This was the first time I'd purchased glasses over the internet, so I checked the SelectSpecs website and all the online reviews. This satisfied me enough to give them a try; I was not disappointed! The online form was simple to complete, and you can also upload a scan/photo of your prescription for their optometrists to double-check. The one bit of additional info they need is the distance between your pupils (for sizing the frames); this can be done easily with a ruler and a mirror (some apps can also do it for you via your phone). The glasses ordered arrived in a sturdy plastic box and black polythene packaging in about 1 week. I bought the cheapest frames, and with the lenses coming with 2 free coatings, the all-in the cost with postage was around £25; absolutely amazing price compared with high-street opticians! The glasses are great, perfect fit and amazingly clear lenses. Would use the site again

To date I have purchased 4 pairs of prescription glasses and I am pleased with the wide range and prices. They do feel a bit plastic, but they are nice and light and I will definitely be purchasing more pairs from Selectspecs.

Well I was a bit skeptical initially but boy was I surprised. I messed up the order and they set it right and made the most beautiful glasses. I could not ask for a better service or company. And then the price is a absolute steal compare to all the expensive glasses I have had before. I took my prescription to select specs to purchase some new glasses and was immediately impressed by the range of styles in both budget and designer ranges. The service was friendly and efficient and within 20 minutes I had ordered 3 pairs, two spectacles and one sunglasses for under £150. I wanted a pair of aviator sunglasses and tried on a designer pair and an own brand pair and preferred the latter. One of the pairs of spectacles was a designer brand. I was told they may take up to four weeks to arrive but had two pairs within the week and the third arrived a couple of days later.

Great service and prompt delivery, could have done with the bridge being a bit wider,(about 5cm more would have been great) but I knew that they were only 18mm bridge, still good vision will try for different model with wider option next time, absolute bargain, more coming soon, thanks again, Peter.

Have purchased a number of glasses from selectspecs over the years. I like the idea from a practical as well as fashionable point of view that the wide choice of frames and the amazingly fair frame +lens prices allow. The workmanship on the ordered glasses is first rate, the delivery has always been prompt and in this day of poor online customer service this company offers, against all odds, a spectacularly good service raport with its customers. I'm not getting any younger but my contiuned choices of selectspecs glasses continue to mirror a young hearted customer.

I had a great experience with my order. I ordered a pair of Oakley currency frames, satin black finish. The ordering process was easy and I received my order in a reasonable amount of time. The same amount of time that it would have taken a local optometrist to deliver the glasses for me. The real difference is that I paid half of what it would I would have paid locally. The products are genuine as well. No knockoffs. I have a strong prescription and I ordered thin lenses and was very pleased with them. Keep in mind that you're dealing with a company in England, so customer service can be a little spotty because when you call them in the United States it's night time over there. But, I received good responses via email. Also, make note that your bank might charge you a foreign transaction fee since it's a company in England. My fee wasn't very much, I think it was like $5. Anyway, overall great experience, will definitely order from them again.
