I decided to start a 2-day trial membership. I checked out the site a little bit and it was ok, and I would have looked into other aspects of it to see if it was really for me until I saw that I was immediately charged twice for the 2-day trial. Then I looked to see if there was a way to manage my account while logged in and there isn't! I hate sites like this! There is no way within the site to easily see my profile, and most importantly, CANCEL. So I logged back out and checked the cancellation information provided on the main site. To cancel, you are directed to a very generic form in which at least three field of information must be completed and submitted to find the member. This external type of form seems very unsafe as the member must provide their username, PASSWORD and full CREDIT CARD NUMBER. Reluctantly I completed the form only to receive the error message: NO ACCOUNT FOUND BASED ON SUBMITTED INFORMATION. So again, another intentional roadblock to make it impossible to cancel. I have now emailed the company two days in a row and have not received a response. Now I am waiting on hold to speak to a customer service representative. I have been waiting for 45 minutes! Every thirty seconds or so, a recorded message states I may press 2 to receive a message, but guess what? That voicemail box is unable to receive messages at this time - so two more roadblocks: no way to leave a voicemail, and now I am sure the goal is to keep me waiting so long I eventually give up and then forget to call again. Meanwhile, I have paid $30 for about 20 minutes worth of content (which is not that great btw). I have literally never in my life signed up for an adult site before and now I am learning why. These sites are predatory and shady - I thought this one was different as it touts itself as ethical and for women, but it is not. It is scammy.
BTW, sitejabber asks its reviewers to submit a confirmation email showing proof of purchase but users of sssh.com do not receive a confirmation email of any kind - no welcome email, nothing.

I just answered Tim's question below, on how to contact Sssh and cancel his membership. Than I noticed that there are a handful of people (4 to be exact) complaining they could not find a way to cancel their membership either.

I hate to state the obvious, but Site Jabber has kindly provided everyone with Sssh's customer service phone number and email. The same phone number and email address that's on their site. Yet there are people here saying there is no way to contact them.

Just saying.

P.S. I personality have never had a problem reaching out to them, and I've been a repeat member for years.

Love, love their movies. The site is very feature and content rich. Well worth the $20.

I did read the other reviews here, prior to joining. Here is my take away. Don't call a site a scam or rip-off because YOU DIDN'T READ.

I saw this site on ABC Nightline and then read a bunch of stuff about it. I was intrigued I wanted to see exactly what "porn for women" or "female friendly porn" was and joined. I really liked the site. They seem to cater to a lot of different tastes and I found the site and content classy.

Bottom line, I felt like I got my money's worth and have actually joined a few times, most recently with my boyfriend.

I paid for the 48 hr trial membership and careful reminded myself to email my cancellation request prior to the deadline - two hours before, because I read a review that you had to be careful to cancel within that time period or would be automatically renewed. However, I received a confirmation that they had cancelled my request but my credit card was billed an additional $19.95 for another month membership. When I called their customer service department to point out the error, I was told that they did not receive my email until two hours AFTER my trial membership expired - even after I told them I had written proof at what time my email was sent out and stamped on their response. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this site - scurrilous practices.

So let me tell you my story about Sssh. Last year I had to cancel my membership for a couple of months as I could not afford it. I emailed them and was talking to someone named "Skye". I explained that I had to cancel until I was back on my feet again, but that I would be back as I was totally crushing on one of their male stars (Ryan Driller). Yes, I actually told her that. Anyway, she canceled the membership and life went on.

About a month later I got an email from Skye. She had seen Ryan and told him I was a fan. Attached was a short video of Ryan saying "Hi" to me and a scanned personalized message he wrote. Skye snail mailed me the note.

As far as I am concerned, they have the best customer service on the planet. Far above what I would have expected from any business. Remember, I was not even a member at the time.

Hats off to both Sssh, Skye and the rest of the staff, for an exceptional site and customer service. They made me feel like I mattered and they have won back a very loyal customer.

My wife and I have joined this site many times. We both enjoy it. Very high quality movies. Great experience.
