I boarded my flight from Delhi to Jbp by spice jet SG3209 today. On reaching the Jbp airport I found one of my gold earring missing. I immediately contacted the ground staff and she took immediate action. I was lucky enough to get my earring back. I would like to thank the entire staff and a special word of appreciation for Vikas Mallick, the security staff who ransacked the place where I was seated and returning my earring. We still have honest people in this world and thanks for restoring this belief. Kudos to the whole staff of spice jet! Hope to see you all soon.

Perfect time

PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.
PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. They are thieves who will be taking your money and wont assist you even. Agent Name- Ashu Sharma- Location Gurgaon-- I asked to speak to a sup as he was not able to assist. He had let me wait for 30 mins but still did not transfer. They are very incompetent and should not be doing buz if this is how they treat their customers.

REFUND DELAY

I had booked a ticket to Kochi from DXB on March 2019 & it has been cancelled due to Corona Virus Pandemic, since 2019 I'm follow up for my REFUND still SPICEJET is replying me its under process.
If anyone can suggest me a solution to get my REFUND from SPICEJET please help me how can I?

Damaged Baggage

If there would have been a 0 rating I would have given that for sure. It is extremely disgraceful of this airlines to help in anyways.
Not once but happened 3ce with us!
My child 14 years old traveled from Mumbai to Dubai alone. His baggage was damaged completely. He had no clue that he has to make a complaint of any sort so he just came out of the airport. Later we saw that the bag was damaged.
We immediately clicked pictures and sent them to their email and Instagram to which they nicely replied that only if there would've been a receipt of complain we could have taken any sort of action. HOW CONVINIENT!
We were not given our baggage in Mumbai last July and the whole staff at Mumbai airport was quiet like a mouse. This is their service? There they couldn't do anything and even if we would have received a receipt IAM 100% SURE NOTHING WOULD HAVE HAPPENED.
We can just write reviews against this pathetic airlines nothing else. When will this airline stop functioning from the face of the earth don't know.

Worst airline service
August 28, 2021

This is the worst airline service i have ever seen. I had booked ticket with spicejet for last year march (28th March). Due to covid reason they canceled the flight. I rescheduled the tickets for the next available date, and again the flight was canceled. After this i didnt travel, and when i asked them for refund, they told the refund will be done only after one year, that is march 2021. Since march 2021 i am communicating with them for the refund. They always say that refund will be done shortly but still after 6 months nothing has happened to far. They never deny regarding the payment, but they will keep on delaying without paying you the money. They are world class cheaters. Giving 1 star because its not possible to give - starr. Definetly will not recomment to anybody.

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with SpiceJet Airlines at Dubai International Airport. The level of service provided was not only pathetic but also a complete disregard for rules and customer dealing behavior. The incident occurred when my flight was delayed by a staggering 12 hours, and despite the established rules, the airline failed to provide the necessary accommodation.

To my utter surprise, while my fellow passengers were offered rooms and taxis, I was denied the same privileges. This discriminatory treatment left me baffled and questioning the integrity of the airline. It is disheartening to see a lack of consistency in providing appropriate services to customers who have paid for them.

Furthermore, the behavior exhibited by the staff was ignorant and unprofessional. Their inability to address the situation adequately only added to my frustration. I expected the airline to adhere to the rules and regulations that govern such situations, but it was apparent that this was not a priority for SpiceJet.

What adds insult to injury is the fact that despite charging a significant amount for the flight, the airline failed to deliver a satisfactory level of service. This blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and the refusal to provide proper accommodation amounts to nothing short of fraud.

In conclusion, my experience with SpiceJet Airlines at Dubai International Airport was marred by their pathetic service, failure to follow rules, lack of customer dealing behavior, and discriminatory treatment. The airline's staff demonstrated ignorance and unprofessionalism, while the delay of 12 hours without proper accommodation showcased their disregard for the comfort and well-being of their customers. I strongly advise potential travelers to exercise caution when considering SpiceJet Airlines, as their actions do not align with the principles of fair and responsible service provision.

