I've found less traction with my resume after going through Skillroads than I did previously: as someone applying at a director level of engineering, I found the subject matter expertise lacking in the final product: a week's worth of using it and feedback from recruiters I know who specialize in my field described my resume coming across as not reflecting the real complexity and seniority of my work.

I did appreciate getting a more ATS friendly resume, and there were some useful language editing choices in there that I've kept. If you're pushing a high level of seniority in your career, I think you'll get less value from this service than those who are at the beginning/mid-point of their careers.

Customer service and sales employee. I have good tact in dealing with customers and solving their problems. I have good communication and listening skills. I have more than two years of experience in the call center field. I am also diligent in my work and ready to learn new skills and apply the skills and experiences gained at work in a group environment.

The Skillsroad CV review is extremely misleading. No surprise - they are trying to up-sell their own rewriting service. However, when their initial AI report claims that you score 2/15 for Style and Formatting, due to typos, spelling and grammatical errors it really does call their credibility into question. Especially so, when the apparent errors are names and specialist and industry standard acronyms and key words. Take any advice from these clowns with a liberal pinch of salt - and DO NOT pay them anything to rewrite your CV.

I ordered a CV editing 2 months ago. Starting with that purchase, my career has gotten a significant boost. I was invited to 14 (!) job interviews and got the job which I even had not dreamt of getting!

Team of resume experts are very skilled. I have ordered resume writing service and Skillroads created a resume from scratch for me. It really assisted to get my first job.

I took the Linkedin Writing + CV Editing service from this company for 48 hour service. They didn't delivered even within 89 hours. The delivery was extremely poor. No Linkedin profile Review was performed. They only changed the CV layout, the content writing, language were simply terrible. The writer didn't have any idea how to write an European CV.

When I started a Paypal dispute, they said their top writer will work on that and requested me to close the dispute and guarantee that I will get full refund. However, after closing the dispute, they produced even a lower version and didn't give me any refund. After complaining with their so called QAD manager, they offered me 11.87 USD Refund!

Even a standard 8 student will produce a better work than this one. In addition, A company which lies just to get away with paypal dispute and don't keep theirs words - SHOULD NOT BE in business.

Extremely poor quality and customer service

The cover letter produced sounded unprofessional and portrayed me as desperate and inexperienced. The font used was childish, there were many grammar and spelling errors, and many factual errors. Those things are easy to fix, but does not instill confidence in the final product. The artificial intelligence used is very obvious. I requested a refund of the $126 I spent on the product, and received only a 20% refund though the product is un-usable (they claimed the cover letter was professional and declined to respond to my complaint that the product was not up to my specified standards). I would not recommend using this service.

Extremely unprofessional service. Writer initially just scrambled words in the resume and LinkedIn profile I sent. Resume looked unprofessional and messy. As an example, writer listed 'backlog management' in my career highlights, and I have 15+ years of project and program experience. LinkedIn profile came in bad shape too. When I sent the feedback and asked for updated version, I got the 'LinkedIn advice' document which sets the basic rules for creating LinkedIn profile.
When I brought this up with their customer service, they didn't see anything wrong woth it. Average answering time for writer was a week, so the overall process lasted month and a half...
At the end, I had to review my resume and LinkedIn profile with a different service.
If you are looking for advice 0 go to different service right away. Save your precious time and money.
