request would be forwarded to the "designers". When I received the overcoat I was disappointed to find that my request was not honored. Either I was lied to by customer service and they never forwarded my request, or the "designers" in Mumbai, India just didn't give a s**t and wanted to save material. The lapels on the overcoat do not look like they are pictured on the website. Cheap company, uncaring customer service and horrible "designer" employees. Stay away from these people.

To the Owner of Studio Suits.
You pride yourself on making quality handcrafted suits at a great price. However, I am sharing my disappointment with your claims because you value feedback.
I ordered four suits. One was sent before the others to confirm sizing. I approved, and the others went into production.
All four suit jackets have a length discrepancy from the back to the front of one and three-quarter inches to 2 inches. Because of the trim material left in the hem, there will always be a significant discrepancy, even with alterations.
All three remaining slacks needed to be altered from the hip through the knee as they were all balloon baggy.
The black suit jacket is a size two big and needed to be altered.
The blue suit is two sizes larger everywhere and should be remade. This suit appears to be for a much larger customer than me. Even with alterations, I don't know if this will ever look right.
In my opinion, one of four suits made to spec is not quality. And when spending $3000+, I do not consider that a value.
I have had to spend an additional $365 on severe alterations. I won't know until next week what the outcome will look like for these three suits.
Sorry, not a satisfied customer of Studio Suits' value or quality.
Let me start by saying the suit I got was very nice. This is more targeted to customer support and how things were handled. This would've been 5 stars if I didn't have to go back and forth with them for 3 weeks because they made a mistake. Long story short, I asked for a specific suit in a specific fabric, pay, then find out they didn't have the fabric. I asked if they had a fabric for the vest. I'm told "yes pay an extra 100 dollars" which, fine I'm used to being up charged based on customization. Then I find out the vest wasn't included in the order and instead they made the whole suit in a different fabric and color. Mind you, I would've never known if I didn't send an email to customer service asking for clarity. This was 3 days into the process. I'm told that the suit is in full production and I can't fix it so I paid for a suit I don't want or need. Then after arguing with customer service for 2-3 weeks, I'm told "hey we got your fabric and we will let you get what you originally ordered for half off". While the gesture is appreciated, I don't understand how I have to pay again to get the suit I wanted in the first place. It felt as though it would've been easier to just ask for my money back when they said they didn't have the fabric and checked back later instead of trying to get help from customer service. Again, the suit I didn't want came in and it's very nice. I just wish it was what I ordered.

My suit had some major faults. It was way too wide over the shoulders so I had to spend quite a bit of money to make alterations for that. In addition the fabric had a stain and it was not properly pressfolded.
This review is mostly about the shipping, which was an absolute nightmare.
The website is ok and quite easy to navigate. If you have your measurements right, the suit will fit very well.
The clothes are made in, and shipped from, India. For my jacket, the value declared for customs was $45, which I am guessing is the cost of material. Seeing as the jacket cost me $230, I am saying that's a pretty nice profit margin. However, the jacket is nice enough and it is what it is.
The main issue here is that the company uses DHL to ship. You may not know but DHL add their own sneaky charges to customs fees. Canada customs charged $10 but the fees from DHL were over $30. I only know because my wife had to pay these charges on a package from DHL, where there were zero customs fees. It is a clear scam on the part of DHL.
I refused to pay this, as I am the recipient and had no contract with DHL. After around 6 days and dozens of emails, I eventually found out that I can self-clear the package. DHL were absolute scumbags about the whole process – but that is for another review. As far as Studio Suits are concerned, they really dropped the ball on this one.
Their customer service was a nightmare. You write to them and get an auto-generated email back. Then, a day or so later, someone will write with a scripted response that makes no sense and does not address the issue. You write back to that person and get an auto-generated response. A day or so later, someone else writes back with the same scripted nonsense. The cycle continues.
I eventually got someone who answered properly and said they would look into it. Three days passed. I wrote again. Guess what, I got an auto-generated email and a day or so later …
They clearly do not talk to each other or make any notes on your account.
This is why I give them only 2 stars. I am sure that if everything goes well, you would be super happy. However, the mark of a good business is how they react when things do not go according to plan.
And in this, Studio Suits failed.
My order took weeks to arrive after my first order only took a week or less. Now I've selected some colours I wish to purchase for suits, they are not showing on the website.
