1st time buyer, responded to a flash sale.
The order was put through as I was attempting to find area access to filling out bank routing number etc. prior to the customary payment confirmation. I called and also got cut off.(pattern?) I send an email to cancel. I get a return call and then, after the fact, I am told of the inflated cancellation fee's.(extortion). These facts should be prominently displayed during the process, not be surreptitiously discussed after the fact. Deceitful! They use an outside source for wire transfers. "Plaid" They required my user name and password to access my bank account. Absurd! Who is stupid enough to give personal banking information, on line no less? The inflated extortion fee's are also ridiculous. The trading of silver at the time was 10 cents less than I was charged, and they inflated considerably, the market movement upward to feloniously overcharge said cancellation fee. ( I can provide a snapshot for proof). This is the first time I have ever seen an order process prior to payment confirmation. Determine for yourself. Would you trust doing business with such a greedy and disingenuous company where you are not given the opportunity to back out with all these obstructions?
These obstructions came after the fact. It is a trap. (In my mind by design) Do not let yourself get trapped in this money grabbing ploy! This experience proves to me that "SD Bullion" is not an "above board" company. You as well?

Plaid enables us to utilize e-checks without our servers storing your bank account information. Instead the information is encrypted and tokenized.
It is much more secure than a customer typing their bank information into a website. Previously, if someone had a personal check account you had written them, they would be able to use the routing number and account number off the bottom of the check.
By using this service, it enables us to offer e-checks to more customers. Previously we were unable to offer a first time customer the ability to pay via e-check. Furthermore, we are able to ship orders faster as personal checks take time to arrive to us in the mail and bounced check time varies based on the bank.
Individuals who have established a history and reached threshold order amounts are still eligible to use the previous system we had in place.
If the system is not for you, we completely understand. We invite you to use one of the other seven payment methods we have available on SD Bullion.
We apologize for any cancellation fee confusion. We have cancellation fees because this is a live market business. Cancellation fees are calculated as 5% of the order total or $35, whichever is greater, plus any applicable market loss. Every customer must agree to these terms prior to submitting their order, whether they place the order online or over the phone with an agent.

Answer: Company charged me $50 fee because I filed credit card chargeback on the order that didn't arrive. Below is customer service message to me. Since when did company charge consumers $50 fee for filing a chargeback? I filed claim on BBB to resolve the issue. We received a charge back for this 07/09/2019. Since you were unwilling to follow our process for a lost packagewhich would have been much faster than filing a charge back a month lateryour account has been suspended indefinitely and a balance of $50 to cover fees imposed on us because of this unnecessary charge back is due.

Answer: We ship fully insured via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. The default shipping option would be selected by the shipping team in accordance with our insurance policies and efficiency.
