WHAT A SURPRISE
June 4, 2018

My sprinkler system is in part controlled by a PVB which allows the water to flow out to the irrigation system to water the grass. Well, after 5 years this valve went and the water spilled out of the valve. I was told that the repair of the valve would run about $225.00, this is not what you want to hear. What I did was to go onto the web and tried to get some information about this item and to see if I could do the repair. I called Sprinkler Warehouse and they could not help for they did not have that part, but they gave me to another staffer and what he did was to send me an email telling me all about this item and the breakdown of the parts I would need if I could find it. Well, because he took the time to do this for me I went further on the web and found Sprinkler Parts Warehouse and they had the part and paid around $50.00 for the kit and it was all plastic but it was exactly the parts I needed. I really thank Sprinkler Warehouse for all the help they afforded me and SAVED ME A LOT OF CASH about $175.00. I owed this company a review because what company tells you everything you need to know to get what you need and get the job done. They were good for me.

Very bad return policy

I wouldn't buy from this place again. With their return policy in which you have to pay to return the product and they charge a 20% restocking fee, you might as well just throw the product away rather than return it. I try to return things I can't use so they won't go to waste. Customer service was polite but this policy will prevent me from ever recommending the shop or using it again.

It took over a month of constant pestering after they had received the defective controller they sold me, but I finally managed to get Sprinkler Warehouse to send my refund. The level of incompetence and bureaucracy at this place is hard to believe.

I received a defective controller (the time would reset randomly) and Sprinkler Warehouse would not replace it. They insisted I return it (they wouldnt answer whether they were going to charge a restocking fee) and after FedEx confirmed delivery over a week ago they have still not issued a refund. I contacted them 3 days after the return was delivered, a Wednesday, and they assured me the refund would be processed by Monday. Its now Tuesday and still no refund. This place is terrible. Im going back to The Drip Store where I never had such problems. It was only due to a misunderstanding I ended up ordering from Sprinkler Warehouse in the first place, and it wont happen again.

I placed an order 12 days ago and it still has not shipped. After a week of placing the order and not receiving a traxkong number, I emailed them but never received a response. Then four days ago I called and after 90 minutes "on hold" was told it was being shipped that day. Am still waiting 12 days later...

I ordered several very nice FX Luminaire lights on 5/24. They accepted my order and charged my credit card for the full amount.

Almost two weeks later they send me an e-mail informing me that the lights are backordered and are expected to arrive in two weeks. I was fine with that.

The NEXT DAY I get another e-mail telling me that these are special order items and that I am now required to sign a document stating that I know this before they will place the order.

Why they would wait two weeks to get back to me on this is beyond me. Extremely poor customer service!

I cancelled my order and will NEVER do business with them again.

I paid the extra $3 for front of the line shipping. Only after I called 2 business days later did I receive a FedEx notice that a shipping label had been created
I contacted them through their Web chat. They sent my contact back to me, saying there was a problem and to resubmit it. This was after I emailed them and was ignored. NO ON SHIPPING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.
There are plenty of other choices in the marketplace.

DO NOT BUY HERE

These Sprinkler Warehouse people are incompetent. My order status kept indicating "Processing" and as I write this review the status is still "Processing". To add insult, they processed my payment to my credit card the day or the day after I submitted my order online. Who does this? Any reputable business does not process your card until the order ships. So after a month of not receiving my order and checking the status of my order, I call their Customer Service. This was also a negative experience. After waiting for forty-five minutes, I am connected to a person. I request that the woman have my money returned. She puts me on hold to check my order. She comes back and says she cannot see why this order was still "Processing". I said it cannot be from lack of funds. This person then promises me that she could Fedex the order and have it to me not the next day, but the second day. I figure I could not get the material from someone else any faster, so I trusted this outfit once again. The woman promised it would ship this afternoon, and I would receive an email confirming the shipment. Well the email never was received. I know they have the correct email address because I have no problem receiving these nerving emails asking how my order was. I find this a better and more appropriate response to that question. It has now been three days since I was promised to have received this order. Please no one else should waste their time with Sprinkler Warehouse, and DO NOT believe their webpage slogan, "Order today, ships 1-2 business days!"

