When I asked if they had any mens sweat pants I was only shown(a very small) selection of Nike, Adidas, and Puma. I purchased a pair for 60.00. Later returned looking for Burton t-shirts & again I had asked for direction and she showed me them, that's when I saw MANY other sweat pants that were less expensive. Last week my sister was shopping there and when asked for help she too was only shown the most expensive option. I finde this very deceiving. After many years of shopping there I will no longer be a customer. I will shop online instead.
I ordered a pair of winter boots on the 28 November 2020. Confirmation order stated I would have them 2 December. Didn't arrive. Then stated December 3, 4, 5th. Didn't get them. Package went off the radar on 6 December. Now Canada post indicated they have not received them from shipper. If you have to shop at SportChek then do it in store when you have the merchandise in your hands. Called Customer Service who will "'Look into it"". No results or reply. The package was supposed to have been sent Expedited post. What a joke. Just looking forward to the hassle of getting my money back and listening to their lame excuses like blaming Covid 19 and Canada Post.
If you never want to get your stuff. Order away. They use a terrible delivery service. Never again. Goodbye
I often order from Sport Chek online. While the pricing and selection is generally ok the shipping on orders is extremely poor. Sport Chek insists on using Purolator in my area who will not deliver to me even though they come within 3 kms of my home. I have complained repeatedly to Purolator and Sport Chek but to no avail. Sport Chek tells me they cannot specify or exclude a shipper on my account. This seems odd since they seem to be able to save my address and rewards card number without issue. You would think adding a note like "DO NOT USE PUROLATOR" to the account would be simple - very disappointed in Sport Chek.
Mid-August 2020, I brought a pair running shoes online. It arrived within a week, relatively fast shipping! However, the interiors of both shoes have lots of animal white hairs, and the bottom of the shoes show black marks. They looked like floor model or have been worn by a cat or dog owner. In the middle of CV-19, I'm not to happy with this purchase. And I'm not comfortable to return them neither.
SPORTCHECK IS THE WORST! NEVER EVER GET ANYTHING FROM THEM ONLINE! My fiance ordered an sport shoe and two dumbells online worths about 350CAD, we were waiting g for a month for that and didn't received any email/ notification/call from them, finally we called them, and the lady said it has been delivered! We are in a condo building; nobody contacted us or concierge for it They just left the package at entrance! UNBELIEVABLE! The lady said it is our responsibility to take the package from the entrance, by continues checking the delivery! It sounds like a joke, but sadly its true! She opened the a case for us we insisted to talk to a manager; she was very reluctant to connect us to a manager; hold us for 20 min on the phone, and again came and asked: " I have opened a case fir you, why do you want to talk to a manager?" And we insisted again; agai we were on hold for a few minutes, and then it was interrupted! She even didn't try to call us! So unprofessional! My advice: Never buy anything online from them!
Disgraceful customer service. Ordered a bike for my son on May 25 and received an email with a UPS tracking number on May 28. The tracking information stated "label created". Nothing has happened since then - no updated shipping information and no goods. I cannot call Sportchek because they aren't answering their customer service number. I called UPS and they said that the bike has not left the Sportchek warehouse and I have to take it up with Sportchek. Because Sportchek don't answer any calls I was forced to go into one of their stores to follow up. A very helpful customer service person in their store informed me that there was nothing they could do because on-line orders are managed separately and I that I needed to send an email to a specific email address to cancel the order and obtain a refund. Last Tuesday June 9 I sent an email to Sportchek and as of this morning June 16, despite two subsequent follow up emails I had not received any response. After another email they finally responded and stated that they cannot provide a refund because the package was with the carrier and they tried to throw UPS under the bus by saying UPS were several weeks behind with their deliveries - which is completely untrue. The problem now is that they don't know where the order is and would rather blame the carrier than actually try and fix the problem. So 3 weeks after ordering I am down $500, have no bike and no way of knowing if I'll ever receive it and no means of getting my money back. Disgraceful experience. DO NOT EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM SPORTCHEK.
I have ordered 4 pairs of shoes totaling over $500 over a month ago. The tracking information says the package has reached Canada Post and is ready to go. I have bought the same amount of items at footlocker during the same time and received my goods within 7 business days. I will never shop at this store again. I will also tell all my family and friends not to spend a cent here. In this day and age they have no live agent to assist and no lice chat. Friggin Bush league. They don't deserve my dollars
Is this how you ship peoples purchases? Completely unsatisfactory! My new shoes are scuffed. Not happy at all! I will definitely be spreading the word about this!

