Last week, Dec.13, when I placed $212 order, their Rep. Told me clearly: "It will be delivered on Dec.20 by USPS". Well, it didn't. When I called them earlier today, I was told that it will be UPS, not Postal Service, and it could be 3-4 days after their "estimated" date that I was given upon placing that order. UPS does NOT have any place/boxes at our apartment complex; there are no balconies or patios here, as well. Therefore, I didn't leave my home for a minute all long day today, waiting for UPS (brown truck) to come and hand my box to me. Guess what: nobody came, as it was stated by their Rep, and the truth is...it could be delivered by 2023, when I will be at work...
WILL NOT DEAL WITH THIS VENDOR AGAIN.
Item, one of two, purchased online for $54.95 + tax and credit card charged online on October 20,2022. Returned package USPS on 11/2/2022 at a charge of $8.95. Customer service expect delivery 11/8/2022. CREDIT OF $46.00 (+TAX?) WAITING TIME OF 14 DAYS TO "PROCESS"!
RIDICULOUS RETURN POLICY, REQUIREMENTS, CHARGES AND DELAYED CUSTOMER CREDIT.
I wrote a bunch of reviews of products on the shopnational site. They posted all the 4 and 5 star reviews, but not the single 3 star review, which was on a product that had no reviews yet. My review wasn't obnoxious, it was balanced. I do see negative reviews for items that already have reviews, so maybe it's just the fact that it's the first review that they don't like?
Anyway I always wonder about brands that have reviews on their own websites in terms of how many "negative" reviews they allow. Now I wonder if they "tweak" the review profile.
I'll likely still shop there somewhat but this is a lesson to me not to trust the review profiles. Especially if there is only one review and it's positive, or if an item doesn't have any reviews... I'll be assuming there were negative reviews that were censored out.
At least there are other retailers that sell National clothing where reviews aren't as censored.
Incidentally I do not see a way to edit the review. I left a review on an item before I noticed a sewing flaw, a crimped thread on the bodice. I'd have mentioned that in the review if I'd been sharp enough to see it. Oops, my bad.
I Received the item listed above (Black Cherry Button Front Knit Cardigan, I am so please with this item.
The Color, Style, Material. Recommend this item in any color, (which I have 2 others) you will never want to take it off.
I've been getting this catalog for quite sometime, ordered once long time ago. For Christmas 2019 wanting to order online. I couldn't login. Finally called customer svs. I got wrong info from two separate phone calls. Third agent told me to place an order which should take care of my acct issue, and was told to Not to open package, write "refuse ', return to post office. Which I did. Agent said I would be refunded entire bill. Refund was not showing up on Paypal after several weeks. I emailed them and promptly received a refund, however, I was charged shipping both ways! I called and after some discussion, both shipping charges "will be refunded". Also, waiting for refund of another "refused" order. Agent said they haven't received that package. Hummmm, very curious, both of my refusal packages were sent out the same time. (I know I have to pay the initial shipping cost- normal business practice in this instance). It's been several weeks. Not happy or confident about shopping with Shop National ladies apparel. I am no longer a customer. B in Michigan
I ordered six pair of panties and two pair were the wrong size. They would not take these on return, it had to be all six. I had worn three pair and opened the package with three more. Only one pair fit and the others did not. They would not allow return of just two. I asked that she remove my name from their mailing list and she was happy to accommodate me in this.
I'm a Young Man 14 years old and I don't want to grow up too soon I want to be able to play naturally no just play naturally and grow up like a kid
I have ordered twice now through their mail order catalog and the items were accurate and as described. Much less pricey than a department store. I was unsure about the shipping but it came surprisingly fast. Good for casual, at home or every day wear.
Answer: National's return policy is listed at the bottom of their Home page under Easy Returns. The policy states you have up to 180 days to return an item. It states you can use the same shipping envelope to return products by turning it inside out. Using their Easy Return Label will cost you $6.95 deducted from whatever you paid for the item. If you want an exchange you will also pay to have the exchange shipped to you. They list standard shipping as $5.95, probably via USPS. I have not yet bought from this company, but was checking out their ratings and saw this question.
