SmileBox

I have used SmileBox in the past and was pleased with the service and decided to join again to create a couple of family vacations. To my surprise I wasn't able to drop and drag photos and shift them. After creating a album, and trying to review it my edits did not match up to what I posted for each photo. It got scrambled. Now for the worst part the worst customer service. You email them your issue and all they do is rephrase what you typed with no solution. Just Terrible!

I have used smilebox and paid the premium for several years and recently realized on some of my older slideshows the music had been removed and a most annoying instrumental had been added. I asked them why and it took 2 days to respond that because they were older they didn't have access to the music! Now I'm wondering if I cancel if all of my creations will be gone and I don't have access anymore. 48.00 is pretty steep for so few options and then they take your music off. I'm so disappointed.

It is the best card creator I have seen in the internet. However, their payment method looks like a scam. At first, there are three levels of membership. With the free option one can only create a card, but cannot download it, share it or do anything with it. Furthermore, there is only available an annual subscription. But the information that it is the annual subscription is hidden on the last page of the payment process, which may be easily overlooked.

I used this application to create a memory dvd for my mothers memorial service... it was easy and looked professional... I was able to make copies easily for my siblings and share the link afterwards with some relatives... now a few weeks later with Christmas here... I didn't send greeting cards. But this application. Allowed me the time to create some personal cards in my time of grief...

Their desktop version no longer works yet they auto-renew and charge you for it. Since you can't get into the account you can't change the auto-renew option. Also, all the days and weeks spent creating Smileboxes are all for nothing as they can't be retrieved any longer. I had weddings and memories of people who no longer live not here! Extremely disappointed.

One of the surprises I experienced was how much Smilebox offered to consumers who did not sign up for all the bells and whistles. I was able to make a creative slideshow for a dear friend, having plenty of selections to choose from. It saves your design and gives you the option to send it digitally, all for Free. Upgrading to full access gives you more than you can imagine for a very reasonable annual fee. Someday, I hope to be able to have full access but for now, I'm very happy with the basics. I wish there were more choices for more types of "cards", tho. I pay for the premium service, which has a lot more choices than the free one, but still more choices need to be had. Get your creative department to brainstorm and come up with some more unique ideas to choose from.

I love Smilebox, being able to edit photos, make collages, postcards, invites, online scrapbooks, slideshows, facebook covers, personalize and jazz up pictures and add quotes to photos, frames and so much more. I love that you can either print them, save them, share them online via email or social media. Great for videos too, I love that you can pick a theme, add multiple videos and make a your own home movie. I started using the free version of Smilebox and loved it... then I decided to get the paid version {{one fee only once a year was worth it}} to have tons more options to choose from and I use it all the time, love it and highly recommend it. I've printed off gorgeous postcards & invites from home and share collages & video online almost every week.

I would gladly pay for one month so I could send out 3 Christmas cards but I should not have to notify you to cancel my subscription after sending these cards out. Just don't like where I have to notify you. You would get more people paying for your service if you allowed only one month of use with no further notice necessary. Good business sense.