I purchased 2 pair of roller blades, matching for me and my daughter for her 8th birthday. May 5th I ordered and UPS their shipping company messed up the delivery and returned to sport check. Called to see if they could fix and and nothing they can do, this is after a week of trying to get through. One month later no product and nothing they can do to help. Replace the order is what I was told to do however what I ordered is now out of stock but my return has not been processed so my order is still sitting there but they can't help. Ruined my daughters birthday, cause covid wasn't enough. I will never shop with this company again. They should be ashamed of their service and their lack of effort to help their customers.
Honestly I thought the ocs was bad with delivery taking 3 weeks to deliver something when the first opened. But 3 weeks to ship a hat is insane
My gf also order a sports bra that took 6 weeks to arrive. An absolute joke I'd you ask me
It's funny how sportcheck is very quick to take your money and there is no problem with that however when you have a return it's like taking blood from a stone to get a refund and covid 19 is interfering with that process. It's all BS. Why don't you people step it up there and do your bloody jobs
They use UPS to deliver in Ottawa, ON. They have no other options. UPS is terrible as well. I tried to get SportsCheck's help but they did not help in any way. My package is in limbo since May 20th and neither UPS or SportsCheck know where is it or when is it going to be delivered.
I ordered a bike, and payed for it. I have been waiting week. After that I received letter about my order cancelled. One more week I waited my money back. No excuses, nothing from sportchek. It is really good business collect money, and use it 2-3 weeks for free, congratulations sportchek. People don't buy anything here especially on sale. Will loose your time and money.
I purchased bike trough sports check website. When I got my bike, I got on it once and the rear shifter medal thing snapped in half instantly, very disappointed, and it's not a cheap bike. I'm trying to contact costumes services online, no answer. I hope I can get my refund or exchange...
I won't recommend anyone making online shopping on SportChek because it will leave you in a helpless and desperate situation. They deliver goods on time neither its customer service provides you any useful information about your order. They take a chance of COVID-19 for delaying their order delivery.

Bought a bike & being waiting for almost a month, their courier UPS finally called me and asked me to pick it up myself at their warehouse (they supposed to deliver to my house)... Received a damaged / twisted front rim...
Ordered a lot of shoes and shirt with the same size for myself and spent a ton of money from sportchek and never had a problem, my latest purchase of adidas shirt and shoes was way too big despite following sportchek size recommendation, after trying to call for over a week customer service sent me a unprintable RMA I am now APALLED to know that exchanges are not allowed and I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE RETURN SHIPPING! SPORTCHEK SHOULD FOLLOW SUIT WITH UNDER ARMOR WHO'S OFFERING 40% DISCOUNT FOR RESPONDERS AND FREE, I REPEAT FREE NO HASSLE RETURN. I will let everybody I know about this!
If there was an option for 0 stars I would click it. I am disgusted with how horrible customer service is. I am trying to ask a simple question but no one will answer the phone. It tells me to write an inquiry so I do so and they say it can't be processed and to pretty much figure it out on my own. Just wondering if there are any employees that even work for sport chek. Sad how much money they are probably losing. Im trying to buy something that is $200 but they aren't getting a dollar from me now. Disgusted.
I bought some items online that were satisfaction guaranteed by SAXX. They were sent to me with security items attached so I couldn't even wear them. I went to the store to return them and they told me that they couldn't accept returns on items that may have been "previously worn" which they weren't with the security tags in place. They gave me another number at SAXX to contact. This should be clearly stated online before clicking the "purchase" button. I also dealt with SAXX directly for other items and found their prices to be better and a no questions asked policy... 100% satisfaction promised and delivered. My suggestion is the store should stand behind the products they sell and they should have taken and returned the items themselves rather than given me the runaround. Also, the delivery from Sportchek took much longer than dealing with SAXX.
I found the in-store service at Sportchek to be great; it's not their fault that the return policy sucks. I will avoid purchasing products as much as possible through Sportchek but I know that I cannot completely avoid them. I highly recommend that people try dealing directly with manufacturers where possible. Thanks!
