I called the call center on a technical issue and the service was very good. The matter was attended to in 12 hours and I received 3 calls to check on the service. This is real service.

They have a very irresponsible customer care. They can't fix our connection problems asap. We have to wait almost half an hour to talk someone in customer care. If I have to call them then the 1st thing I do is reloading 100 rupees to my phone. Connection drops everytime & It'll take long time to reconnect. I don't know what happened but my connection is not working right now I called the customer care they don't answer. Can someone tell me what the hell they are doing now in night besides answering phone calls... $#*!ty SLT
I am a software developer, As a developer Fiber connection speed works for me. But downtime service should improve. My fiber connection goes down at 8.30 AM and I informed customer care. They told me that within 2 or 3 hours the technician will come. But now the time is 4.40 PM still no any action for fix connection. Already 8 hrs gone but still no fix. As a country, we can't develop like this. Please improve your customer technical service.

The case is all are fcking thieves in the Sri Lanka government. When I call 1212 no answer from slt main branch. Useless isp and service. Money eater. Worst packages systems. Fck sl government. Fck sl politicians. Fck all isp $#*!s.
To made location transfer more the 3 week no update. From Maradana Colombo 10 regional call several time but no response. If call 1212 more than 8 time during period just ball passing no response. Least customer service organization in Sri Lanka.
I went to the Kandy slt branch, three ladies they chatting and don't care me. After I asked one of product they have no idea about what I'm asking? Finally I log in to google and show them it (Sri lanka telecom web site)they told me call hot line. Very careless people and bad customer services
Duration the conversation, around 08:10 when I was try to explain my problem to the slt agent of galle branch*******242), suddenly his disgusting behaviour appeared. I think you have recording of all conversations. As a customer of slt, I highly disappointing about your low grading customer service & I would like to recommend a solution for you. Agents like them could be harmful for your key priorities and be aware of 'em. Thank you
Connection is slower, they add big taxes for buying extra Data, router restarts few times everyday, ping is so high when I play online games. Scams all the way...

False promises they give,selling a product which afterwards turns out not to work as told and at a more costly price.
They use scammers to sell their products on the road or going house to house.They give you a package and all best solution which afterwards don't work.
Ex our house we payed ******* advance,then lime was put.But the connectivity in our house was worse then all others companies.Cant even received wifi 10 m away in my kitchen only one corner.

Also the rate given on monthly basis wasn't the one we now have to pay. Now suddenly it's 1000 Rp more a month and still not working properly.But they don't care.Someone should take them to court actually.Even the agent who came to sell us the product is now lying.Its all a scam never trust never try to get them.I will cancel it again.If ever you do get agent along,make him clearly write a statement and price with his signature.

I had requested for a new fiber connection online. They managed to take my application form filled after two requests after that there is no noice from them for almost a month now. Not sure if SLT understands that in this day and age people will not wait for an Internet connection for months like in the olden days when they used to dominate. If the level of service is like this even before you purchase the connection I can imagine the the service once you purchase it. Pls stay away from this ISP
Very dissatisfied with the data distribution and transparency on how data gets vanished. Customer service is relatively good since they call back,. But the backend system seems very disorganized.

I have been in Sri Lanka for only a few weeks now on vacation, and we got the unlimited wifi package for 25GB limit a day, unlimited my $#*!, and the download speed has barely crossed 50Mbps and the upload speed is not even 15Mbps. This is the worst internet provider I have ever worked with. I went in person and brought up the issue, and they just keep selling more packages for me to buy and yet nothing has changed. They just want to line their pockets with my money just like the corrupt Sri Lankan government who cheated their people! I would give them zero stars, except the system forces you to give a rating.

I have requested for a peo tv connection and its been two weeks for now no any agent contacted me till i contact them, and when I asked my cash back they still asking me to wait weather they can process it, what the $#*! is that, I dont recommend this $#*!ty company to any one
At first this was the best connection. No other service had any service better than this. Today t's the worst. All other services improve theirs but this... This service is going way down. I think dialog will leave them in dust.

My experience with SLT has been really disappointing. They're supposed to help with communication, but it's super hard to get in touch with them. I've tried calling and emailing them lots of times about my connection problems, but they hardly ever answer the phone and when they do, I'm left waiting forever or told to fix things myself.
I'm a busy person, like many others and I can't keep taking time off work to go to their service centers over and over again. Even when I followed their advice and visited the Avissawella SLT section multiple times, they just sent me to Homagama in the end, making things even more frustrating.
It doesn't make sense that a company providing a service can't come to us to fix problems. Instead, they make us run around trying to sort things out ourselves which is really stressful.
Even though I always pay my bills on time, I end up with lots of unused data because of their service problems, which feels unfair.
Overall, I'm really unhappy with the way SLT treats its customers. They don't seem to care about helping us out when we need it most. I'd warn others to think twice before choosing them for their communication needs.

Dear Sri Lanka Telecom PLC,
After repeated harrowing experiences, I've decided to go public.
In a little over a year now according to the exact words of your customer service reps, I've lodged 'SEVERAL' complaints regarding the loss of signal on my Fibre connection. I've pleaded with y'all numerous times to find a permanent solution.
What started off with monkeys pulling out the overhead fibre cables, to router cable malfunctions, the response time to any of my complaints have been staggering.
I've recently had a maintenance crew member call me to fix a time to address the problem only to have him delay by about 5 hours, upon which time i call to inquire about his whereabouts. His reply? "Wrong Number".
Yesterday i called frequently because of my past experiences. I spoke with a customer service rep called Nuftha, who had the audacity to state that i wouldn't have any help in just a couple of hours post my complaint BUT, she GUARANTEED me that my line would be fixed within 24 hours of the complaint. I made it clear that i'd call back if that didn't happen and mention her name to her supervisor/manager. To which she sarcastically replied, "OoooKkkk".
On queue, I called 1212 today morning. Told the customer service rep that it's not helping me talking with them, so i'd like to speak with someone who actually has some authority to take action and get the relevant people to attend to my problem ASAP. I was put on hold till i ran out of credit. 21:59 minutes and 53.94 rupees later, i'm still the butt of your incompetence.
Yes! I was indeed exposed to the fact that it is 'New Year's' and that there is a possibility that help is scarce. I totally understand, but my connection was working fine until i saw a crew of your maintenance team working outside my premises. As soon as i saw the connection drop, I ran out only to find them missing.
What's funny is during such a crucial economic state, you'd think that corporate giants such as yourself would pull out all your reserves to retain customers and their loyalty. I've already downgraded and will opt out as soon as another service provider enters the ring. Whatever immunity it is that you have that lets you treat customers the way you do, it's not right.