I recently booked a ticket from Chennai to Delhi on 6th September 2023. But, sadly I had to encounter the worst experience with Spicejet, where I was denied onboarding on a mere request of writing only 2 words on the excess baggage receipt - "Laptop Bag" after payment of the excess baggage charges for the laptop bag that I was carrying. Such conduct from Spicejet was very unprofessional and dissatisfactory. When a customer pays the ticket price, he owns the right to travel through the flight and taking away this right is illegal in all terms. I can not understand if there is a policy of spicejet to charge amounts for a laptop bag, what made the team cancel my onboarding on the request of adding these 2 words - "Laptop Bag" on the excess baggage charge payment receipt.

To my utmost surprise, when I raised this with Spicejet's escalation points, they are saying that I have only refused to travel and they did not deny onboarding. This is completely false, as any sensible person can vouch for it - if I would have to refuse travel I would not have even paid the excess baggage charges in the first instance. This is a pure betrayal from spicejet. Atleast, they should have the guts to accept what they did.

I then also went to google to check on the reviews of Spicejet where I found that many customers faced the similar issue where they were denied onboarding by Spicejet staff and then Spicejet later took their steps back to say they did not deny the onboarding.

Because of them I was left helpless but to book another flight late in that day. I had to reach Delhi urgently but because of Spicejet staff, this was unduly delayed. They have even refused to refund the ticket price.

Flight no. SG 122... on 17th July from Leh to Delhi

I wish there would have 0 star rating to give because they don't even deserve 1 star.
They changed our flight timings at first due to which we had to change our other events timimgs. Later on airport our baggage was not loaded. We had to wait like 2 to 3 days to have our baggage. They were not even sorry for the same and the airport staff was very rude to help us in that situation. As a part of compensation they promised us 1500 voucher written on the attachment top. But still not received it. Even after several calls and emails they are not replying anything on the voucher status. Not answering the calls either... Dont know why they charge so much money for such a worst service. I will never recommend using spice jet ever to anyone. I had a worst experience ever with the airport staff. And due to no great response from customer service i believe this airlines is not a price worthy. Better use other airlines than spice jet. This is my formal complaint for the delhi (gurgaon) airport staff. All they do is an message of sorry for an inconvenience which is jst a fake message.

The check-in counter representative at Mumbai T2 terminal (Kajal) was unprofessional and was oblivious to the fact that the Spicejet website says a 15kg check-in, a 7-kg carryon and a personal item is included in the ticket fare. After sending my check-in bag over the belt she tells me that I will have to check-in my carry-on item because I had a personal item and forces me to pay an extra baggage fee of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 PER kg of the bag. This Rs. Total was costlier than my initial ticket fare! I could've easily put my personal item in my check-in bag and paid maybe just nominal amount for excess weight for check-in had they not already sent it over the belt. Additionally there were seats available on the flight and buying an extra ticket and comfortably sitting on 2 seats would've given me 2x the baggage allowance (15+7+15+7 kg) for much cheaper. Its ridiculous and a shame how this company has been looting its customers, I'm never going to fly Spicejet again!
PS: I'm not a first time traveler, I've traveled by other domestic airlines with the exact same bags/weight combination several times and never had any issues.

I arrived at the Hyderabad Airport at sharp 10:10 pm and my flight was at 11 pm. I had done the web check-in and was not holding boarding-pass. After the deboarding cab, I rushed to the check-in counter. However, as I reached the check-in counter the counter executive lady politely told me the counter is now closed for the flight.
I was perplexed and confused upon hearing this. So, I requested her to allow me to board as I had an important client meeting and requested to assist me. And, she was helpful to offer me to an upgrade to a better seat with free meals at a nominal charge. At this moment, thinking about my travel I quickly agreed to pay for the upgrade. After that, she instructed a ground staff to escort me through the gates, despite the fact I was nearly fainted to see a long queue. To my surprise, it just happened in a matter of few minutes was boarding the flight. I liked to get a front row seat with a ample space for my legs and tasty meal.
I truly appreciate that Spicejets staff gesture, even though it's her job but then she delivered this perfect manner with a nice and good gesture that literally took my stress off.

