I got two MLB game thickets and prices are cheaper than MLB.com. I had great seats with inexpensive price. Minor problems are each game thicket deliver differently. I was able to print out thickets in one game and need to use mobile app in other game. I thought it was a little confusing.
My grandson bought seats to a Cowboy NFL for his father for a birthday present. The seats were purchased in September, but by November seats were selling at twice the price. When the family arrived at the Cowboy's stadium from SC, the seats were not there. I am sure Seat Geek double sold his tickets for the higher price and he and his family were left out in the cold since the stadium was sold out. Yes Seat Geek offered the money back, but his exciting fun time with his father was ruined. He was disappointed, embarrassed and sick. To add to this, there were about 5 other groups with the same problem and this was just at one gate. Bad form, Seat Geek, really bad form.
Bought tickets for an NFL playoff game, the purchase was confirmed by SeatGeek, and the money was taken out of my account. A few days later I got an email saying the seller had canceled his tickets--supposedly because the ticket prices had spiked and he could make more money off of them. If I had known a seller would be allowed to do this, I never would have bought the tickets from this site but would've gone to a different site and paid $20-30 extra to have a more secure purchase. THe tickets are now double what I paid and I had to cancel travel arrangements I had already made. This is unethical that a business would allow this kind of thing to happen. There should be a better system in place where a seller cannot take back tickets. Ridiculous. Not pleased with this experience whatsoever. I would not recommend purchasing tickets from this site.
I absolutely love how Seatgeek finds the absolute cheapest tickets by using prices from all these different websites. For 6 dollars I got great seats. The value of these seats is incredible, club access and you can see the emotion on the outfielders faces since you're so close. Seatgeek came in with the clutch with the tickets
Sometimes my experience has been a little fuzzy... People spill things in my seats and then sometimes from above if I happen to be underneath. But overall it was a great feeling with some excitement upon various situations throughout the game. What I like most was the ease of getting my seats and now that I am understanding... I can pick and choose where I want or where I can afford to be.
Don't use SeatGeek! Spent $500 on hockey tickets that I bought as a Christmas gift for my family. 5 out of 8 tickets didn't work. Showed that they were already scanned and used. Customer service was no help. Shady people making a buck and Seat Geek is the store front. DONT TRUST. DONT USE! NOT WORTH IT!
Hi Ceci,
Thanks for getting in touch, and our apologies for the inconvenience.
You should reach out to the vendor who you purchased the tickets from to facilitate your refund. SeatGeek is a ticket aggregator, so we display tickets but do not own them and are not responsible for delivery. Since we did not own any tickets ourselves, we did not provide you with invalid tickets. That being said, you should definitely reach out to the vendor who sold you invalid tickets to provide your refund.
If you're unsure of the vendor you purchased from there are two ways that work well:
(1) look at your credit card statement to see which company charged you for the tickets, or
(2) look at the confirmation email you received when you made the purchase.
Hope that helps!
I am an avid Ticketmaster user, but SeatGeek was also very easy to use. Pricing was great, and the tickets were easily transferred without having to download additional apps. The recipient was very excited.
My only comment for improvement is related to dodger stadium itself. With the tickets I purchased we could only go through one specific entrance. Would be great if SeatGeek could alert us to the entrances to use after the tickets have been purchased.
Second time using SeatGeek/Yankee delivery method. Works well. Purchased the tickets the night before the game so always that anxiety when you receive the tickets. Especially when you need to get in the car and start driving from a distance to Yankee Stadium.
Terrible. So bad. Customer support will not help & i have had these tickets for 2 years and cannot resell them. I am not given any support they have just taken their money and does not care about the customer. DO NOT RECOMMEND
After ordering, paying and recieving a ticket to the Atlanta Braves game, I was turned away at the gate by the ticket scanners saying my ticket was invalid. The Braves ticket office tried to help, but found no record of my ticket in their system. The game was sold out so purchasing another ticket on site was impossible. No 800 number to resolve the issue and all I could do was text on some stupid chat site. The chat person was useless and I was left stranded outside the game. All I got back was an apology and a refund. Never mind the travel expenses. Awful experience. Never use them! You've been forewarned.
