I put in filters to include items that had certain features, and so I thought the items that pulled up would have been filtered to include all those features, so I ordered one of them. But then it turns out the item I purchased is actually missing some of the things I wanted, such as Bluetooth and iPhone playback. Otherwise, good prices and quick shipping. I'll order again if needed, but will have to pay closer attention since product filters don't work as well as I'd like..
All and all i am more than happy with how quick and affordable sonic electronix is but i was not happy how it was packed or handled first the box was way to big with a lot of dead space which made my 50 pound box unstable second all rhe packing paper was on the bottom of the box not protecting any if my goods and third if im spending hundreds of dollars i at least would like my product packed correctly and labeled fragile since they are sending electronics but i will always order from them hands down
Good service the phone wait is a bit long but helpful. Thought i was going to get adapter plate with unit but was only $11 more. Delivery was ontime and help with install was available. Good choice of products.
We were offered a unique promo code by Sonic Electronix, but we entered the code incorrectly during our order. We contacted the company to ask for a credit to honor the promo code. It took the company a week to deny our request...
Edit: we finally heard from a competent customer support agent and our issue was resolved.
I ordered an Atrend sealed subwoofer box... Sonic had the best price by far, the item shipped the same day and was delivered across country 2 days later! The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the carpeting on the rear two bottom corners of the sub box is worn right at the edge -- you can see slivers of wood bc there's no carpeting. BUT, it's on the bottom and no one can see it. AND I attribute to the manufacturer not Sonic. Overall, I'm pleased with the experience and will do business with Sonic again!
Only problem I had was the double din kit I recived was not a direct fit with the stereo I purchased even though it said it was my car was already dismantle and I did not want to go through the process of returning it so I had to shave the sides of the mount in order for the stereo to fit through it so it is not flush with the mount and the stereo antenna was defected so I tried to do my own modifications but still no signal from the antenna now I can't even return it other than that I'm enjoying my stereo
Terrible. I'm not one to write bad reviews. 90% of what I write is positive. I'm making an exception here. They sent the wrong speakers, they sent the wrong wiring harness, they sent the wrong bracket. I'm OK with errors. I'll work with you to fix it and get what I need. These folks are rude, dismissive and once they have your $$$ they could care less about mitigating an issue.
I'll spare you the blow by blow, but they refused to accept the items back for a refund (go talk to E-bay. Not our problem) and pretty much hung up on me.
Buy your speakers somewhere else. Everyone has some issues with sending the wrong equipment. That's fixable. This company will not address a problem or even attempt to be polite about it. I'd give them a zero but it wasn't an option in this forum.
I ordered from this company on Amazon. Shortly after cancelled the order. They shipped it anyway. I contacted Fedex and they said that as long as the shipper informs them they would not deliver. I communicated this to SonicElectronix but they were in no way trying to hear me out. They insisted that I keep the product then ship it back. Mind you this is a heavy item and during Christmas time when shipping is a little chaotic. I was trying to avoid this all together, but they were more concerned with making money and not actual customer service. So for this I only give 1 star as for me customer service is the most important thing. I like to know I am not going to be messed over and that I am dealing with a reliable company.
I ordered a receiver and install kit all "in stock." I will receive the receiver this weekend and the install kit at an undisclosed time in the next two to three weeks. They shipped half of the order before telling me the order would be split (I assume because they make you pay for return shipping and hope I will keep what they sent). It turns out "in stock" meant the install kit was instock at the factory warehouse and would ship out from there, not from the sonicelectronix.com warehouse. I should have just paid the extra few bucks for the reliability of crutchfield.
When you order online you trust the vendor to keep its promises. Problems happen, but reputable firms make things right. Good luck with Sonic Electronics. I called help and was told 20 people were ahead of me. Better to email, which I did. Absolutely no response after a day. I'm stuck with a "specific vehicle" kit that doesn't fit my vehicle. It's not worth the trouble. I'm out $20, In the future I'll look elsewhere. They are NOT the lowest price.

I'm always worried about open box purchases, and have had bad experiences with Amazon, but the open box Kicker speaker enclosures came complete and everything appeared almost newly packaged from the factory. Thank you!
EDIT: They said I'd get a $5 coupon for doing a review, but that never happened. I also just placed another order using a coupon code send that applies to the product I wanted, but it didn't work. Lame.
Absolutely appalling customer service, an amplifier developed a fault within their warranty period and it is completely impossible to contact this company to have them honor their warranty. Phones are not answered, messages not responded to, I wish I knew this before ordering from them.
There are many other fine retailers out there, please use them and let these guys sink, you can't get away with treating your customers like crap these days.
Always had a positive experience with Sonic Electronix. Their pricing is fairly competitive with other major players. Shipping is always fast and support ready available. Website is well thought out and information complete. I have been a customer for many years now without issue. Keep up the great work!
2 months ago, I ordered an amp that was supposed to include an amp installation kit. Paid for next day air but they didn't send order for 3 days even though they had guaranteed it by 7 the next day. They did refund the extra shipping about 15 days after the order delivered but I still have not seen the wiring kit and they have quit responding to emails. TWO MONTHS and I have just written them off at this point. Lesson learned, no more Sonic Electronix.
From the selection of products and the fast shipping. What else is there to say. I recommend purchasing all the accessories they recommend, whether you install yourself or have a shop do it for you. You know that outside of the accessories the only other cost after initial purchase could be new wire. That being said, SonicElectronix makes budgeting really easy.
This company is so quick to take your money but when the goods got lost they find all pathetic accuses not to refund or re-send the item. I have paid for an item end of May 2016 and until today i have not receive it. They are messing me about, giving all sort of excuses. I'm very disappointed with them, such a disgraceful company. DO NOT waste your time and money with them.

Worst customer service ever - don't bother reading the issue in the emails. All they say is it's after 60 days we'll send you a replacement. The website gives the wrong specs for speakers for my car, so they don't fit - I need to return them. Their response is below. Seriously? Answer: Because they don't have it in stock. They are notorious for posting products they aren't authorized dealers for and not keeping an accurate inventory of what they do have leading to them having out of stock items available for sale but they cannot fulfill the order because the company that makes the product doesn't sell to them.