I have travelled through SG141 on 26th Apr. I would like to share my experience in Spicejet. Their ground staff is very unprofessional and arrogant. I have observed that hand baggage weight limit policy of 7kg is applied to only certain customers. I have been waiting in the que for boarding and in front of me many customers gone with higher weight and in my turn I had 2 kg extra and I have been instructed to pay 60Dhs per kg for excess weight. I completely honour their terms and conditions but my question is that the policy should be uniform to all customers. I don't understand the logic behind different terms according to the face value of customers. They are favouring some customers according to their wish and relaxed for more than 10kg. When I tried to ask this to their ground staff, they were so arrogant and impatient. They kicked me out from the que and rudely told if you don't want to pay throw your item. I have been travelling in this sector for past 17 years and used many carriers. Never experienced such behavior earlier.
When I entered the flight, again surprising that there is no space to keep my hand baggage in rack. They have collected such a heavy amount and I had to keep that items below my seat compromising leg space. I didn't see any kind of customer service training in their team. When I shared my experience to their customer service team later, they come up with copy paste of standard reply format justifying their terms. Be aware about their standard so that you will not have disappointment.

I have been waiting over 6 weeks to get refunded my money for a booking that did not go through due to an internal system error their end.
I tried to book flight tickets on 09/03 which failed but the money was taken from my account. It stated at the time on the website that in case your booking is not confirmed but your amount is deducted then it will be auto refunded in 7 working days towards your account. I called them the following day to notify them but they told me to wait for the auto refund. I then called again on the 7th working day and was told that i should have called and sent in a complaint by email which I was not told on the first call. Long story short I have still not received my money 6 weeks later. I am getting hung upon after spending hours on the phone and spending a fortune on making international calls to them. I am receiving basic generic emails not answering my questions and not giving me any further timelines just asking me to wait. A joke of an airline that has no value for customer service.

Spicejet is very poor service provider I had booked flight for 7 may but during the covid I couldn't make a day so I called the help care and asked for the cancellation but they said I'll refund only 2400 on my 3 tickets so I thought it'll be better to Reschedule the and they charge 9500 again for the reschedule the tickets for that also I did reschedule my tickets for 6th June but know they r changing flight date 6 to 7 to 8 to 9to 10 to 11 till not confirmed yet so I asked again for cancel the flight ticket so they r ready to cancel but they don't want to refund my reschedule amount which is 9500 my question is way not refund my reschedule amount when we cancel or reschedule they ll charge extra or on refund they cut amount y y y? This is clear they doing fraud our money please be careful with this spicejet flight before booking the tickets totally fraud airline (SPICEJET)

HORREBLE EXPERIENCE!

Think 100 times before going through Spicejet, It is a NIGHTMARE, We traveled from Pune to Dehradhun on 12th September 2022, I booked this flight with extra cost since it was showing less layover time, This flight got CANCELED FOR 2 TIMES AND DELAYED FOR WHOLE NIGHT, 2nd time when it got canceled, Spicejet informed us at the day of fly, We were having layover at Ahmedabad, When we reached there, It was delayed for whole night and me and my old parents have to spent whole sleepless night at the airport on chairs, We made a complaint to the staff they was too RUDE like they have given free tickets, As a result it charged more with compare to other flights by showing FAKE layover timings and delayed for 1 whole night, The aroplane was too OLD and SMALL, Itsl was a SCARY ride, Felt like getting CRASHED at any point of time, I will never travel again with this CHEAP flight in my whole life nor I will refer this POOR flight company to anyone!
