Lies

Have been a customer for years. Now suddenly having problems. Bought something that said 6% cash back for today only so I bought my product that day. Was only credited for 3%. Wrote customer service twice... have yet to hear back. I should have gone through savingstar like I had intended and got my 4% instead.

Hey Lauren, The Cash Back guidelines according to the merchant you ordered from state that you were eligible for "up to 6%" on Custom Blinds and 3% on "all other purchases". This is why you were credited for 3% Cash Back. Please refer to the merchant's terms and conditions before making your purchase. Thanks for shopping with us!

I'm new to Shop at Home but I use several of their competitors, Mr. Rebates, Ebates and Splender. Beware of Shop at Home because they don't provide your cash back electronically through Paypal. They send a paper check, supposedly... I was supposed to receive on a few weeks ago, never got it, and now they won't answer any emails and there is no customer service number to talk to a live person. I would recommend Mr Rebates or Ebates over Shop at Home. Much better service and convenient.

Disappointment
December 9, 2015

I have been with Shop At Home since 2013 and have never rd had the problems in having recently. I currently have 9 unpaid cash backs which some is close to 60 days past due. I have put in disputes for all of them but Unfortunately I don't think I will receive them since they said its not in their system that I made these purchases. I am so disappointed in the way this is turning out for me that if I don't get a resolve soon I will have to change over to another rebate site. Where's my MONEY!

Not worth my time...

This was my first -- and last -- purchase through ShopAtHome. I have been unemployed for a few years and can use every cent I am entitled to. I needed a toaster oven and purchased one thru your site with a piddley 1% back, which I haven't received. I'll stick with Ebates.

These good folks have been sending me checks for years! Why? Because, anytime I go to shop on the internet I stop there first and look up the storesI want to visit. Usually, those stores are listed with a cash back percentage. I get the cash back and convenient delivery to my porch!

I used to us another cash back site but when I found that ShopAtHome offered a 110% price match guarantee with that site and others I was convinced that SAH was the best bet! I also touted this guarantee to many friends.

Alas, there is no more price matching. While I do still use SAH, I am careful to check other cash back sites to see who offers the best deal.

I have never had any problem with getting my money from SAH. Their customer service is a little slow to respond, but they do respond and I appreciate that.

Rebate on shopping is for real! - I joined Shopathome, not really believing they would actually send me money back. I received my first check from them. It really is legitimate. You go to their site, and from there, go to the site you want to make a purchase. You are credited with a % of money back. Ranges from 1% to 20% back on your purchases. I make all my on-line purchases through them now.

Coupons

I like your site except that I do not always get to print grocery coupons. About every other time they print and I get upset because it takes a lot of time to go through all of them and then end up with nothing.

Very disappointed!

The last 4 purchases have not been credited to my account. Three from Walmart and 3 from HSN. When I contacted you all, you did not respond until I told you about the $5.00 on the 199.99 purchase. I am very disappointed, and will stop after my next check.

Terminate my account without any notice, just because I made multiple gift with purchases for my friends and family, and they refuse to pay all the cash back even for those regular purchase. Very bad and greedy website, they can take all your cash back any time for the ridiculous reasons.

I love shopping through this site and getting cash back for al my online purchases! Plus, they have a 110% cash back guarantee, so if you find a better cash back deal on another site, you can report it to them and they'll match the other site's deal plus another 10%.

I have been a customer with Shop at home since 2012 they used to be a good cash back site but the last 2 months I have been missing my cash back from straight talk and have not been able to get it after emailing customer service many times and now the have stopped the 110% guarantee and their cash back is way lower then top cash back and Befrugal. I think if they advertise the cash back then they should make sure we get it because I could have used another site so now I will be going through either top cash back or befrugal because they don't stand behind their advertisement and have been shopping at straight talk through shop at home for 4 years now. So sad that these sites gets everyone to go through them then once we become a loyal customer everything changes. In the past I would have highly recommended shop at home but now I would not recommend them at all I would use top cash back or Befrugal and they give way better cash back.

I tried this once... thought it sounded like a good idea. Instead, it got into my system and although I have tried every technique they suggest, I can't get it to go away on some of my sites. Because part of the program is deleted, but not all, it keeps returning me to the home pages of sites... so I can't even use them! I have spent literally hours trying to get this scam software off my sites... but can't do it. Clear history... clear browser... restart... use this special link... restart... etc. NOTHING. AVOID!

I have been a ShopatHome.com customer for almost a year. I purchased a $900 camera from BestBuy, but NEVER received the cashback. I inquired about this, and never heard back. Other purchases are a hit or miss, and takes upto 30 days to hear back. If you dont hear back, you can file a cash back inquiry. They dont respond to these inquiries either. Id recommend eBates or fatWallet.

Last time I wrote review on Sitejabber about Shopathome. Their customer service has contacted me instantly! Replied to both of my inquiries. One about missing cash back, one about missing check. For the missing cash back they told me that I still have to wait while they do the search. For the missing check, last time They told me that I have to wait until April 20, if not receiving the check that was send in March 30. Today is already April 20, I contacted them again. And No one answer me again! I have been using Shopathome for almost 3 years now, and I had never had problem with receiving check, and whenever I email customer service they always replied me back the second day that I send in request! This is the first time, I had that many problems. I do not know what's going on with shopathome customer representatives! I called the phone of the shopathome that was posted on the sitejabber, and again, no one picked up the phone, even though I have been calling for at least 10 times!

I love this program I forget to check where it's good at and as soon as I start to shop the offer pops up I don't have to do a thing. My first check was a total surprise and it was for over $70.00 we had bought a pool table and the refund was nice to receive. I love the fact shop at home keeps track of what I'm going to get and let me know this time I know what my check will be and when to expect. Thanks for a great service I look forward to racking up some more refunds.

My business is listed on this website without my permission. I don't offer coupons and they had no right to add my site. They just want to show a lot of businesses listed rather than businesses that requested to be listed. That's misleading to customers

I bought airplane tickets and was supposed to get 2% cash back from shop at home and have e mailed them several times and have yet to hear back from them. This was back in february. I have had great luck with them in the past on little purchases but making a 700.00 purchase and not receiving my cash back and no response back on what is going on, I just plain give up on this site and have moved on to another website.

I didn't like it at all. Very spammy. I never bothered trying to get money back. If you scroll through the reviews you'll notice a lot of posts on same dates by people with no image and only one review. All of them raving about the site one after the other but if you go through to the earlier reviews, one posted just recently... they say terrible things about this site.
It's quite obvious most of the positive reviews were posted by individuals associated with shopathome hence the higher star rating than it deserves. The fact that they would attempt to get ahead that way pretty much diminishes their credibility in my opinion.
I think the concept is great though. I hope they clean their act.
Don't let others be scammed. If you feel you agree, post your honest review.
