Definitely ordering more!

I've had the blinds for a couple months now and I love them! Having the up/down option feels like such a luxury and they have continued to glide beautifully. No snags, still supported, and all that good stuff. My partner was the one who installed the blind but he said it was easy! We just had a big snow here and some cold weather. I lifted the blind up and the different in temperature was immediately noticeable, so five stars on helping to keep the house comfy.

I started off with just one blind before making a bigger investment. Well, hopefully these don't get discontinued any time soon because I am definitely going to get more for the rest of the windows in the living room and then slowly get these for all other rooms in the house.

In selecting which direction the blind should be rolled, I was only considering the physical proximity of the blind to the wall, and did not realize that the print was only on one side. Since it is glued to the roller, I dare not try to switch roll direction.

Easy, Peasy, Lemon Squeezy

I recently ordered black Roman shades from Select Blinds and I am beyond impressed! I got some with a blackout liner and others with a standard liner, and both are fantastic. The blackout shades work wonders for keeping the light out, and the standard liner ones look just as beautiful. They fit perfectly in my windows, and the quality is top-notch.

Measuring for the shades was super easy. I followed the step-by-step guidelines and watched the helpful videos, which made it foolproof. Installing them was a breeze too! With just a few simple tools, it took me around a minute per window.

I am so happy with how they turned out and even more thrilled with how affordable Select Blinds is. I saved hundreds compared to other brands and still got amazing quality. Entire order was about $1500, all of the blinds were shipped with inside mount hardware even though I clearly marked off the need for outside mount hardware for 2 of the blinds.

Mistakes happen, that's ok. I'll just call and get the replacement shipped. Not so easy!

First call, requested expedited shipping, guy says that's not necessary, he did promise outside mount hardware will arrive in a week. A week goes by and no hardware.

Second call, girl promises expedited shipping, 2 weeks and still nothing.

Third call, girl says there was communication mix up and she sees FedEx shipping generated from day before and should arrive. Hardware finally arrived after 3 weeks. Meanwhile project was half complete during the entire time.

A $1500 purchase experience soured by hardware that most likely cost less than $5.

I was skeptical at first buying blinds online for my windows that are all different sizes and no standard sizes. I triple measured everything and bought them online. Every blind for each window was a PERFECT FIT and easy to install by myself before my husband got home. They look great and are sturdy. One minor adjustment that could be made: each "project" (window measurement) online allowed you to name it in order to know what room each was going in. However, when the boxes came with each blind in their own box, there was nothing to distinguish between them like the names of the room it's in as I labeled online. This would not be a problem if you have all the same size windows or extremely different sized windows. On the other hand I had two windows with almost an inch difference in size and had to hold them together to see which was a tiny bit shorter to distinguish which room it goes in. Other than that small matter, the overall experience was amazing!

Blinds went up quickly. Had to secure a few where the pressure install clips seemed loose.
Little concerned about the housing for the string that pulls your blinds up and down. Fingers crossed they last a long time. A lot of money I just thought it would be a little stronger retractable box.

Awesome blackout

Easy to install, versatile and most important it's pitch black in my bedroom. Should have ordered sooner, so happy I did order and installed it myself. Now I sleep like a king without any lights or sunlight coming into my bedroom. Be advised, the blackout will make you sleep longer and peaceful.

25 days and still no blinds.

I orsered one blind for the bathroom. It was sent with the wrong mounting brackets. I had to send multiple pictures to convince the tech that it was in fact, the wrong brackets and not me being unable to follow the installation instructions. They are sending out new parts, but they can't be expedited because, they just don't do that, so I'm still waiting to have a working blind. I hope they send the right bracket this time. Which I will have to replace. Still no notice they have shipped.

We were disappointed in the quality.

We have been buying from SelectBlinds for 15 years for our 3 different residences. This is the first time that I was disappointed with the quality of the shades.
This time we bought vertical shades and they are cheaply made and difficult to install.
I like the fact that they are not heavy and easy to open and close.
Next time I need blinds I will probably look of a different vendor.
