Worse than tits on a bull. This is a great site for those who have no brains and an open wallet. Great prices but you can't get the stuff. Nothing works.
Just like any online shops. Shopee also expects all their buyers to be ready to receive deliveries AT ANY TIME, ANY DAY. So, basically, you have to be waiting for them all day, all the time, every day because you will never know when they will come! They will send you a message for the day. If you miss the delivery man, that's it. You can't be talking to someone on the phone while waiting for them. You can't be working from home if they tell you they will deliver your ordered item. You have to be waiting at the door like a dog. You can not plan to go anywhere if you order from Shopee, you have to be ready to wait all day. You cannot even go to the comfort room unless they have arrived because if you miss the delivery, they will return the products to the seller or you will be stressed waiting for a refund. THAT'S E-COMMERCE AT ITS BEST!

I ordered at the store " aizysuf4f8 " a ceiling fan (₱1,668). They send an example paper for staff time. They book it as "delivered: but they send a message that they had comp problem but I will get my order – I should be patient ….
I wait and wait and asked for the delivery. Suddenly they banned me in the chat. MOREOVER, SHOPEE TOLD ME THAT IT IS TOO LATE FOR ANY INSURANCE AND REFUND. So they protect their CHEATING stores and are not helping the customers. BETTER (in case you order there at Shopee) ONLY CASH at delivery. Do not pay in advanced!
If purchase to many SAME items using shopee vouchers, you will be banned. Then u got to request for reactivation by receiving a warning email from shopee. Wth. I buy yet i was warned.
I just noticed that some unknown sellers, THAT I NEVER KNOW OR DID ANY TRANSACTIONS WITH, followed me and there's no option to remove them from my profile.
I chatted with support, waited, and wasted my time for more than an hour only to be told that they don't have option to remove followers.
They explained that sellers automatically follow users to promote their trash, gain traction, and push their products. AND US BUYERS DON"T HAVE ANY SETTING TO OPT OUT.

I have been using the Shopee online shopping app for over 5 years now. Here are my observations through out the years.
This shopping app continues to evolve from just a mere convenience online shopping app to a respectable and formidable challenger to Lazada.
First of all it offers all the merchandise as well as the vendors that are present in Lazada but with a Twist …it offers more free shipping, more vouchers, very good customer service support, good logistics, user friendly app, and most of all Fairness in dealing with customers.
Let me elaborate on each. It's a no brainer for vendors to sell their goods in as many places as possible. So if you're looking for vendor in Lazada look for it in Shopee and you'll find it there. It's no secret that Shopee offers more "free shipping & vouchers ". This is what lured me into trying this app in the first place. A vendor enticed me into trying it and i got hooked. Their customer service support is constantly evolving and improving to my amazement. Perhaps there can be a long queue but this too has improved.
I complained terribly about logistics twice during this past Christmas holidays because of missing package purportedly delivered by their logistics partner. I complained, provided proof that the package was not delivered in spite of "proof of delivery" provided by the courier. I admonished and advised shopee to really scrutinize their logistic partners for integrity of character. Their logistic partners seemed to have improved. There's more communication and better proof of delivery but they have to continually monitor this and listen to customers.
Their App is getting better. I still look forward to improving their "Search" just like the Amazon App. Search should provide relevant and specific items pertaining to the product being searched. This might take some time but if they do this they will be light years ahead of Lazada and for that matter more revenue.
Fairness. This is close to my heart. Shopee is Fair and Honest to its customers. This is what kept me using the App in spite of all the problems I have encountered throughout the years. Shopee gives you the benefit of the doubt and is willing to investigate. They also provide swift resolution to the problem at hand.

Seller did not shipped the item. Fully paid after 2 weeks order still not cancelled. They will tel you it will be auto cancel after 24-48 hrs but never did. After 2 weeks they promise the same thing over and over again. Worst customer service. Their support are useless. Ive contacted different support but no one seems to solve the case or they have no ways to do so. NO BUYER PROTECTION PRO SELLER. WORST JUST WORST. AS OF WRITING MY CASE STILL NOT RESOLVED OMG. NEVER WILL I TRANSACT WITH THEM ANYMORE.
I bought an item in shopee. Received the item in a week, After I open the parcel, I found out that the seller sent me the wrong item (i believe its intentional) (seller is POWERCENTRAL). Getting back a refund is a pain in the $#*!. Its already 2 weeks since I file refund in which the seller already confirmed that its wrong item, But its still needs validation from the seller before they will give refund, will never buy from Shopee again, especially pricey products. Shopee does not protect its buyers
My parcel was supposed to be delivered on the 21st of December. They attempted to deliver my parcel on the 27th, 28th and today, 29th. Yes, three attempts and none are successful. The reason is always "Insufficient Time". Their customer service is not reliable, either they lie to you or they straight up don't know their own policy and are always not sure of the information they're providing. And now I have to wait for my return/refund request to be granted. I'm seeking assistance from DTI as of now.
Update: I don't know what DTI did, but Shopee gave me a call lasy night, the 29th, then they delivered my parcel the today, the 30th. If you have a dispute, don't hesitate and go straight to DTI. Just provide them your detailed experience. Timeline, together with screenshots.

