This company scammed me of $49.98. They charged my debit card without my consent. I received information from the jail that my son was in, and I followed the directions they gave me, and I was informed that I have to set up an account in order to speak with my son while he is incarcerated. I set up the account not knowing that they would immediately took $49.98 off my debit card. They never put the money on my son's account. After several attempts to speak with someone, I realized that I got scammed. It's a shameful thing that those we put our trust in for help in a desperate time such as now, they are dirty scammers.

This is a big scam, just when you are frantic to talk to a prisioner. Don't even think about using them. The jail laughed when I tried to inform them of the "special phone number".

I wanted to talk to my wife in Lexington Ky Fayette county jail and you took my money 45$ and I have never talked to her I think this is a a scam

They will take your money and will not give it back. SCAMMERS. Charge you before you even can make a call and lie to you about terms of service. TERRIBLE PEOPLE!

I was misdirected to their site, created an account NOT TO MAKE CALLS but to send an inmate funds... when I went to use their drop down search for inmate bar I knew I was on a scam site because it showed the inmate was not there. In fact it showed lamar County as literally having NO INMATES! I forgot they required my debit info during the account creating... that's where the con is... and got off the site immediately NEVER having consented to even a single transaction. After I had dinner I decided to check my bank account, it's Christmas so I keep a close eye on my money right now, and was shocked to see my balance was lower than it should've been...because there was a charge for over 45 dollars! Sure enough I found I had an email receipt from them for a calling account I never wanted or even looked at. And when I tried their own link to reach them at the bottom it came back as a bad url! I can't find a way to delete my account and used their support email thing. Ha! Screw that! I called my bank and opened a fraud case against them! It's a major pain to have to get a new debit card... but to get my money reversed to my account, and be certain it can never get hit from them again, it's worth it.

*Check out how they tell you via email NOT to contact your bank. Of course they'd not want anyone to do that! Talk about snakey business ethics!

This company is a total scam. I only gave a 1 star because I had rto rate. They offer a lower rate, when in fact their services don't even work with the jails or prisons. They charged my card $45.98 and when I asked for a refund, they charged me $14.95 to cancel services that do not even work. I will be contacting my lawyers for a class action.

This site is a scam they charge your card without telling you they are going to and then when you call them they tell you that they can only refund you 30. Of the 45. You just sent them without even knowing you were sending them money. They have a 15. Non refundable payment. It's really bull crap because when you call they tell you it's in their terms of service but i never clicked anything agreeing to any terms of service… i will do everything in my power to bring this company down. They woke the sleeping dragon. It's unethical and completely illegal.

Really bad business! DONT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL DO WHATEVER THEY NEED TO GET YOU TO BUY INTO THEIR SERVICE. THEY ARE BAD, BAD, VERY BAD! Don't do it.

They don't tell you charges, charge your $45, then only refund $30. They claim that you can use them at any jail site, but that is a lie.

I think we need to start a class action suit against this company for fraud. Anyone interested? The pointless emails and rude customer service is upsetting!

I wanted to put money on my son's account and had to sign up with this company. Unaware of the charges, I gave them my credit card information and they took $50 out and NEVER activated my sons account. They said all the fees were on their website, but its not! After several emails, they said I could get a partial refund but they were going to charge me $14.99 to do so and take 3 weeks. So, now I'm out all this money and still haven't gotten to speak to my son in over 2 weeks!

My bank declined my card. 3 times. Fraud dept said they do not do business wit securtel.us
Will not be using them.

Horrible...wasted 4 hours of my life trying to get their "special" number to work with securus, tried to get a refund but of course they keep 15.00 of it. The next week tried again, wasted another 4 hours and still despite numerous emails and calls and videos, still doesn't work. Awful customer service and company

They are scammers BEWARE they charged my card $45 without even asking, then won't even give it back they keep begging me to stay they keep giving me the run around then all of a sudden today they're telling me hey we will give you back some but not all and I'm like wait what then there like it's our terms what! You didn't read them Ummmmmm NO how could I talk took my money out my account before I could sign anything or get to a page to read anything so count your days if anyone else was scammed by this company let's get them out of business this isn't ok taking advantage of people doing rough times like this smh it's not ok at all they need to pay and pay me back and everyone else they stole from and how is the BBB allowing this like how I really need answers

I went to their website which does not have a phone number listed. When I searched for the number online, they do not return phone calls. They also do not advertise the plans and the cost of the plans. They ask you for your credit information and immediately after, they process the payment through with a plan(45.98) that they have selected for you. They tell you in their"contract" that you will be allowed to pick a plan and the minutes. It's all fraud. I have contacted the local police department and filed a complaint with BBB. I advise any and all to do the same. My bank is issuing me a new card. They are desperate for money, that's why they pretend that you have authorized the amount for 45.98. What legitimate company begs you to stay with them after you have contacted them via email to tell them that you don't need and or want their services, after they have taken money off a card which you did not authorize. Scam! Scam! I am not the only one saying this. Do not bother with them. They are not creditable and they give you a phone number to place calls which I never used as I saw others online saying the telephone number they assign does not work.

So this site is set up to look like the actual jail securus so DO NOT USE THIS SITE as this site is not the correct site go to securus as that is the way to go. You will loose 14.99 and not even get to speak with your loved one. This site is trash and if I could give zero stars I would. If you will read this and listen you will save yourself a lot of trouble and time as this site does not even have a contact number to get a hold of someone on you have to respond via email and it is horrible.

First of all it was the wrong website they have similar names when I signed up they charged me $45.68 I didn't purchase anything or have any calls etc. So I emailed and called an requested a refund after seeing it was the wrong site they won't give me refund they're begging me to keep the services I keep saying no thank u and they keep begging also they can't even tell me what I was charged for it's a scam honestly I will be reporting to BBB and filing a dispute then they want to charge me for refund after being told it was an accident
