I paid for a year membership after looking at the ranking of reshipping companies. I've used them on high ticket items that ranged from $1500 to $5000 to save on Cali sales tax where I reside.
The customer service and opening a ticket to discuss issues is a joke. They are quick to close the support ticket and not even give a reply. They often use Fed Ex to ship items which is definitely one of the horrible shipping companies that cost more to ship. No option to choose what postal service to use (ie: USPS)
For the shipping fees you pay in additional to the added cost of packing and shipping out, the delivery can take long and they won't help answer questions.
They've shipped some items of mine and didn't pack it well that it moved around the fed ex box.
I regret paying the annual membership up front and I know I will not use their service once it's time to renew.

Consolidation 4packages, TNT economy
They did not consolidate my packages well, the total weight was to be 61.1 lbs, but I asked most minimized option that outside packages and labels should be cast aside. I found the many extra trash packages inside the box I received. I think they must reduce the package weight more. And TNT also charges additional local fee. And their Customs declaration was irresponsible. Finally, I had to pay much than expected.
I've just wasted $100.
I've been using shipito for a long time, but this time would be the last one.
Nowadays Shipito became a scam, there're a lot of hidden charges: they charge $2.5 to "process" each package and $2 to consolidate packages into bigger one for each package. That means $2+$2.5 = $4.5 for each package. And that doesn't include shipping costs, special requests, bank fees etc. You pay for everything.
Now I've consolidated 22 small packages (guitar strings) and I've got 22 * $4.5 = $99 bill for their so-called "service"!
But those fees aren't explained anywhere. You will it out only when you get your bill.
Sarcasm mode: Oh, that's my dream job: throw small boxes into big one for 5 minutes, get $100. Not bad, shipito, not bad at all!

Ordered stock from 3 different supplier, 5 different packages, I was emailed upon each delivery and a photo of each package was sent to me. I chose to consolidate and have Shipito repackage into one box which saved heaps in shipping. Once paid for the stock arrived in 3 or 4 days to Australia. Great service and simple web based processing.
Shipito sent me wrong tacking number so package was returned to sender by FedEx after exceeding claim period. They apologized but charged me again for shipping to same shipping address for the second time. Second time there was missing information and package was returned again.
It doesn't stop there. Ordered a frame and provided Shipito warehouse as shipping address. According to merchant the package was delivered to warehouse by store's truck driver but nobody at Shipito knows where the frame is.
Used Shipito for the first time to ship 6 packages from the US to UK. All went very smoothly, without a hitch. Shipito kept me well informed throughout the whole process.
I would recommend Shipito wholeheartedly.
I have been a customer of this company for years but the service and prices have drastically deteriorated. They never deal with complaints and don't even respond. I paid them to purchase a special order. They took the money but when I asked where the goods were after a few weeks, they said I didn't have enough money to buy the goods and asked me to deposit more money in. I was just about to deposit another lot of money in my account when the items finally arrived. Why didn't they have the information that these items had been purchased in the first place? They are slow to respond and send items or deal with requests. The company is absolutely hopeless. WE PAY YOUR WAGES! I'd look around for a more efficient company that actually gives a sh*t about their customers. These people do not. Massive rip off merchants. AVOID unless you want a very expensive headach!
I chose the cheapest of their option; In consequence, I was hopping to get the parcel in three months. The parcel got to my country in Central America in two months. Due that it did not come with a track number, it skipped the tax customs postal office. Very happy.
This business decided to close my account and steal all of my packages, I don't really know what else to say. They never even made an attempt at contacting me at any point in time, just straight up stole my stuff (AND fund balance). This was right after a supposed storm in Minden (BS, I bet they stole a bunch of people's crap and are shutting down)
They made a mistake on my shipment and ended up blaming me for their mistake. The customer service is awful. Don't even waste your time with the chat support because the agent will tell you to email customer support. Their "COO" Jason Luong responded to my emails with the worst tone and attitude I've ever seen from a company.
Avoid at all costs! Not worth the risk and the headache of dealing with this company.
Thanks to the new option to have your consolidated goods packed in a box, that is optimized in size for the actual need by the staff at Shipito, it is now soo much easier and quicker to use the service. Thank you for that! The cost for the actual delivery will of course also drop a few notches, which is greatly appreciated.
I only gave it one star because you have to but they don't even deserve that! I live in France and was looking for a shipping solution because I ship stuff regularly from the states. The first two times I used this service all went well but after that nothing but inconveniences and money lost. My package didn't get to me and was sent back to their warehouse and they refused to reimburse me. I lost $100. That's SHIPITTO! You suck!

Shipito is fast secured and reliable l wasn't expecting this kind of service since am from africa and Shipito is in the USA but no barrier it went smooth my product was received safely without and damages mind you it was fragile thank you Shipito
Take out insurance before using this service. Stole most of my items posting only some lesser valued items. Then disgusting customer service. No expression of interest in an explanation or apologies.

They take your items & your money, thankfully you can still open a Paypal dispute...
When my item arrived that their warehouse, I was told that my account was on hold & they wanted my credit card details. I found this very unprofessional & requested a refund of my money. The staff made it very difficult to get my refund, to the point that I had to open a paypal dispute. Only then did they refund me.
Why does Shipito give you the account & address, only to make it an impossible process to get your item sent to you there after.
This is a scam, I would suggest that everyone avoid them.
It was terrible service. The website was difficult to use and did not fully explain how to pay, what I would be paying or anything of the such. I am a school student who does not have that much money. My package as worth $40, and the shipping was apparently worth twice that! When I finally worked up the money to pay, my package that I received had items inside (makeup items) that had been torn and broken open. ALSO, it was a ridiculously light box and overly large for what was inside. If the box had of been smaller, my shipping would not have been so damn expensive!
Had Shipito forward 66 parcels to me between 2011 and 2015. Never had any issues. Now that I want to close my account am being given the run-around and getting nowhere. Getting sent from one department to another with no help in getting my funds refunded and the account closed.

I did a lot of research before using Shipito to ship a package from the US to Romania. They did everything promised - the size/weight that I calculated before signing up matched perfectly, the charge was exactly on point. I will absolutely use this service again and again.
Never as good value as it seems, communication is like talking to a 5-year-old and as much sense and logic. You select the most economic rate after consolidating packages and you get charged something unrelated.
If you live in a country like New Zealand and order goods from the USA, you are at a disadvantage when it comes to shipping.
However, Shipito enables me to have goods shipped to their location in CA and these goods( sometimes multiple packages can be combined and they will organise the freight options and also import duties if the goods are under a certain size and weight. They are extremely efficient and this efficiency is mainly due to their A1 level if communication. I bery highly recommend them to anyone wanting to take the hassle out of shipping.
