I was prompted to register with your site to be able to leave my comment. With a large quantity of information requested, I quit the process.
This survey was easier to complete.
My complaint is that I never really got a credit card receipt for my purchase so I had issues reconsiling my expense report and had to use my order confirmation as a receipt to try to meet my companies requirements.
I guess my approach was acceptable as my expense report has not been rejected yet!
The camera's we purchased should be priced with and include power supplies - OR - somewhere in the description let people know they NEED to ORDER a power supply with the camera and have a power supply listed on the accessories tab on the page camera page. I would have been happy to buy the power supplies if I knew they didn't ship with the cameras. Now we're paying an extra $46 for expedited shipping on 2 $7 power supplies to meet a deadline. UPDATE: Security Camera King did update their website to include that these cameras Do Not ship with power supplies, that they are purchased separately and added the power supply to the individual camera's Accessory tab. What they failed to do is offer to let us pay for the power supplies, but cover the second $46 shipping charge that we should not have incurred. That still gives them lower mark's for customer service. Their tech support people have been very helpful getting these cameras setup to run on our system.

I feel i was incorrectly sold on my first order. I had to return and make a second purchase and the sales person wasn't a lot of help. The staff tries but i still feel like i need to do all my own research before buying, instead of a sales person getting me the right product. I just know i can not trust an employee to really get me the product i need.
My product shipped without the hard drive I ordered. I was assured the hard drive would be installed and tested before shipped. Then I received the order with no hard drive. Then I thought I was going to be shipped a complete unit with the hard drive installed. Instead I was shipped only a hard drive. Now I have to install the hard drive my self in an untested unit. I had the chance to purchase a 2 terabyte system from Parts Express but I went with Tech Pro. I won't be doing this in the future. Not Satisfied.

The shopping experience was great This Is my second unit can't remember when I got the first I'll put the date on this one. It would be nice if they sold parts for there product as my DVR failed because of the fan and power supply don't know what took out what but I'll find the parts and use it for a spare.
We are still in the process of installing our 24 camera system, but I have extremely pleased with the prices and technical support I have been given. The new cameras and NVR are a significant upgrade from what we had. The dome camera running through our 64 camera NVR is absolutely amazing! It sees everything within a 360 radius and allows a tremendous amount of flexibility in viewing. The only minor glitch I encountered was my fault: I ordered several of the pre-made 100 foot Ethernet cables and they all work fine except the ones that I cut in half and put new RJ45 connectors on. The wire in the pre-made cables is lighter than regular cat 5e and it is very difficult to put a new end on and get it to work. Bottom line is, don't try to cut the cables, just leave the excess coiled out of sight.
I enjoyed the experience very much. I was able to go online with securitycameraking.com, find the product, put in the order and received the product quickly. This allowed me to finish the job quickly and efficiently.
Ordered small order 2 passive video baluns online...did not get email confirm from you bothing...waited 5 days then phoned ordered again...then phone order confirm came through along with first order that you couod not find. So I paid twice? Only received 2 baluns so far maybe it was corrected I would like to know..
Fair prices. Quick shipping. Be prepared to not see any updates on your order status until AFTER your items arrive. If you email SCK they'll send you a tracking number but I just wish they behaved like virtually every other ecommerce website on the planet and update the order status ASAP and send you an email with the tracking number.
I ordered a really great camera with audio and paid. Then I emailed them to ask if it comes with the cable. They said no.
I said, then add the cable and I paid for the cable.
When it arrived, I noticed that the camera has three cables but the 50ft. Cable only has two with no RCA Jack's for audio!
I emailed the question of why? They emailed me back saying that you only need two cables if you have there digital DVR.
Why would they assume this because I don't have there DVR!
There would not have been a problem if they would have just asked in advanced or better yet send the cable that's an exact match to the camera they sold me!
They've made no effort to fix there mistake!
VERY DISAPPOINTED!
I was having trouble with the website in that I would have to refresh the page several times to get the page to load. I only had to order two different things, but it took a while because the pages wouldn't load. The checkout process seemed to go well. For some reason, I had to reenter my Paypal info, but overall it was easy.
I called about my order after 3 days to find out why it hadn't shipped and was told that the DVR was back ordered. I decided to purchase else where and when I called back the same day to have the DVR removed from the order and was told the order would ship complete with the DVR that afternoon. There was no communication to me as to why the order was not shipped in a timely manner. I understood that the order would ship within 1 business day.
I had to call to followup on this order 3 different times since I placed the order on-line. There was no timeline given and when I called to see if it had shipped, I was told they weren't sure what was going on. They then told me to expect a call back from the supervisor. I had to call back in 2 hours later to see what the hold up was.

One issue_ I was advised that I had not completed my order online and that it had not been processed. So I ordered the same items again. Only to find out the first order had been processed./ So I received everything twice and was billed for everything twice.
S.C.K has some of the most knowledgeable and friendly people in the business. They also now their products which you cannot say about bestbuy or HomeDepot.
Shipping costs were a little excessive. Other then that I have been a very satisfied customer o Security Camera King and do all my purchases from them.
Good service, items arrived at time as expected. Now testing the camera, lot of features, internet ready, gorgeous Android app, works really fine. Access control board under testing now.
