Startlogic

I have a technology background so I've been able to get around and through the website problems I've have with startlogic. Multiple times over the years i've discovered my static web pages to be hacked in and replaced with pointer pages to Chinese and eastern European scam sites, and it's not a matter of password based incursion. The compromises are in the infrastructure outside the website; that's why they're able to get in. Pricing is really about the only reason to host with these guys. If you have the time to monitor your sites with them, it's not too much of a headache. Forget customer support - their tier one support is about a 6th grade level of proficiency.

There were a few hiccups with the webpage builder but over all they were great to work with and took good care of me when I needed to contact customer service. Affordable and nice.
