The stripe treats us like a slave owner treats slaves, which is very unacceptable, in all the disputed cases that arise, we have suffered huge losses, money has been seized by the bank, and our bicycles have been taken by criminals We got scammed, and stripe is now withholding our money for no reason. I am totally disappointed by stripe, the worst third-party payment platform in this world. FKU
The company has the worst business model ever. After I set up my account I got a notification that everything is set and I can start using my account. Then suddenly I got a notification that something needs to be verified. They won't tell me exactly what is needed. Anyhow I uploaded all my documents again and started doing transactions.
Then suddenly it says they can no longer let me do any transactions, without giving any reasons. The chat and phone number section in the support are disabled and the only way to reach to them was through email that no one responds. I have about $5000 stuck and I don't know what to do!
The company is just scamming people. BEWARE!

Me siento importante totalmente ante estas personas. Hoy decimos poner una queja ante la FCT y BBB, porque hace mas de una semana están verificando mi cuenta. El servicio de soporte fatal, 13 emails hasta el momento y dos llamadas telefónica y cada vez es alguien diferente mas perdido que el anterior. Un solo chico pudo asistirme y explicarme que pasaba. Mi negocio es médico y un negocio pequeño, lo verificaron hace 3 años, nunca hemos tenido una disputa, pero stripe decidió declarar mi negocio de alto riesgo. Hemos colaborado en todo lo que pidieron. Pero el tiempo es largo. El daño a nuestro negocio ya es irreversible. Aunque estamos buscando nuevas opciones de pago evidentemente nos tomara tiempo configurar un sistema de 3 años. Es abusivo lo de stripe. Evitarles sí pueden.
Aclarar a la respuesta de stripe, que no somos una plataforma de videoconsulta, somos un doctor privado, con servicios de medicina general, videoconsulta y demas. Por favor si responden por lo menos tómense el tiempo de verificar a que empresa le responden.
Ademas al ver comentarios anteriores parece que es practica habitual de stripe atacar pequeñas empresas.

They are going to paused your account payout every 2 weeks. They are going to tell you that is due to service agreement & regulations they have to verify your identity. You gonna receive SAME questions, SAME information requests, SAME forms to complete, SAME website links to verify from multiple company representatives over & over & over again within days & weeks. Different people will be asking you to provide the same info & send you the same emails for verification. In 2 weeks you gonna receive email that your account payout is paused again because due to their policy & regulations they need to verify your identity- and here we go… same process for weeks. Ridiculous company… No customer service phone # exists & you will be just writing same emails back & forth explaining that you already provided answers & additional information to 100 questions & emails they sent a year ago, couple months ago, a month ago, 2 weeks ago…. If you do not want to waste your time, do not be pissed off, save your own money on services or products provided to your customers and just process your business payments smoothly- just choose another company on market who will answer your phone calls and will be serious about your business & your hard earn money.
They rob your money, they do not send all the stuff for product. They have taken over 3 months to return a product that is ineffective. This comopany is awful and real difficult to deal with
I wanna start a business 2 half yrs ago in 2020 to hoping to take off but in last 2 yrs I trying build a website, but it was always issues verity my id card two half years later, I never couldn't get into verify my id card so I, took a picture verify is me but they say it's wasn't me that's was lie and my website can't acpect payments I really wasit two years of my life trying to work with this company I'm mad because I really wanna this now I got star over and I saw other reviews on here that they stolen money from someone now I officially done with this company I delete my account and website glad I saw these reviews before cashing more to this stripe debit card throwing away too, stay away from this country they won't help you and you will have problem's website, company everyday
I hate stripe! I hate Steipe! I really hate stripe! It's hard enough to live out here without waiting 19 years to get paid everytime…. I have to sit and watch for a week or more before I can even access the money it's showing!
I fly drones and Dronebase use Sreipe, it's such a pain I don't even want to fly for dronebase anymore…. Today is Saturday June 25th…… the money has been showing in my account for three days but it's not actually in there yet…. And I flew the jobs over a week ago……. It can't take 2 weeks to get paid a measly $100……
Every other payments are instant now a days and with stripe you have to wait weeks…… ridiculous!
There is no customer service by phone. You have to chat with a representative only after signing into your account. They are critically understaffed with chat agents because it takes three minutes in between responses. Sadly, the responses I've seen are generic robotic like with very little relevant information. And if you still want to go with them get ready to sell your soul. The KYC Act requires them audit your website, Facebook, linked in, business plan and contracts. I'm like you want my first born too? Awful. Won't be staying.
Stripe is trash, they charge 3% of every transaction (comparable to PayPal) and talk a big game about "fraud protection" - however when their is a dispute or chargeback, 9 times out of 10 Stripe pulls your money, you lose the case and on top of it all, they charge YOU a $15 dispute fee. OHH but don't worry - they'll sometimes send an "early fraud warning" before the dispute is filed. How early, you ask? How does a week after the order sound? Real early, right? Especially in the age of Amazon Prime where customers want their items DELIVERED in 2 days or less. It does us absolutely no good, the product has already shipped, and in most cases already delivered, by the time we get an "early fraud warning" from Stripe. They hold all the cards - they have all the customer info, IP addresses, etc etc and they approved the transaction - as a small business, how in the world should we be liable? They act like a comparable service to PayPal, but they are FAR WORSE than any service we've ever used. Unless you just like flushing money down the drain, stay FAR AWAY FROM STRIPE.
By now we have contact with more than 120 companies that have been cheated out of money by stripe their contracts are made in a way that they can rob any organization how work with them any time
It is daylight robbery what these people are doing.
They tell you that your account has a chargeback you show them the proof that you delivered and that nothing has been sent back they hold your money even we have proof that the client canceled the chargeback they still hold our funds
This must be investigated this can not be tolerated
Don't open an account with Stripe. They make it simple... until you start processing money, then they will without notice warning or opportunity to avoid this, block your account and payments that should immediately be paid to you.
They will do this for No reason. Then try to get someone to explain this or unblock the account and you run into a bunch of uneducated, robotic idiots who think doing this is a joke and that as a business owners you can just wait for your money. They say 1-2 business days but its more like a week. Now when you need this money to conduct your business it will damage you.

