“Great if Employers are Active”

Kathie M.
7/7/19

Make sure that wherever you're applying to is actively looking at applications. I applied to 15 places in one day. The only place that was actively looking at applications called me the next morning, we scheduled an interview for that day, and I was hired on the spot. However, no other places have even given a rejection. Inactive places should be removed from Snag.

This company sends people on job assignments that are abusing there employees by giving them multiple duties that does not coexist with the original job title, for example you sign up as a cashier but end up a cook which should cause for a higher pay beware of these apps,I think they all need to be reported and brought awareness to but to each is on.

I applied for job on here but everytime I click apply here it brings other jobs not the one I'm applying for. This is ridiculous. Wasted my time on several viewed jobs.

I tried to update my profile today and correct errors on it due to Snagajob's inadequacies. When I tried to scroll down below my zip code to enter the correct city, there was no way to do this. All there was there was "save." So, incorrect info is shown. Then I attempted to enter my adjunct teaching position at a community college, and the site refuses to allow me to enter it! Its default is "Technical Education Teacher," when in reality it is English as a Second Language Instructor.

I then tried to click on "Contact Us" to unsubscribe and have all my info removed, there was no way to do so. So here I am on a site with nothing correct about me and no way to get out of the site. So what do they do, use our info against us job seekers by sending scam mail?

Furthermore, it shows medical jobs for me when I have no experience whatsoever in medial professions.

Highly unprofessional site.

I paid for the month to hire for my small business. I chose this one because it seemed to be the cheapest. I have not got anybody that has even looked at my posting. I did a free trial for better team for a few days and I got a whole bunch of people that applied for the job. I feel like this is a scam. I feel like They don't really put your stuff out there and I'm very unhappy. Worst $89.99 I've ever spent!

Tip for consumers:
Don’t use it. I’m was able tO do a free trial somewhere else and in 2 days I got 10 hits.

As a retired veteran with a Master Degree and Black belt train on Airspeed, I was confirm for a interview at Harrus Teeter in Va Beach Blvd as customer service manager only to show up and they did not know nothing about me only when contact snagajob told me that the manager knew and sorry interview did not happen and do not have any other dates. They waste my time, gas on a fake interview. Do not waste your time on snagajob also companies do not waste your money supporting this fake job site.

One of the worst job application sites I have used I would give it 0 stars if I could. Gives no actual jobs for my area the only jobs it does give me are scam positions and its not even for what I'm proficient in. It's like they jus put all the jobs on a site and said figure it out. The lack of social awareness from the developers is very apparent in the fact that this site should make your life easier but has given me nothing but a headache and took valuable time away from me actually finding a job that's legit.

I've literally seen some 10 year old kids code html far better than whatever inbred troglodyte created this inane grotesquery! From the application process without a proper end-review ability and incorrect or missing html links, to the tax forms at the end of the application process where the fields on the final forms are incorrectly marked (before you sign that they are correct UNDER PENALTY OF PERJURY!), this site is an exercise in buffoonery, incompetence, and hair-pulling frustration on the part of the user! My new employer was obviously conned by some slick, sleazy salesperson into using this site for the entire hiring process. The drooling durpaduhrs who created this abomination of a website are good only at making people bleed from the back end! This unholy chancre sore on the internet contaminates time-space by its mere existence!

Tip for consumers:
Tell any potential employer that they are being screwed sideways by these scam artists!!!

I used the site as a prospective employee, and as a new hire of a company that didn't realize they were bleeding down their legs from their reliance on this site!

I applied for a job at Roundtable Pizza. I received a call-back for an interview. When I showed up to the interview, the manager told me he isn't hiring at this location and he never posted on Snagajob. Many of the online postings are fake as it's some troll playing a cruel joke to job seekers. The mods don't check if the listing is legitimate. Applicants beware.

As an employer, you should stay away from this company. They suckered me in with a promotion that was supposed to run for 30 days but canceled the ad after 1 -day. They also will auto-renew your ads and its extremely difficult to cancel. Better options are available.

This company is a joke. First they make sure you give out your credit card number. 2 days later they send you an email asking for information they should have asked when you applied. Then if you don't respond in 24 hrs they cancel the account. Total waste of time. I reported them as spam to my email provider because they are agressive on Unsolicted sales.

