We used SkyLux to book Business Class travel from the US to Bangkok and from Hanoi back to the US.The price was less than published airfare and the service for booking and seat assignment worked smoothly. The trip is booked on Air China but it was booked by SkyLux using Air France frequent flyer miles. It seems to have worked.

Had to cancel a trip ( Finnair Business Class - LAX to DEL) in June last year for which an airline credit was promised instead of a refund. Sean Lidell (Skylux agent) has been giving me a run around for over a month now to book a ticket on dates that he has suggested. Worst experience - stuck only because of airline credit - will never ever use Skylux for my 3-4 trips a year (with wife) between US and India. They sell travel insurance and then find reasons why it cannot be covered by insurance - then hold the money for several months and then give a run around. He actully booked my wife's ticket by economy - while the credit was for Business Calss fare. She had to travel at that time - so she ended up taking it - she even had to pay $100 for extra bag (he clearly confirmed two bags will be allowed) - and now has refused to refund that $100 as wel. He is a CROOK - stay away from him...

I booked a direct flight from Nashville to London through Skylux Travel. When British Air cancelled the flight, I requested a refund. Skylux gave me a refund but charged almost $400 to give me that refund. I made a complaint to British Air, but they told me that they were not involved with the Skylux penalty. If you book directly with the airline, you would not have to pay a penalty.
Right now our US Embassy is telling all US citizens to not go to the UK because of the pandemic. Flights through Skylux that are cancelled because of COVID will also carry a penalty. Based on other complaints, approximately $400 seems to be their typical charge.
Herman B. Must be a robot. He did not answer why I was charged almost $400 for a flight cancelled by British Air. British Air did confirm that the airline gave me the refund, but they have nothing to do with the penalty... THAT WAS ALL SKYLUX
