Worst employment site ever, reset my password five times and it still wouldn't let me in, then it locked me out. $#*! you Snag a Job, you won't get credit for finding me a job because you have dunces for webmasters and fools for employees $#*! you
I just completed an application for a job where "employer actively reviewing applications." The application included my social security number. When I had wasted 20 minutes doing the application and submitting, I received a message: Posting expired, but we have other listings you may be interested in. This effort was a TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY. Never again!. I am going back to Indeed.
This is a total scam. We created ONE account with Snagajob, they created a second account. We canceled our account, but noticed we kept getting billed after we canceled. We asked for a refund, they refunded us one month, but not the other... And it's a total mess. They say we didn't pay for the other month, but it's on our credit card statement! DO NOT USE SNAGAJOB!
After i signed up to snagajob everyone on my email address book was contacted about useless nonsense crap. Snagajob isn't worth your time.
I applied to be a member of this platform. Was sent to a phone interview then I was told that my phone interview was in evaluation and it would be a week before I was contacted on a job offer or not. Well that one week turnaround took almost a month. I had to reach out to the company on my application via text. I did not get a response back until 2 days later! All of a sudden I get an email stating that I was approved! Start your on-board process. Literally, the onboarding process was so tedious! The online paperwork took much of a DAY to even complete! You have to complete every step before you can apply for your first shift! Finally when the online paperwork was finally completed, I was on a base hourly rate of $15.50. And when I tried to search for Shifts, message came up that NO SHIFTS WERE AVAILABLE! What? All that work for nothing? Thanks but no thanks. I immediately DEACTIVATED my account. Hands down, UPSHIFT is a much better platform for same day hire work! Avoid Snag-a-job at all cost! Horrible Experience!
I believe Snagajob discriminates against older workers. It apparently doesn't matter if you have experience, are flexible, and accept the pay rate and hours--they don't want you.
Every time i try to put in job applications. I have to create a new email account every time and yalls systems sucks. Because it keeps telling me that this email is already on file. I gave this site 1 star because all im trying to do is put in job applications and i have to keep making new emails just to use snagajob.com it sucks PERIOD! Who wants to have to make a new email every time, That takes away from putting in applications! Snagajob should REALLY FIX THIS PROBLEM!
$#*!ting coding, 3rd party bull$#*! that takes your info down for no reason probably just to collect and sell your data hopefully someone investigates
I would rather stick to Indeed. I apply on snagajob and most of the emails i get back are scams. Its annoying. They need to have a better way of detecting scam accounts
I would not recommend this site to know one. Did not recongnize my pass word or e- mail account kept on locking me out of employment can not get any feed back from no one to try to hel you
So, this place asks for your whole entire social security number. Nut just the last four digits, the whole entire thing. That's so risky for identify theft! I highly do not recommend it.
Honestly Snag a Job was easy to navigate and it took no time at all to make an account. I found my current job on snag a job and check on jobs in my area from time to time.
While I'm bombarded multiple times a day with emails from SnagAJob with job opportunities, majority of the time they are openings that either don't actually exist once I click to be linked to the opening on their website or they're full blown scams. Two examples: first, I get an email at 10am about a variety of open roles with Amazon. When I click to see these openings, they aren't actually there. Furthermore, I check Amazon's actual job board and they haven't been hiring at all. Second example, I kept getting email after email after email for WEEKS with a job opening from the Post Office. When I finally check it out and go through the application, it asks me to pay $40 in "admin fees" to have my application processed. When I look into this matter, turns out this is a fairly common scam website posing as a post office job board. SnagAJob DIRECTLY directed me to this job application.
I could've had my payment method compromised, leading to the potential loss of thousands of dollars in my bank account, all because SnagAJob doesn't vet through scam openings. I've also never heard back from a job when I applied via SnagAJob, but have heard back from the same jobs when I've applied on the actual company's job board. Snag is a waste of time and honestly dangerous if you're not internet savvy. Don't waste your time.
I was led to Sangajob through a link on the careers page of a potential employer. The link was supposed to take you through the application process, basically filling out the app through Snagajob. After several issues arose, I tried twice to get help from Sangajob, over a period of few days, and only ever received emails stating that a case had been generated, and I would hear from Snagajob support. I never heard back, and after a week of waiting, returned to Snagajob, and entered a request to delete my account, explaining the troubles I had had, and that I thought they should be more timely, considering I was trying to gain employment while the clock was ticking so to speak, and that in their business, I though they should be more concerned. This also generated the same type of response, saying a support case had been generated, and I would hear from a support rep soon. In this case, I received an email saying the account had been deleted, less than 24 hours later. They never did address my original concerns. I wouldn't trust them if you actually are concerned about getting your app in first, they don't seem to care if you actually stand a chance at getting the job. They suck at what they do.
I WASTED MY MONEY & MY TIME. DO NOT RECOMMEND USING SNAG A JOB. I used this site to try and hire a retail associate. I paid a lot of money in hopes this site would yield qualified candidates to fill this position. My job post was well written and the compensation was competitively priced, so I was expecting Snag a Job to deliver as lead me to believe they would. As a few unqualified applicants trickled in, I called customer service to ask for any tips or tricks that would help improve the results of my post. I did not get any recommendations or suggestions and had no choice but to wait and hope it would start working. I ended up with only 5 applicants in one month and could not interview a single one due to the poor selection. Their website claims they are America's #1 spot for individuals seeking hourly work! I find this incredibly hard to believe due to my terrible experience. Snag a Job claims you can "post a job and find someone fast". I wish I had gone to one of their competitors. I hope this review will save another employer from enduring the same nightmare I experienced.
Don't waste your money. Terrible results and poor service. They lock you into a auto renewing contract, and we have had 0 return on our investment.
Great website for jobs... I could 4 interviews and 2 jobs offers in my first week of using the site. I highly recommend it!
We did not get a single applicant that was qualified. We posted a part-time job with Quickbooks experience as a qualification.
What a pice of crap site. All old jobs. U have no job chance if u use this site. No help at all finding a job.
