I recently saw an article involving my all time favorite game and how it should be more lgbtq relatable. The person who wrote the article OBVIOUSLY had not played game before or the original to make sure stupid remarks through out the entire article.
This person clearly just wanted their dumb article clicked on just for hits.
The people who allow such idiocracy to be put out there for the whole internet world to see should be ashamed to even be called journalist but hey that's how all "journalist" are these days. Uninformed and desperate.
(I am gay and I took offense to the article FYI)
Aside from ripping off small content creators, I don't even think they watch the things they post abt. For example, in the Arrowverse they put Alex Danvers ranked as a better fighter than Oliver Queen. What. The. Actual. $#*!. They also said Olicity is the best ship when it is just insanely toxic and unhealthy, Felicity seriously deteriorated after s2. The point is it's bull$#*!.
I read one of ur lists and that's when I lost respect completely. Ur list on character way more powerful than sasuke and naruto was dumb, poorly written and downright wrong. I felt like ur writer hadn't watched a single episode of naruto before even drafting the list. A big disapointment. Try and correct it.
After I watch a move or show, or play a video game, I have an opinion on it. Then I listen or read other opinions on it so I can understand more about it, and possibly enjoy the material more than I did before. So sometimes, when screenrant articles get recommended to me, I click it. And every time, it's abundantly clear the writer clearly hasn't even watched the show. It's either extremely lukewarm if they're praising it, or it's actively upsetting if they're criticizing something you love based on a wikipedia summary. As far as I can tell, this isn't the writers' fault, because they're given unreasonable deadlines, and really it's the company's job to vet their writers anyway.
So I'm saying that if your mood can be affected by infuriating articles, do yourself a favour and just block this site. If you're looking for a place with "fun" reviews, there's just so much better options out there.
Screen rant is a fun place for people to learn about cool easter eggs, however SPOILER ALERT! Watch the movie first. Even better watch ALL the movies, easter eggs may be fun cool connections about movies but they have another name, spoilers!
99% of screenrant's content is absolute hot garbage. The rhetoric gets tiresome a mere few sentences in. The catchlines that they cast out onto the interwebs never live up to the hype. Screenrant is like the internet's equivalent of JaMarcus Russell. They are NOT worth your time, trust me. Quality writing or entertaining content is scarce.
They have fake news. Their opinions, which I know are different and you can't change them, are really bad and their articles are horrific with almost no editing.
Screenrant legit wrote an article about how Carol Danvers needs to "take a lesson" from the men in the MCU. That honestly just speaks volumes for you. I doubt that the person who wrote the review actually hates women (but i could be wrong, SOMEONE came up with the idea) its just that you want you're clout, and you want to stir up drama. And thats honestly so sad. You have millions of followers, yet your accounts are so dead you need to create some drama off of a controversial topic (captain marvel/brie larson) honestly y'all need to take a hint. Deactivate your twitter, delete your youtube, and lastly erase any presence that you ever existed off the Internet
The things on there are %90 wrong, there is no way to comment either. If i hadnt watched come of the shows myself, i would've been terribly misdirected to believe this site's BS
Well for one they're constantly making up things.
They rarely put sources to anything.
And they're constantly making up problems in shows ot movies that aren't even problems or weren't problems to begin with.
I'd suggest firing most of their writers and hiring new more well thought out writers to overall make their site much more better.
Why don't they put up spoiler alerts? Spoiled numerous occurrences in a series for me with no warning! How dumb can they be? How do these writers not know what a spoiler alert is? I'll never use their site again no matter how much work they put into it based on this alone. If you care at all about not knowing what happens before you watch something, stay far away.
Screen rant is too bias, they talk about more about their opinions, then anything else and doesn't always have the right facts on certain things. They do have some good quality though like they good at the researching. But there are some articles that are unprofessional and give out spoiler with no warning.
One of my biggest laments in life is that I am forced to watch a Screen Rant video each week in order to watch the talented Ryan George do Pitch Meetings. If not for that, I would pay a small fortune to have this site wiped from existence, or at the very least from my browsing experience. This is complete garbage, fake news, clickbait, cow dung masquerading as journalism.
Literally just a bunch of idiots who don't understand tv shows but will still make dumb top 10's I don't like Mojo but even they make top 10'a better then these idiots stop showing these idiots give a better websites
So I looked up the age of an actor during their time at gossipgirl. The first line in screenrant 'review' had a major spoiler in the first line of the actors age. Really!?!?!?! Why add a major spoiler in line 1 and without warning. Wtf reads screenrant? No me EVER again. My first and last time. I'd give them a -5 if i could
Everything on this site is written from a political bias and nothing more than that. No honest reviews just pure political opinion.
Screenrant.com has some good, but I find myself very frustrated with it overall. Without any warning, some articles have spoiled the fate of certain characters, which is very unprofessional and is certainly annoying.
On another more personal note, I was just looking at a list for the best Power Rangers! On multiple lists, my favorite Ranger and childhood hero(along with Jason), Rocky, is constantly belittled by whoever's making them.
For those who don't know, Rocky was the very first Hispanic Power Ranger & the second Red Ranger. He was charismatic, funny, humble, a great friend and a very talented martial artist. Obviously an excellent role model for children, he definitely deserves more respect than what they have given him.
I would've preferred to give my complaints on their website, but with no comments section, this'll have to do.
Every article I've ever clicked on has taken forever to load because there's so many stupid ads, and once it does load it turns out to be written by someone who hasn't even watched the media they claim to be writing about. They'll point out "plot holes" that are answered within the same episode they are reviewing, or treat wild fan theory and fanon as legitimate storylines in canon. I mean I'll read an article on a site that supports itself by ads, but not a site that can't be bothered to actually make sure the stories are accurate and not just random fans trying to force their fanfiction on everyone else as canon, or stories that are written by someone who watched half of one episode of a 8+ season show and then has an opinion they feel they should get paid to share.
This isn't a place for breaking movie news or long-form journalism. What it is, is a passionate and active fan community. The "SR Originals" are my favorite. The writers on this site often find ways to write about shows and movies from angles I never thought of.
Answer: Not at all easy, customer service and management are horrible at communication and responding to emails.
Answer: It's a legal site, When I want to read late-breaking movie news, I'll visit the trade sites like Variety or Hollywood Reporter. However, when I want something fun, I go to ScreenRant. A lot of people hate lists and fun articles, and that is fine, but I would prefer fun stuff to endless regurgitation of the same stories over and over. For people who hate fun, there is always Deadline. For people who love to read fun stuff about movies and TV, ScreenRant is well worth the follow.
All the latest movie news, movie trailers & reviews - and the same for TV, too.