I have been trying for days to apply for available jobs... the ones that you have to navigate through snagajob to get are a joke! It freezes up and will not allow you to fully complete the application process. When I have called some of these businesses to report my problem their usual response is something like, wow, I wondered why no one was applying for positions... DUH! If that's the case, maybe you employers should check into it! Snagajob is NO GOOD! In fact, it's a joke! Wake up employers! There are people out here who need your jobs and who want to work!

AFTER NOT MUCH LUCK ON ANOTHER JOBSITE I TRIED SNAGAJOB AND UPLOADED MY PROFILE AND RESUME. THE MOSTLY NEGATIVE REVIEWS TURNED OUT TO BE PRETTY ACCURATE. THE SITE IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO USE FOR APPLYING FOR A JOB, TOO MUCH NAVIGATION, AND ALMOST NEVER ARE YOU ABLE TO QUICK APPLY WITH YOUR RESUME.
THE SITE SEEMS SORT OF SCAMMISH. AT LEAST I DO GET JOBS AND REAL RESPONSES ON THE MOST POPULAR JOBSITE.
I STOPPED RUINING MY LIFE SEARCHING ON SNAGAJOB.

I tried to post job opening for my company. Not so simple. They want you to have and jump through hoops that I've never had to with any other company. They make it a job itself to post a job on their site. Ignorant requests for information that shouldn't be necessary for trying to find help. Waste of time.

I have been using Snag for several months. I don't have a problem with the referral process or their assessment of potential applicants. HOWEVER, it is March 23,2020 in the midst of the covid. 19 pandemic. We closed our business out of social responsiveness. I contacted them today for suspension of my contract. They agreed to give me a percent off my next bill, that they "weren't able" to adjust my contract.

Tip for consumers:
Hello Jo,

Thank you for reaching out to us about your account.

First and foremost, we are happy that your employees are safe and are following quarantine restrictions.

Because your business is important to us, we have issued a 50% credit for one month of service fees ($39.50) which will be used against your next charge in light of the current circumstances.

We are hopeful that this credit will offer some relief. Unfortunately, we are not able to temporarily suspend an annual contract

Watch out. This is potentially a scam site for employers. They asked us for our federal tax id and business name. DO NOT give them your information. Whoever recommends this site might be in on their identify scam.

While I'm bombarded multiple times a day with emails from SnagAJob with job opportunities, majority of the time they are openings that either don't actually exist once I click to be linked to the opening on their website or they're full blown scams. Two examples: first, I get an email at 10am about a variety of open roles with Amazon. When I click to see these openings, they aren't actually there. Furthermore, I check Amazon's actual job board and they haven't been hiring at all. Second example, I kept getting email after email after email for WEEKS with a job opening from the Post Office. When I finally check it out and go through the application, it asks me to pay $40 in "admin fees" to have my application processed. When I look into this matter, turns out this is a fairly common scam website posing as a post office job board. SnagAJob DIRECTLY directed me to this job application.

I could've had my payment method compromised, leading to the potential loss of thousands of dollars in my bank account, all because SnagAJob doesn't vet through scam openings. I've also never heard back from a job when I applied via SnagAJob, but have heard back from the same jobs when I've applied on the actual company's job board. Snag is a waste of time and honestly dangerous if you're not internet savvy. Don't waste your time.

Tip for consumers:
My biggest tip: don't use it at all. You're better off on even Facebook Jobs than this questionable, useless website.

We contracted with PeopleMatter to handle onboarding of employees. The site promised a ton of features- but after several months, we reduced the service with them to just onboarding- many of the other features they said they were "working on" or great- just never cam to fruition or ever worked in the first place. We contacted them in March requesting a hold on our account so we could work through Covid- we have several restaurants. PeopleMatter offered a 1/2 month off. Thats it. We asked to suspend our account- they refused. We asked to terminate- but they said we were before our renewal date- but within 60 days- so they charged us for the entire year. We called, emailed many many times- when a person got back us- they said" what can I help you with"? They care clueless. We ended up terminating our account and will never go back. During this time PeopleMatter was purchased by Snag a JOb- another company having many poor reviews. These people suck.

So, this place asks for your whole entire social security number. Nut just the last four digits, the whole entire thing. That's so risky for identify theft! I highly do not recommend it.
