Despite having my own websites and a registered company they told me I was not qualified. I don't run any adult websites so I don't understand why I did not pass a quality review and know where they tell you the reason behind their decision or perhaps the company is registered to a black individual I don't know. But without transparency you would have to question a company's decision but they're not the only affiliate so move on to a better company one that doesn't play games.

I have been trying to complete 30 thousand dollars in affiliate fraud as a merchant that happened when we had a change in employment and leadership in our company. In the transition of our employees roles and responsibilities over the course of a week the affiliates were not being as carefully reviewed on our end. Only 7 or so fraudulent affiliated were accepted but the issue caused around 30K in fake sales that soaked up time on the fulfilment and supply chain allocation end as well as the countless hours to go and void each individual transaction after confirming with in our shopify system that the order was in fact returned or fraudulent. Because there is no real customer service and you have to redirect outside of your profile account to even file a ticket, it takes forever for back and forth and there is no notification to tell you you have a response you just have to go check it no matter what, terrible for work flow. I have asked 5 times for a phone call because I cannot get someone to answer their listed number. Today finally I was given available times they could schedule a microsoft meeting, still cant hop on a call. We have currently 7K is returned commissions that I don't know if those funds will get returned to us or if we have to file a suit against them for these funds that were auto billed during the affiliate fraud and not returned but are now showing as a credit to pay out other affiliates. Do not use Share a Sale they are terrible for merchants and they seem to have no accountability for the affiliates they give accounts too which I would think would affect actual affiliates negatively as well.
Waste of time. I've had one link that has been clicked nearly 200 times. It's an affordable shake product. And they're telling me - NOT ONE sale result. I've had many others clicked on. On my social media account, I have one post with over 200,000 views, 900 website clicks and 360 saves - but from that - not one sale/pay out.
The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it's free to use (no membership) and the interface is easy to learn. But you don't make ANY MONEY.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use it. Don't waste your time with affiliate marketing unless it's a website that gives advice on how to do affiliate marketing. i'm convinced, unless you're a celebrity, no one will buy anything from you. Waste of time. my site is www.thefeistyorange.com.
After finally getting approved to be on it, I got two sales. Then, before they would allow me to pull my money out, they declined my account. They do not care about the small guy trying to make a few bucks. They are thieves. Doubt that they will read this, but stay away from this company unless you are a big company.
Tip for consumers:
Don't sign up with this company

Hello, I have a new site https://paintrollersplus.net but have run a similar site for years. Would this be good for me as a painting supplies store? Any ideas.

Affiliate program
As a brand, we were with them for over a year and didn't see a single sale or any quality traffic driven by the affiliates on the platform, the vast majority of which seemed to be low quality coupon/discount type sites. They charge a significant upfront fee, and then monthly account fees even if they are not bringing any revenues to you. Wish we had never joined. Would not recommend.
Upon applying just got a "no" from a "Peyton" who then later blocked my email upon asking why.
Acceptance of the Application Form is subject to the sole discretion of ShareASale.com Inc., of 15 W. Hubbard St. STE 500 Chicago IL *******, an AWIN Group Company ("ShareASale"). Acceptance or rejection of the Application Form will be notified to the proposed Publisher by email.
ASK YOURSELF PROFESSIONALLY:
Do you want to do business with people who don't have the decency to explain themselves and are reluctant to further assist with their own product?
Wast of money, theres a reason the set up fee is non refundable. Didn't get one sale in about 5 months of accepting every affiliate.
This company will charge you $650.00 upfront fee and they do not discuss any other fees but you keep getting charges to your account for no reason at all. It is impossible to get anyone over the phone and there is no live tech support. Big Rip Off. Stay away!
Tip for consumers:
STAY AWAY or you will regret it like me. I spent close to a $1000.00 to get $20.00 in sales. this program is a scam that only make shareasale rich.

Shareasale is a program that suppose to send buyers to your site via the affiliates. They ask for your bank info but do not inform you that they will charge you periodically on top of the $650.00 they charge you upfront.
Run as fast as you can from this company and anyone who recommends it. All they do is promise what they cant deliver and then refuse to let you cancel or refund the funds they continue to charge you with. CROOKS. Also if you happen to catch any of them on the phone all you will here is "i dont know"
What?