We used this site to purchase concert tickets. The floor plan didn't show where the stage was. It just had a box in the middle. Every other site we viewed had behind the stage on the left side. We thought it was the same here. WRONG! So we spent money on tickets behind the stage. As soon as we looked at the seating chart on another site we realized the error. We immediately contacted SeatGeek and received no help at all. I understand a no refund policy. However, your site is misleading. I only wish I would have read through all of the negative reviews before making the purchase.
Jenny! Thank you for your feedback and we apologize for the confusion. We're very proud of our interactive maps and we try to keep them as updated as possible with information available by the venue and the concert promoters. As a ticket search engine, listings get parsed and plotted along the map and it seems like there was a communication break down somewhere in the listing you purchased. We'd love to help you connect with the vendor you bought your tickets from and also look into what happened that lead to your negative experience. Please email us at hi@seatgeek.com and we can look into everything.
The seats were further back then they looked to be on the map but besides that the show was good. From now on when ordering on seatgeek
Ill take I to consideration that maybe your map of the venue is a bit off.
Hi Shane, thanks for letting us know about this! We're sorry if the map didn't seem accurate compared to where your seat was located in the venue. I've passed that onto our mapping team to check and see if they can make any improvements at this venue to better represent accurate seat location. We're happy to hear you still had a good time at the show!

I have purchased my Baseball tickets through SeatGeek for the last two seasons. I have never had an issue and will not purchase through any other App. Thank you SeatGeek for keeping your fees low so my daughter and I can enjoy our favorite sporting events.
Zero Stars Stay away from SeatGeek. Purchase from StubHub or VividSeats. I flew my wife across the country for a concert. Paid for tickets 2+ months ago. Day of show and no tickets. Support hides behind refund policy and blames venues for not releasing tickets. Purchased from a competitor and fulfilled immediately. First chargeback I have ever filed. Zero trust. Zero service. Stay away
I ordered two tickets for a basketball game in September for December. Tickets NEVER arrived. I called three times, only to be promised I'd get the tickets. On game day, they never came. I'm now trying to get my credit card to receive a refund. Don't trust Seatgeek!
My first time using Seat Geek. I didn't realize there were 2 type of tickets, box office and resale. The first group of tickets I bought I got to picked the seats (I found out these were box office seats). I attempted to buy the corresponding seats in the row in front so our large party were all seated in the same county... well you can't select seats on resale tickets, 'they' just state all the seats will be together. Long story short, the second purchase put half our party on the opposite end of the row. I sent an email complaint and Alex came back with a solution that got us all in the same row, but together at least, and took back the resell seats. Smart Customer Service practice. Gained a customer for Seat Geek!
SeatGeek is my go to app when I need tickets to a sport event. Its easy to use, the process is fast and the prices are always within my budget. I love how you can navigate through the venue and see the view of the seats you choose and the price for that seat. SeatGeek is awesome! I recommend this to all my friends.
Was able to navigate the website easily. Every action was fast. Purchasing the tickets were fast. I especially liked the "show fees" option so right away you knew the total cost and not at the end. A pleasure to use.
The process was confusing enough that I accidentally purchased tickets for the wrong day and when I called to try find a solution I was told I would be called back (twice) and never received any follow up. Extremely disappointing.
Answer: Shana is correct, Seat Geek takes no responsibility for tickets and have no customer service and will not return calls if things do not work out Stub Hub is much better
Answer: Hi Beth, Welcome to SeatGeek! In order to maintain our marketplace we do have fees, but we'll always show you a thorough price breakdown of your order before you can checkout. Plus, we've got options so you can actually search for tickets and see the fees included in the price from the get-go. Simply use the filter "Prices with fees" when searching for listings. You can read more about that here: https://support.seatgeek.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036685293 I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions-- Best wishes, SeatGeek CX Team
