I choose to build a custom system, even though it was the first time I had ever bought a security system. It seemed to be straight forward, with all the drop downs and choices, but I still made mistakes with choosing all the connections and cables. My 150' power, video, and voice cables came with an A/V end for the video, when I needed a Coax.
Not to sure I'm comfortable with,"Made in China" on all the equipment.

Overall, so far very excited to get the system up and running and am happy with the system.

Quick and easy, wish you gave me a "signature NOT required" during checkout. I received a miss delivery, because I was at work. Had to take time off work to try and catch the delivery person. And UPS delivery schedule is as they say sometime before 8 PM.

Website caught me in an endless loop

Website caught me in an endless loop. Edited shipping/billing but could not click checkout. Had to clear cache and start over. Order says completed.

BNC connectors aren't spaced far enough apart on the 16 ch Dvr to make connecting cables easy. Actually, they were very close to each other. Much closer than previous devices I've used. Phone app for remote viewing is good. Configuring can be interesting.

Having bought 13 cameras and installed 5, found one to de defective. Did contact the support department and was immediately was sent the corresponding RMA. I'm in the process of returning the damaged camera. We'll see that develops. If it's the same way I've been treated until, I'll be very satisfied.

Painless-had to order additional cameras from Best Buy and the recommended cable was different and did not work. Luckily, the additional cable that was provided with the new camera was correct. The system should give you the ability to order additional cameras and advise the buyer that cable is included.

First time on this site

First time on this site. And I purchased the item and attempted to get some technical support because my assisting cameras did not come up. To this date (8/15/2016) I haven't heard anything from the technical support personnel. Now, I must say that I am impress with the site but there isn't enough D-I-Y instructions that can assist a novice. Could it be that this site is for professional companies requiring installations, ONLY.
A little disappointed with the technical support. With that said, "Thank you!"

You need better quality control/final inspection

You need better quality control/final inspection. Three of the four cameras I purchased were fine, but one camera was not assembled properly. The camera lens was not centered in the opening and is partially hidden behind the ring. I know that fixing it myself will void any warranty.

Loved the ease of set-up!

Loved the ease of set-up! Very straight forward system and I am by no means a IT person.
It's also a good feeling to know that you can make a "local" phone call or on-line live chat for Technical Questions/Customer Support.

Overall experience was excellent. The only issue that caused concern was that I paid by paypal and got a receipt from paypal but no real acknowledgement from you. It left me worried that my order didn't go thru.

Be careful when you go too far through the order process, because the web order interface has a glitch and won't allow you to delete orders that you haven't completed for whatever reason. I simply wanted to wait a day before placing the order, and ended up starting a new Cart with the same items and went through checkout. Then, in my order history, I saw duplicates of uncompleted orders marked as "New (Not Finished)", which I could not remove from the list. Chatted online with them, and they didn't know how to do it either. Probably a web site issue done by other folks besides the tech sales guys, which are AWESOME.

All was well with ordering, quality and delivery, however I never received a copy of an invoice. Perhaps it flashed on the screen and I failed to print it, assuming that a copy would be e-mailed to me. Not a major issue since I used PayPal as method of payment and was able to get proof of payment from them.

Am very happy with the product.

I didn't realize that the 4 cameras that I ordered did not have 3 degrees of adjustment. Most of our existing domes are wall mounted and when I aim them left or right, the image is no longer level. When I order the next batch, I'll make sure the are fully adjustable.

These DVRs are premium and have options that low priced DVRs don't even mention, like intelligent searches for things that happen. Without that, a lot more time is needed to review and find what happened after an occurrence.

And the company is here in the US and can speak English as a first language. That alone is a big deal as most of the others are made and sold from the Chinese and support is very sparse to the point of normally being worthless. They also want us to be happy with our purchase, like me, and come back for more.

Nice product descriptions

Nice product descriptions. I love the joy stick selection of the type of resolutions. I aligned it with my analog wrist monitor and then switched over to digital TVI.
The installations went as planned. Everything is great!

I have been pleased with all aspects of the service and products I have received from this vendor. When I had an issue the helpdesk returned my call and helped me get my system back working with all my cameras. I just expanded my system to six POE IP cameras. They are work well. My only issue is the lack of instructions available. The product OEMs need much better documentation.
