I tried Skillshare two year ago in 2018. I was charged TWO YEARS LATER for a premium account that I had no knowledge of. It was a secret charge and I don't know how they did that. It's a scam.
They won't refund me the $99 because I didn't notice the charge nor could notify them within the seven days.
The last email I have from them is from 2018.
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR TRIAL! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
Skillshare is great for anyone wanting to learn at a really good price. I have learned so much since I've signed up and there is still so much more to help me grow as an artist.

I was supposed to get a 2 month free trial. However, they charged me for a year, and they are now refusing to refund my money. Stay away from this company...

Authors are very interactive even with the pre recorded course contents.
It has the advanced version of courses for almost all the technical skills available.
In every way I recommend Skillshare; amazing customer service, a seemingly endless variety of excellent classes - I've learned some new skills and honed others - with wonderful teachers, and a world of creativity and education I only wish I could spend more time exploring!

This company has excellent customer service and is a pleasure to use. They also have the option to try it for either free or cheap so I don't see why you wouldn't. Skillshare is amazing!
People, do not pay them for a Premium account! Because if you decide to cancel it they'll still charge you. My friend had such situation and couldn't get her money back!
Just as may others in this group, skillshare also scammed me by taking out a membership fee after I had cancelled my free trial and hasn't given me a refund back.
I canceled my monthly subscription in November of 2019 and it was now suddenly reactivated in March of 2020. Fortunately, I used PayPal and was able to cancel the subscription before I was billed. I send them a GDPR request to erase all personal data to prevent that from happening again.
Skillshare is great for newbies - really great. It has great introductory courses in a variety of topics and they always make sure to add new relevant content every week.
