I ordered a pair of Henly Henson boots online only to receive a pkg sealed with duct taped and NO BOOTS! After several calls, photos with emails. Emily the back house supervisor told me after their investigation that I'm out of luck. That I should have sent pictures before opening box. How would I know? I did as instructed by CS team. Yes, the box was light. But never did I think that it would be empty. Nor, did I think the customer sevice would be so dismissive. Last time I ever shop there. I'm now out $124 and no boots! A dispute on my cc has been filed.
I received a workout shirt from my son for Christmas. It was wrong size, so I tried to return it. The original tag is on the shirt. They won't allow me to exchange for a different size because I don't have the original receipt. Very poor policy. I'll try to avoid shopping there if at all possible.
I wanted to buy a pair of Reebok shoes which were very comfy and fit me 0erfectly so I asked the sales rep to find them so I could purchase them.He was a few minutes before coming back and stating he has them in the store but couldn't find them and that he was "sorry"...I was at least expecting him to help me find another pair that's similar or give me some ideas but no, he just stood there "oh'ing and "umm'ing" as to what he should do next then he walked away...needless to say I didn't even bother shopping there again for my attire
Absolutely useless staff at Sports check at Mayfair mall in Victoria BC
Leaside store, no sales help in the hockey equipment area. The person at the point of sale does not say hello or smile. Triangle rewards does not work. As requested on the sales receipt I went online to complete a survey. I received a generic looking email saying I had to contact the Triangle rewards department to have my issue resolved. Great, homework. Thank you. The email did no address the service issues.
Sammy was so helpful tonight! I was looking for a new travel coffee mug that had specific specifications and she went over and above to find me exactly what I needed.

Package was delivered timely. However, the packaging was poorly done (box was way too big) resulting in spillage.
I put a $200 order in one of the items with the wrong size so I ordered the item again this time I had to pay for individual shipping they sent me the wrong item again that was twice I go to the store to try to return it they will not refund my shipping. They said it was my mistake. I ordered the wrong size. I said I have six emails here all of them say The size I ordered can you prove to me where I ordered the wrong one she turns the screen around and says here it says small medium I said at the top of the page it says returning. Yes, I am returning a small medium because you sent me the wrong one they make me wait in the store 20 minutes while they go into the back to Phone the warehouse I said no you do not need to phone the warehouse while I am here you refund my money then you phone the warehouse to find out why they would make a mistake, they have no way to return your shipping fee in the store. If you order online and they ship you the wrong item you are supposed to just bite it with for the $9.53. I phoned the head office and they did give me back my money, but can you imagine being in a store being a 60-year-old woman and being told that you made a mistake when you have six emails that say you ordered a certain size and they sent the wrong one it was a bunch of kids. Most of them had English is a second language and they were rude. I will never I don't care what it is never shop here again.
Logan at the Smithers store was exceptional handling our return today. Very professional, and patient.
Ordered first time on line, had gone in-store prior,to find out most inventory and sizes were online, so went into the stupid mistake of ordering, size of sandal / slides wasn't the perfect fit, stepped in store to return to be told," shipping cannot be refunded". In haste when ordering thought they had a normal return policy which was the fine print, shipping will not be returned. Stupid, ridiculous, absolutely theft and modern day thuggery nothing else. Buyers beware, stick to the places you are familiar with to shop, they deserve 0 business. Disgusted. Sizes aren't available in store, fall in the trap, order, return, they keep shipping cost. Seriously? You could think of a better way to scam people.
Well I go to the Oshawa Centre location and some kid hides in the back while he said he was calling the north Oshawa location. He's gone for at least 20 minutes. So I walk to to cash out line and speak to a nice girl that listens to my concerns and finds a manager. Which I totally appreciate. I go back over to the shoe area to look for the employee that avoided me. Nowhere to be found. I noticed the cashier talking to a manager and they approached me. The management was professional and he talked to the ghost employee that suddenly appeared.
So I leave there and go to the other location in Oshawa. I get good service until I get to the cashier. She tells me the shoe I'm buying is not on sale and I'd have to pay full price. Well I'm shocked and pay for it anyway because I need shoes for work ASAP!
My advice is don't shop at Sportschek! Too many kids that don't really care about us.
I'll NEVER shop at any location of Sportschek again.

I noticed other reviews where people are complaining about RUDE/UNPROFESSIONAL behavior by Store Manager. I am pretty sure it would be Albert. But my question is what is SportChek management is doing about customers complaining about RUDE Store Managers.
The worst customer experience at this store. I usually purchase a lot of items online but always check the return policy before buying. In this case I went to this store to return couple items due to sizing issues. I was told the manager has to approve the return even though the items were purchased couple days ago. The store "manager Albert" was the most disrespectful and rude person you can think of. He quoted "protocol " which has never been enforced before and the manner which he was talking was so demeaning. I requested him to make an exception for me as I have difficulty walking and his response was "exceptions are treated as Red flags at that store ". What kind of store does that? I am not sure how this kind of rude unprofessional behavior is shown by a Manager. I hardly go to this store due to some previous experience at the same store but unfortunately this is the closest step to my home. The store manager had no manners, showed zero respect towards a disable person. I would NEVER visit this store and would ask everyone to shop from stores where the managers and staff have courteous behavior and respect towards the customers. The manager's behavior was a classic example of discrimination against Asian customers.
I was there at hillcrest mall, richmond hill, ON location and an employee name Tamara is not helping me even i asked her how many times for help she is there talking to her co employee. And she is fun of chitchatting.
Do not get gift cards from here I ordered some from my rewards points and because I never used them for a year they turned inactive and now I've reached out twice to costumer services and they said there is nothing they can do. The first day they told me that they just needed to be activated and the next time they said there was nothing on the cards WHAT A SCAM now I'm out $225 and no one will anything about it. DO NOT call them they are in no way a help to anything they don't care about their costumers! Even gave them all the all the numbers and pins for the cards. Nothing will help you they are crooks.
Their soccer balls are very bad! I only used this ucl ball 3 times and their was already lots of ripped spots. I really recommend u NOT to buy their soccer balls. VERY BAD SOCCER BALLS DONT BUY!
I received a completely different colour and product from what I ordered online. I was advised when I called they were out of stock of what I ordered so I had to inconveniently return to a store to get a timely refund. Only compensation I was offered for my time and gas money was a 15% off voucher for a future online purchase. Told them to keep it because that won't be happening lol
I bought 4 dumbbels last year January online and put all of them on the window's stage. But now 2 of them melted with my hand/window stage messed up so I called the Customer Service, however they didn't say anything sorry and just push me to the store while the store also push be back to the Customer Service. Finally my call was transfered to the manager in the store but the manager told me that there is nothing he can do except to buy new ones with some discount.
I WOULDN'T BUY SUCH A LOW QUALITY STUFF ANY MORE FOR EVEN ONE PENNY!
I inadvertently made a mistake on my when placing an order on line. I phoned customer service to fix it and was told that there was no way to fix it nor could I cancel the order. I would have rated their customer service as 0 as I'd say it's nonexistent.
