A couple of weeks ago I stopped by the Stop & Shop on Route 7, Main Avenue, Norwalk, CT. The morning started off great. After entering the store, I felt winded. Very quickly I could not catch my breathe or walk more than a couple of steps. I turned around to quickly check out my bottle of olive oil and red wine vinegar. I had to sit down at the self checkout and try to compose myself. Your lovely employee, LAURA, came over to me and offered her help. She stayed with me and quickly checked me out and bagged my purchase. She offered her assistance more than once and wished me home safely.
That afternoon my son took me to the Emergency Room. The doctors found a very large blood clot in one lung and the other lung surrounded by fluid. My doctor told me I was part of a miracle after recovering from a pulmonary artery embolectomy.
I thanked LAURA when I returned to Stop & Shop today. She had noticed I was in trouble and did not hesitate to offer her aid. She shifted into a kind and loving person. I will never forget LAURA. She hugged me today and I feel I have a new friend.
Thank you for hiring a genuine person who shows she can do a great job at her position but also truly cares for others as a kind human being.

Stop and Shop delivery service is terrible. I used to order weekly and every order was missing items. Customer care would refund me for those but what's the point of ordering when I would have to go out grocery shopping for the missing items. It's like ordering shoes online but have to go out shopping for the laces.

Also, Delivery was ALWAYS late. 6 - 8 AM delivery window meant 10 AM. Food would sit in the hallway outside my door for hours.
Last delivery never arrived at all. 6 - 8 AM delivery. Called at 10 AM to ask when it would arrive. Called back at 3:40 PM to ask again and was told that it was delivered to the wrong address. Customer care placed a reorder for the next day. I was billed for both deliveries.
2 weeks and 5 phone calls to Stop and Shop customer 'care' and still have not been refunded for my missing delivery. Each time I call and explain the rep agrees I am due a refund but it never happens. Still have two charges on my credit card and have spent what amounts to hours of my time trying to solve this issue and past order issues. Insulting.

Long Island Stop N Shop stores do not carry Stonyfield plain 0% fat yogurt. They carry other types of Stonyfield yogurt but not the 0% fat. Store manager has not been helpful in this matter
I used to buy mac and cheese at least once a week. Now the store has stopped carrying mac and cheese. If this continues I will find another store to shop in.

On Sept 16,2023 I placed an order for delivery from Stop & Shop/Peapod(on their app on my phone) The total of my purchase was 760.00! I was dumbfounded. I noticed I was not given the sale prices that were advertised on that day. Before I placed my order on 9/16, I called customer service and they told me that the sales would be on my final invoice and I should go ahead and order it. So I did. I also took screenshots of every sale item (there were over 30 that I did not receive credit for) as instructed. When I received my invoice and the delivery, I noticed none of the sales were honored. So I immediately called customer service again. I even built them a spreadsheet that outlines original price, sale price (as advertised) and the difference that they owe me, which was over $400.00! Yes, they made that many errors.They informed me that it had to be escalated to a supervisor. I am currently on hold with the representative, and they are refusing to honor their advertised sales. I have furnished them with dated screenshots of every sale item and its price.
I need to file a complaint and would like help resolving it. Is there anything I can do? Help!
DO NOT USE them! I am filing suit tomorrow.
Sunday, August 13th at 1:22pm, Shane said I was hired. I gave him my moms number and my number and he said "I'll call you" multiple times and never called. I went in today Wednesday, September 6th just to hear that it took them " A MONTH TO CONTACT ME" and tell me that they had me waiting a WHOLE month for the onboarding with my social just to not be hired?!?!? What kind of $#*!ty management is that? Gina and her managing team suck $#*!! Horrible, Horrible communication!
Recently I had the opportunity to go to a family run super market that was a favorite of ours before we moved. The produce was stacked high, fresh, and the cases were beautifully clean. The meat, fish, and cheese departments were spotless, lots of staffing to get the orders done, and every register 12 of them staffed with young professionally and polite and well versed petsonel, along with smiling young baggers who were taught how to bag properly so the eggs and bread make it home without damage. Now… I'm back to shopping at my stop and shop today. Dirty produce cases half empty, wilted ends on parsley, cilantro, and spaces where no one bothered to fill the trays. Fish department looked sad with again empty spots, and fish that looked like you really don't want any. Prices by the way were 20 to 50 percent higher than at the store I shopped two days before, you know, the nicer store! Every week items are raised a $1.00. What's with that? Fuel has been going down, don't use the "trucking costs" excuse! Stop and Shop at least on Cape Cod needs competition! At Thanksgiving the week before the holiday Turkeys we're 1.29 lb. The week of Thanksgiving the same Turkey brand was $.29 cents! That make you feel glad you shopped early, right? Eggs were $ 2.69 for 18, now $ 9.89 At the " family owned" store 18 eggs-$ 4.69! Bacon-$4.99 lb. Butter$ 2.89 check out S&S prices! Then comes check out. Two registers open, a line of people waiting.
Bottom line- It's a rip off experience!

I shop for Hellmann's vegan mayonaise when available stop n shop has this item but stock is not enough The Tofurky menu is always stocked The Upton's naturals are in good stock The plants-based meals are good but recently the lines are a bit long due to the covid19 crisis therefore I am planning a trip sooner hopefully not later I planning for July fourth shopping for potatoes and mayonnaise I hope the shelves are stocked with my food preferences because I am gaining unnecessary weight using food not tailored to my doctors orders I pride myself on eating the healthiest food because I am a retired certified home health aide and senior citizen I must practice social distancing therefore my curfew is to arrive at the store Thursday morning between six thirty and eight. I hope to shop soon.
The customer service at the fall river rodman street store is completely horrible. It was the manager Melissa who decided to talk to me like I was an imbecile after they shorted me $10 from the drawer. I had to wait and be criticized because of something someone else said, either way you look at it they shouldn't be talking to customers the way she was talking to me. Of course all her little work buddies are saying she didn't say anything bad but she told me to shut up and that now she was letting another guy go through the line and get his order done before she even fixed mine. She did that on purpose in spite. Her exact words were okay you want to talk to me like that then I'm gonna take this guy now and you can wait even longer. It all started because I was told to go to customer service to get the money back with my receipt. When she took my receipt I thought she was helping me so I started talking and she told me you need to wait you're turn and be quiet there's someone here. Mind you there's already another woman at the same customer service desk. I guess it takes 2 people that work in customer service to you cashout a soda for a coworker. It's just complete in other disregard for customers. That's how I look at it and when I can talk to someone I'm gonna try to straighten this out.
I had gotten a Italian ice scream box and open it and comes to see it is dirty i don't know what's on the bottom it's disturbing
I baught Schweppes tonic water and it was way cheaper than stop& shop and some people who work there are rude

Answer: I can't answer this, but I can affirm it. Stop and Shop is the worst (by far) online delivery service you can use. They delivered a high-price grocery order to me, with a lot of the groceries clearly left outside in a strong rainstorm--which ruined lots of stuff. The company offered an $18,67 credit to make up for this, far less than the value of what they ruined,. I'm shifting to Whole Foods delivery through Amazon,. Note that they're *cheaper* than Stop and Shop. They don't have the profound inventory problems that Stop and Shop can't seem to figure out, and they don't leave your order sitting outside in the elements. On top of that, they have a much, much greater variety of foods,
