The scammier ones tell you that they'd like to talk off platform but that they can't send you their number. They can only send you a video with one number at a time. Turns out that to watch that video costs you 50 credits! What a joke, total scam.

Shockingly scammy site that charges per minute! I burned through $23 of credits in 12 minutes. Totally unsustainable. Impossible to use. If you send a letter rather than chat with someone, that's about $4 for one message. Extremely scammy. And there are hardly any women on here.

The woman send fake pictures and videos of other woman.when you call them out on it,they come up with bad excuses or pretend to not understand what your saying. Which, to my great surprise, turned out to be legit. Women don't chat 24/7 there, they easily switch to free messengers after you request their contact details. As a result I had my 1st real meeting there within 2 weeks of joining.
So I want to warn everyone off Sofiadate. I got off cheap, but I know many men are wasting thousands of bucks on these scammers because they fell for this beautiful fake illusion.

This site is the biggest CON I've ever encountered regarding online dating sites. I suspected that they are bots and paid individuals that say whatever is necessary to keep you texting with them. Even if you ask a " woman " to stop texting you they continue with ridiculous statements and questions like " why are you silent "? Or I'm moving to your country next week, can I stay at your house? They play on you emotions to trap your feelings but they never actually say they will meet you at a cafe or public space for a date. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS BS!

If you can't tell within 5 mins this site is a scam you are a complete moron. 1) All the woman are perfect model type / glam picture profile. All perfect, fake boobs, lip injections, Victoria secret model. Not an overweight or half ugly woman on there. Not even an A-. 2) They are always online. Look at your world clock on your phone and see that it is 4am when you are chatting with them. Same woman 5 hours later always on. 5 hours later online pick right up where you left off 24/7 and Quick to respond and take your money. 3) they hook you in a couple different ways. Sympathy, they are widows, or the war, or they are teachers. They want to know all about what you like so they can run with the what hooks you., two they want to talk about philosophy or religion get your opinion. Make you feel important, they sex you up and send you nudes etc… very pricey because you pay to open up each picture or video. 4) any time you question their validity they try to guilt you. 5) if you ever wanted to actually truly correspond outside the site you have to chat with them for 15 days straight with no breaks longer than 72 hours and pay at a minimum $1000. They are good though they can hold a picture with your name on it. Obviously Ai or photoshop. - do a video saying your name. Anyway it is a sophisticated call center full of probably Algerian men smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee. You can trick them like open two accounts and talk to the same "woman", notice how good their English is writing perfect, but the Ai doesn't pick up on the slang and gets thrown off. Kind of entertaining if it wasn't so expensive. But total sham and seriously should be criminal. Going to hit up the better business bureau. I feel sorry for the lonely men that get taken advantage of. This Sofia woman has got to be a billionaire by now.

I've been on this site for a couple months engaging with several women. All of them have incredibly gorgeous pictures and quickly reply to you. Why buy credits when you could exchange phone numbers and call? Because it's a scam.

My dad has dementia and despite asking the site manager repeatedly to cancel his account they have refused.
Before we were able to be granted a power of attorney he has run up £15,000 worth of debt. He's been promised on 20 occasions that this woman will be coming to the UK and 20 times she's never arrived.
