This site makes any other site I have tried look like heaven. I got great guys from all over the country but nothing in town. They kept sending me notices that my profile was now active! I think they stay in business by not matching you with anyone within 300 miles! You have to redo the search each time because on this over 50's dating site-they start the search at 18 years old. Isn't that sort of creepy?
I believe this site is one huge scam! I signed up for only a month fortunately. Received many, many messages from men and the message was all the same! Wanting to get together, take me out to dinner and they were in another country or across the other side of the US! I cancelled my subscription immediately.
I had been on the P. O. F. (Plenty of Fish) free online dating site for years. The Senior SoulMates banner kept flashing on the POF site. I clicked on it and joined for free. I found that messages were scrambled and unreadable. The site kept asking for money to be able to read messages. Tired of the site, I deleted my profile. Then I found that my profile on POF had been deleted as well! They are obviously linked. Now my current online social life is ruined. I didn't save the stuff I had written, and can't remember what I put on there. I have no idea how long they have kicked me off for. What a rip off scam!
I'm non paying member of Senior Soul Mates, yet I get multiples of mail, I have 276 messages yet only 116 people have viewed my profile. Its also interesting that I get mail from women 22 years olds, not sure what thats all about. So I really have to wonder what kind of scam there running. Beware before you pay. So far Ive had great luck with POF and thats a freebie site. Update, canceled my profile, so just for fun, made a new profile name, no descriptions, no pictures, virtually nothing, so far I have 76 messages. 27 matches, 36 viewed meWTF there is nothing there. Save your money
What a scam, and they are good at it, must have preprogrammed scripts to use vow undying love until you say sorry won't send money then they suddenly disappear.
Fortunately, I only signed up for a month. I only received about a week of that month. Do I feel lucky? NO!
