For all those who live outside NZ this website is just great. You can order gifts and jewelery at a rather standard prices. Also - the delivery is really fast here, took them less than two days to send out the order :)
I'd think twice about using this company. I would not use them again. Bought some Christmas decorations I assumed were made in NZL. No where could I find where they were made. The product was scratched and looked second hand. Made in China. Really disappointed to be told they must have been damaged in transit. Clearly a poor quality control issue.
Let me start by saying I am a kiwi guy living in New York. I have a friend over here who has never tried some of the awesome candy we have in New Zealand so I searched on the net and found silverfernz.com.
They had some of the candy I was looking for and also some other great New Zealand products and since it was my mates birthday I went over the top a little and bought a couple of kiwi t-shirts, a greenstone pendant and of course pineapple lumps for us to enjoy.
Well they shipped the order the same day, the shipping was cheaper than buying something in the US and and it came from New Zealand, the package arrived in 7 days from New Zealand and everything was perfect, 7 days that is quicker than most US sites.
I found my new favorite ex-pat site to buy all my New Zealand goodies, thanks guys.
Silverfernz contacted me. It seems that "parcels are being held up in Canada due to a backlog of incoming International orders". Finally, I did get my order and am very happy with it!
I ordered from Silverfernz a Pandora charm for my bracelet, represenging a "fern". I went to New Zealand in 2012 on holidays, and it was a fantastic trip! This country is incredibly beautiful, and I wanted to have a charm representing New Zealand. It will be 7 weeks since the date of my order and still have not got it. I wrote to Silverferns three times explaining to them the situation, an order I fully paid but have not received, asking what could be done, a reimbursement or send a new one... Nothing, not a word and that is why I am very unhappy with this company.
After 3 months of sending mails and asking where my order is, I asked my money back. They never responded.
