“I had the best time on Singlesnet!”

T.L J.

I had so much interest and dates when I was on Singlesnet. Out of all the various dating sites, it was the best one! A woman I met through the site is now my wife and we have a 15 year old son together. Time sure does fly by!

Useless website, they control too much who matches are and I never got one reply or message. Maybe ladies are just too conservative here in the Midwest

This website when researched on the internet advertises itself as being 100% Free to lure you in... The truth is you still have to have a membership to email anybody!

I finally had to drop this site entirely; it is loaded with scammers. I got one inquiry from someone claiming to be a 114-year-old, 4'5", blad actress of African American descent. Oh, Please. I was getting several a day for a while, all unsolicited, none of whom showed up in the regualr stream. Apparently a lot of these scammers are on the West Coast of Africa, they are very flowery in their letters, but have nothing to say about themselves. Instead, they prattle on about "love". Don't wste your time. As an experiment, I created another personality from a different ISP, and got the same "match" recommendations on both ISPs. What a waste of carbon and oxygen.

I canceled my membership before it was due to renew and they charged it to my card anyway. When I called them about having it reapplied back to my card they told me they couldnt do that and were rude to me..

I did not pay to become a member, but I could e-mail paying members and did arrange at least a couple of dates. One particular date was with a very nice respectful woman who I hope to continue a relationship with.

The site was very interesting at first. However, Apron joining I was offered a joining fee of just over $7.00 p/wk and my checking account was requested, which I agreed to this amount only. My bank reported that 89.95 was taken out of my account, and it put a deficent on my account which caused a overdrown service fee charge on my account.
I was unable to contact 'custmer services" because there isn't one listed! Now I'm out of $89.95 plus the service fee charged by my bank of $26.00.
The amount was taken out of my account via debit card. Singlesnet, com advertised a monthly payment, but subtractacted the entire amount a one time.

Their practices are unethical and are in violation of consumer rights laws. I was on this site as a paying member. I received interest mail, directly from this site. It was from another member, and I am sorry to repeat, who's profile name was, "spermforyour$#*!". I have contacted this site. I do believe they profess to monitoring activity/people. I guess, they support this kind of deviate behavior. This is an "unsafe" site. To quote "God", this falls right into (Romans 1:18-32; 2:1-6)

Singlesnet is perhaps the most shady website in the business of online dating. In addition to the fact that they make a huge effort to be impossible to contact, they refuse to discuss support issues with paid members. The phone number they list with Visa, associated with my charges, is bogus- its an answering machine urging me to call back during business hours, yet I am calling during business hours. No ability to leave a message. The phone number listed with 411 at comcast is actually a phone number to a competitor website that claims no association with singlesnet whatsoever. Singlesnet is a match.com affiliate website, and the only way I was able to get my charges refunded was by calling match.com. SInglesnet has a cute policy with regard to their chat rooms- Do so much as say a curse word, and they ban your account. I actually would not mind this part, except that they REFUSE to implement an ignore function. So here is how it goes... You join. You go into chat. As is typical in most chat rooms, somebody harasses you or one of your friends. After an hour or two of abuse, you finally lose your temper and start slinging stones back. Then they promptly relieve you of your account, citing terms of service issues. Then your IP address is banned for 24 hours. Then they allow you to sign up again under the same username, email address, but without membership status you paid for. The expectation is that you pay again. In effect, this website is a digital swear jar. Repeated requests by members for an ignore function in chat are routinely answered with 'we are working on it'. It doesnt take a year to add this function, more like a couple of hours of coding by a developer that is familiar with their code. When you first go to the website, it lists other 'members' in your area, all of them are of course extremely attractive people. Problem is, they claim the same list of 'members' that are in your area, regardless of the area. Obviously these people are fabricated to make you more likely to join. This website is a scam on so many levels, PLEASE... google it before you join, you will find customer satisfaction on the level of my experiences to be the norm for these people. This last part is a suspicion on my part, but I cannot actually prove it- Certain really offensive members seem to never, ever get banned, and my suspicion is that those people work for singlesnet.

Last evening, I went into their chat room. Three female members of the site began making fun of me. While I admit that I used foul language toward either one or all of them, I only did it in self defense. I am not the type of person who goes into chat rooms and starts verbally abusing people. I woke up this morning to find that I have been banned from their website. I'm not sure which country singlesnet.com operates in, but in America, we have something called "Freedom of Speech" which is protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution. I find it appalling that, never mind listening to my side of the story, they would do this without even telling me! This is entrapment, and if I had legal recourse, I would sue them. Don't use this site guys, it's set up by women, for women and if you're a man you have no rights in their eyes. Last Saturday, I asked a female member if she likes to wear stockings and pantyhose. Somebody named Lynette who I wasn't even talking to called me a jerk and said my comments were "inappropriate". I asked this member if I had offended her in any way, and she said no.

I am a featured member on singlesnet.com, that means I'm a paying member, I had a one time contact with a non featured member on the site, about a week later I received five messages from this psychotic member, who cursed me and insulted me, with profanity like you never woulsd hear in your lifetime, I immediatly reported this to singlesnet custermer service department, because this member who's screename is brusselsprouts64 is a basket case and seems to be dangerous, I also allowed them to veiw the messages, they agreed that it was dangerously inappropriate, but said they would moniter his activity on the site, I fumed moniter, him a person with his psychotic personallity, should be banned from the site, he's insulting paying members and how he could send me five insulted emails on the site without being a featured member, leaves me stunned, this site is insecured, and they need to delete members profiles that are like this person, I'm very apprehensive concerning this matter. And they won't even give me a refund.

I paid for a 1 year subscription cause I saw the 30 day money-back guarantee. After 4 days I asked to be canceled and asked for a refund (via email since they don't answer the listed phone).

After many emails asking for a refund I gave up and filed a complaint to the bbb (a bunch of shills. SEE: http://1ofthebiggestproblemsintheworld.com/WORST_Better_Business_Bureau/).

This is the message they sent me the first time:

The shills at the bbb answer to my complaint was that the thieves at singlesnet.com indicated that I was supposed to phone my cancellation in.

I just gave up on the bbb since this was a similar response to my complaint with the thieves at 1an1.com

I believe that with the internet many of these thieves will be exposed and boycotted by the unsuspecting consumer. I believe WE now have the upper hand!

Merry Christmas to all & God Bless!