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING FROM THEM!

I purchased an item that did not fit

I paid $51.97 Including shipping.

I received it today and called them today letting them know that the part doesn't fit and that I would like my refund or exchange it.

After going back and forth with her (Amanda) I said I just want a refund and this is what she said.

Refunds will be credited the purchase price, minus a 20% restocking fee and the shipping charges.

I paid $51.97

And I will only get back $35.00 Minus the 7 dollars shipping cost to send it back to them.

*So technically I am receiving $28.00 out of $52.97*

I am Loosing 51% of what I paid!

They are NOT transparent or trustworthy and they do not make it easy to return any items they make you go out of your way!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS THEY DO NOT DIVERSE IT!

Ordered a controller from them but have not received it. Yes, FedEx showed it delivered near door, but it was delivered, we did not receive it. We have surveillance camera on the front of our house and near front door. The cameras capture any motion, no FedEx delivery was made on the afternoon they say it was, and no one delivered a package near our door. Contacted Sprinkler warehouse, they said to wait a day or two, it will show up. After a few days contacted them again, they said they would initiate a trace. After not hearing anything from them for over a week, called them again. They said they have proof it was delivered, we did not received anything and our cameras support this. They have blown us off. Several emails sent during this, not one was ever answered. At this point, they have taken our money but we have not received anything. They do not offer any help. The worst I have every dealt with. I asked to see the proof of delivery they received, I have not received anything. I think they do not have any proof, just SOL from them.
I see other people complain about their customer service, I now have 1st hand experience.
Take your chances, but if you have issues... lots of luck, they will not help.

SprinklerWarehouse advertises they match and beat competitors prices. I provided the links from a competitor Plumbersstock who had lower prices including shipping for the handful of products I was shopping for. The total prices were on average 20% lower from Plumbersstock.

SprinklerWarehouse's CSR was lazy and insincere, linking to the wrong lower-end product from SprinklerWarehouse when doing a price comparison and claiming one of Plumberstocks products wouldn't ship for 2-3 weeks so none of the products could be priced matched. (the other products were ready to ship immediately).
When I pointed out that the other items that were immediately in stock from Plumbersstock were still cheaper than SprinklerWarehouse and that the CSR had picked out the wrong item, I was ignored.

The "Low Price Guarantee" is a deceptive marketing gimmick to which SprinkerWarehouse does not adhere. There is a lack of integrity in SprinklerWarehouse Marketing and Pricing.

This company is terrible if your a DIY person. Zero assistance in answering questions about their products, Zero recommendations on what works with what. So, I took my business to another company that was great and with their help, I installed a successful system that worked perfectly. Then, I needed to automate it, so, I found their pump start relay, it suited my needs at a fair price. I ordered it. The next Monday I got an email that they didn't stock this Item, and that I needed to sign a form saying that I agree that the item is not returnable. Fine, the order said 2 day shipping. I asked if I could still get the relay by Thursday... (It's Monday) they said it would most likely be the following Monday? What about 2 day shipping? Geez. I then called Munro. The company that makes the relay. They said they had them in stock. I said fine, when can I get it... They said when we get the PO it will ship within 3 days? What. They are as bad as sprinkler warehouse! Forget it. Cancelled order and ordered a hunter relay with prime shipping and it will be here tomorrow!

I placed a large order with this company and waited a week and no shipping info, so I call and they say that I have backordered items and they would get me a timeline by end of day. Then 3 days later I call and they tell me that I need to verify the card used and that it would ship that day, so I did. A week later I call back and they say it was never received, so we do it again. Then I call back today and get the same story and I ask to cancel and the lady said- ok no problem- your refund will take 1-3 days- thank you and ended the call. As you can see - Everytime I was the one initiating contact and they had already charged the card over 3 weeks ago so what verification did they need? They play games and do not communicate. If you need a sprinkler I am sure they are great but if you have a large order either give yours lf an extra 2 months or schedule at least half your week to following up on your order. The empathy and customer care to make things right by this company is appauling and their willingness to change the truth is ridiculous.