Never ever go for this scam process. They are simple doing scam in name of review profile.
They varified my profile, customer services says i can do my business now, can received all the payment but after received several payments they hold all the fund and saying reviewing my profile.
After several review, asked me so many documents those are provided the nwhat they did, they put a tag of action required and stop my customer support link.
Even after several email they are not replying at all.
They used to say they are protecting all fund, customer can feel safe but after a month and more they holding fund not even refund also.
What is it? Simple scam, nothing else.

I started using Stripe back in Jan 2022 for my writing business. We had completed all the verifications Stripe asked me for, including invoices, ID verification and even facial recognition verification. However, on 29th May I received an email stating Stripe has now decided that my business is too high risk. Why was this not something Stripe informed me prior to me being fully operational. Now this makes me think, maybe it was intentional as now they have even held over $40,000 in reserve. Is Stripe intentionally letting the customer's build their processing before holding a huge chunk of their cashflows? This seems like a usual practice of Stripe looking at the comments section.
Stripe is really unfair own money I try to get contact with them can you contact with anyone I need to update my current credit card information I did all my documents or documents not going through I send my documents several time no respond back and my money just sitting there
Over the weekend, I ordered a product but was required to go through Stripe. Then I got charged over $100.00 for the product that was only $54. I'm sure I'll never see the product. This place is just a scam! Avoid them!
My first time to use stripe. Their customer service agents are uninformed. For every question you ask them, they put you on hold for 2 to 3 mins at a time to get the answer. Spent over three hours trying to figure out why they are not depositing the money my clients had paid me. Three different agents and all had NO CLUE! They have not deposited the money after 14 days. After they promised that money will be deposited after the second call. Terrible company to work with! Don't do it!

Since the company I contract for started using Stripe, no money transfers have gone smoothly.
I was supposed to have a payout of $2250. 00 on 5/20. It is now 5/26. No one seems to be able to tell me when I will receive my payment
Stripe - Avoid them, read the reviews. We had a new start up business and they froze our account with no explanation, they haven't responded to emails and still have over £1000 of ours in the account and are refusing to acknowledge our contact, this has been going on for over 1 year and this can have a massive impact on a new start up business.