So I have been winding down on purchasing from Shopee Philippines but there are still some items (cat food and household stuff such as trash bags, cotton buds, junk food etc.) that are cheaper in Shopee than in Lazada Philippines. However, a majority of items that are purchased and the courier is J&T Express for delivery, you will definitely have delays in receiving the items or outright the order gets cancelled as the courier will fail to deliver the ordered item. I believe that Shopee has still not fully addressed or resolved this issue with their logistics partner. The Christmas season is over so the volume of orders for delivery should be less but J&T Express has still failed to rectify their delivery problems. I have an order placed on Jan. 12,2023 and it is now Jan. 25,2023 and the order has not arrived and for some reason Shopee will not allow me to click on the refund option when the item has been paid for and the Shopee guaranteed delivery period is way over the limit. So, my money is tied up with Shopee. I had another order (this was the seller's mistake) and they cancelled the order. It has been over 5 days and Shopee has still not refunded the order amount to my account. The Shopee agent informed me that it could take up to 45 days for the refund to appear in my account. That is truly unbelievable and why Shopee still gets a low evaluation from me. Hope this helps future users of Shopee Philippines to be aware of the potential pitfalls in their buying experience.
This site is very helpful I think because a lot of people has been giving their honest review and as soon as I read those I see that they really enjoyed this site or visiting this site, that's why I think this site is very helpful!
I made an account with shopee the day before and tried using the new joiner's voucher but had trouble with it. I contacted customer service and not only was I accused of violating the terms and condition, but was also replied in a very rude way. First off i have no idea how i could've violated anything having owned my account for such a short period of time. After only my first email asking why i couldn't use my voucher, i was replied by such an ill-mannered employee who explicitly said "your account is suspended. The decision is final." and then proceeded to tell me tell me I've violated the Terms and Conditions in the same email and finally deciding to end my query, without me being able to ask any further questions or even send a replying email.
Abruptly ending queries made by customers shows that they have no interest on working on consumer satisfaction, even when it takes as little effort as sending emails. Also, saying "The decision is final." is so audacious seeing as i was not even going to negotiate on my account being suspended, because why bother? There are tons of online shopping platforms way better than shopee.
Why would consumers ever want to support a platform that only cares about the needs of its advertisers and disregards people who actually "funds" their business. I would give zero stars if i could.
Shopee used to be a great help for consumers who are looking for a variety of products at a more affordable price. This is not the case now since customer reviews are NOT IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER. Positive reviews are being prioritized. This marketing strategy would MISLEAD shoppers about the current status of the products. What if the quality has changed? This information is hidden since negative reviews are not readily accessible. Customer reviews are very important to protect the consumers. Hope this concern reaches the Shopee management.

People at Shopee - Very bad customer service from email, chat and dispute support team. Very incompetent staff. They need trainings.
Process - Very long process of 3-5 days to resolve a very simple case. Unclear contradicting process of return/ refund orders. This gives me the feeling that their process is anti-customer and more on protective bogus/ scam sellers.
Technology - They have technology like an app, email, etc but seems they are not trained to use this resources.
Communication - Very poor/ lack of communication within the team members Chat, Email and Dispute Team.
SHOPEE needs to level up their standards of accepting sellers. There's a lot of bogus seller who do deliver incomplete items. It can be considered as mistake if only happen once but it happens to 2, 3, 4 customers. Shopee is not doing anything to investigate. And after the refund they will convert your refunded money as a Shopee pay? Can u imagine that policy? Please note that Shopee employee informed me on this policy. There is no $#*!ing way I will use this app.
P.S. Please next time put an option where we can put zero or negative stars.
I like shopee because there's just a lot of products being sold in a very small price compared to other shops. If their goal is to hook shopaholics like me then they already succeeded.
Limited products compared to the other online shopping website. And sometimes product description minimal. SUPPOSEDLY ZERO SHIPPING CHARGES not true but charge of 50 pesos upon executing the buy. And for the return acceptance location not so accessible and limited.
I kept on complaining on to Shopee because J&T continuesly sending me damaged items but Shopee can't even repremand them. I asked them if I can disable J&T and use Entegro instead but they can't do it what kind of business you have that you tolerate your shipping partners from sending damaged goods to your loyal customers not once but at least 4 or 5 times straight all items came from J&T are extremely damaged then all you say is sorry? You have a very bad business and your days as a business platform will be over soon if you don't improve because people will just find a way to get a better service.
Answer: You can but you must contact the seller since they are the one selling it. You can also chat shopee support for a possible refund