Made 6 sales in a week for a company that was supposed to do a $200 commission per sale. I was excited when my account racked up to $1200 of income the first few days! But the next business day after the weekend all those payouts mysteriously read, "VOIDED". The company kept the sales and took all the commissions away from me! Now either ShareASale nor the merchant won't answer my emails or phone calls!
ShareASale is currently the most popular cpa network and it is number one on my list of Top CPA Networks here. http://thesearcherslist.blogspot.com/2015/07/top-cpa-affiliate-networks_7.html
This site has nothing to offer besides endless coupon websites. People were already going to purchase your product without this website. Save your money and use a free shopify plugin and find your own affiliates this platform was a huge waste.
I had sales under the merchant Stylevana but did not get any commission. Opened tickets on all of them and was told they would get in touch with stylevana but heard no more. Kept requesting information and got nothing. They then closed all tickets without being resolved. Not happy at all.

If you need help you may as well talk to a brick wall.
I joined shareasale many years ago, because it was parasite-free unlike the other big networks at the time, cj and linkshare. I liked the merchants on the network and used to make regular sales. I never made a lot of money but I usually got a check.
Then, it seemed like everything just stopped. No sales at all, no matter how I promoted or how many clicks were registered. So I went away from shareasale (and all affiliate marketing) for a while. A few months ago, I decided to try shareasale again. I added tons of very, very targeted niche links and banners. I joined one company selling ADHD supplements and made two nice sales in the first week. I was encouraged. Then, nothing. And I mean, NOTHING. One day, I registered over 400 unique hits to various merchants, mostly to an audiobook account. NO SALES. Then, those hits just stopped too. So, I moved the main links off my homepage, since they didn't seem to be helping me anyway and clicks were way down from the first few days. Since then, my hits have gone down because I removed those links from my homepage. Even so, I'm still registering some hits every day but no sales.
I feel like something is not as it should be. I don't know how to get to the bottom of it. There is really no way in shareasale to verify whether or not sales have happened through my id. I just feel something is wrong. So... considering removing all the shareasale links again. I'm sad about it because there are several merchants in that program that I really like and would like to promote their products. I plan to leave links up for another month but after that, unless something changes, I will regretfully leave shareasale promotions once more.
This is just a typical scam where they make you think and see that you are making money and when you try to cash out thats when they will hold or freeze your money dont bother guys i almost got sucked into this before looking farther into it from everything ive gathered its a scam
I have had nearly $40,000 in sales that generated 0 income. People call me about problems with their orders (i am an affiliate so I don't fulfill), yet shareasale doesn't acknowledge any order- they don't repsond to emails and are basically sam artists - avoid them like a a bad STD...
Literally the worst user interface I have ever come across. Horrible customer service and the partners they have a really aren't that great. It's absolute BS.
Don't waste your time with this site. I did everything correct on my website 2x's and was approved. Then went back a couple days later to see my website was rejected... These people are scammers as I can see when reading the reviews from affiliates who are being scammed out of their commissions. So glad I did not get trapped into thinking they were honest people.
I signed up a few years ago which I was premature in having things in order. They did a system upgrade around 11 months later which my account was gone. They would not acknowledge I had already paid and signed up the account and gave me the runaround. They would not provide a new account or refund me for my old account. Service and Support were dismal in all cases and I got scammed out of money.
I had no doubt that they took more commissions than us because the first years all worked very well I had a good income, but since this year I have almost nothing and yet it has so many people who buys. Looks like the more money you make and the more they take away... I have been with the company for 4 or 5 years and now I am so disappointed
1) It is impossible to find any reputable advertisers I registered as an affiliate. There is a search engine, but no categories.
2) Too many Marketing corps registered as Merchants.
3) Merchants are looking for free promotion on a website which offers traffic and advertising of their pages; hence, free-riding at affiliates expense.
4) Nasty technical support.
5) Reasons to decline an application do not have to be accurate as per Jesse

BloomTHat is a merchant with its email on a marketing server of www.accelerationpartners.com.
Alex, I don't believe this is an accurate representation of the network in general. Are you referring to an experience you had with BloomThat, who appears to have declined your application?
There are over 5,000 retailers, and admittedly some will run better programs than others but they do not get free promotion it is based on the performance of your traffic and thus conversion of leads and sales. If you want to discuss your account or anything specific to your account or Merchants that you have attempted to partner with, let me know anytime at brian@shareasale.com
ShareASale is a retail focused Performance Marketing Network with over 3,500+ different offers to choose from as an affiliate. Affiliates can sign up and promote any merchant they wish for free.
Neva - I responded to your contact as well, I'd be happy to look at this specifically on your account if you want, I left my email address in that comment field.
