They mistook jokes as actual bullying when it's not. Friends joke around with each other and tease one another. If you don't do that with your friends, you guys probably are just acquaintances at best.
I have to read Screen Rant articles for my film class and more often than not they make some outlandish claim intentionally demonizing or distancing a group in favor of some political or social movement. They just did this with the newest Pokemon games trying to make it seem like the games weren't accepting enough of LGBTQ+ while also having an article praising them for their LGBTQ+ representation. They turn something that is not divisive into something devisive and even contradict themselves. We just want to enjoy a learn about games, movies, etc. Stop trying to turn everything into a political or social movement.
They make up lies to fit their perspective, or blatantly ignore facts that would prove their statement wrong, which is pretty much the same as lying. They're pathetically ignorant, yet they act like they have actual Intelligence on the matter
Every article I've ever clicked on has taken forever to load because there's so many stupid ads, and once it does load it turns out to be written by someone who hasn't even watched the media they claim to be writing about. They'll point out "plot holes" that are answered within the same episode they are reviewing, or treat wild fan theory and fanon as legitimate storylines in canon. I mean I'll read an article on a site that supports itself by ads, but not a site that can't be bothered to actually make sure the stories are accurate and not just random fans trying to force their fanfiction on everyone else as canon, or stories that are written by someone who watched half of one episode of a 8+ season show and then has an opinion they feel they should get paid to share.
Actually this is one of the most inconsistent and illogical movie sites ever been. They have entire articles based on fan art & make it seem like it's legit movie news or "what if articles". Numerous headlines that have nothing to do with the subject at hand and articles that constantly contradict previous ones for REAL. Most writers have no idea what they are talking about. The epitome of fake fans, all just for clicks. When I want to read late-breaking movie news, Comics, I'll visit the likelihood sites like Variety or Hollywood Reporter. However, when I want something funny, I go to ScreenRant. A lot of people hate lists and fun articles, and that is fine, but I would prefer fun stuff to endless regurgitation of the same stories over and over again. For people who hate fun, there is always Deadline (what I love too). For people who love to read fun stuff about movies and TV, ScreenRant is well worth for the follow...
The best thing about Screen Rant is the diversity of opinions that the site has on a regular basis, which means that you get a lot of different POVs on the site. They also cover several shows/comics/movies that don't get any attention from other websites. I feel like every site can be criticized for valid things, but I see many people hating on Screen Rant (and on similar sites) because they read this or that opinion that they really hate. However, if you actually look on the site, there's usually another article written from someone else who feels differently and provides other POVs. As a fan, I love seeing my favorite things being talked about, and I love having my assumptions challenged by diverse opinions. I really like the site and it's a shame that it gets trashed on by fans who want to live inside an echo chamber.

Honestly itself was ok but the people sucks clickbait clickbait and clickbait another thing is everything in their post are wrong the last reason is the people are lazy they stole content from small creator and other websites
Not much serious reporting going on here, they appear *******@FilmClickbate on a regular basis which says a lot. There youtube stuff can be okay at times, but mostly just filler.
Screen Rant is always up to date with their reality tv news and provides an interesting angle on topics. I'll always use their website for entertainment news!
Unlike many other sites, they keep their content updated. Loved reading their in-depth news stories... Keep up the good work! Cheers!
Wonderful site to keep updated on a Variety of topics. It always puts a smile on my face to read their articles. They have a fresh perspective.
Absolutely click bait trash. Can not believe anyone gets paid to put this garbage out. The Office reboot April fools prank click bait nonsense popping up on my google feed was the last straw. I purposely sought out a website to review the shenanigans after that. Is there a way to permanently ban a website from your device like that device in that black mirror episode that blurs blocked people out?
Hi J. P., sorry to hear that you were duped by The Office reboot April Fools prank. Like many sites, we participate in April Fools day articles for fun but it's the only day of the year where we publish anything like that. We always update these articles at the end of the day to make it clear they were jokes and always include links and other hints within the text to tip readers off that it's an April Fools day post. That said, we have considered not posting these at all - as I can understand how we may have outgrown them in recent years (and that we have a greater responsibility than we did previously). A lot of our readers enjoy them but I'll take your feedback under consideration as we look to next year.
I would give 0 stars if I could. I frequently get adds for ScreenRant articles based on what movies, video games, ect. I enjoy... I almost always read the caption for any article before I read who published it, and 9/10 times I can guess if it's a ScreenRant article because they are spewing total $#*!e nonsense opinions. It is always clickbait just to rack up views because they pay people crap to write crap articles for them.
The articles and "reviews" are mean-spirited, dishonest, and unprofessional. It goes beyond opinion into actual hate and harassment. I used to read the articles and laugh at how stupid they were. One went too far. It was an undeserved attack on the show, characters, and actors. I will never read or visit the site again. I will also warn friends about it's polarizing content.
Screen rant is too bias, they talk about more about their opinions, then anything else and doesn't always have the right facts on certain things. They do have some good quality though like they good at the researching. But there are some articles that are unprofessional and give out spoiler with no warning.
Articles routinely have titles like "20 Things Everyone Got Wrong" and proceeds to list some vaguely related facts that are so very painfully obvious that saying "Everyone" got them wrong would be a complete lie. Major, climatic events that differed slightly between the book and movie are apparently extremely vague.
Imagine an entire website that lives on Clickbait. Desperately attempting to gain views by publishing identical articles that say the same thing, put on three different titles and there are three hit pieces. This news outlet puts CNN and FOX to shame.
They are not professional whatsoever in rankings, they have clear favourites and clear dislikes, this makes them biased.
Following on from the last point, when they have an opinion, they will never let up, they will poison people's opinions. This makes them bigoted
Finally, they lie and paint completely inaccurate pictures of something they want to "smear". This makes them bull$#*!, they should be thankful I can't give negative ratings.
I could list a dozen reasons why this site sucks, but just one example I can give is the time they made a list ranking ALL Godzilla films that only had 15 entries. There are over 30 Godzilla movies. A poorly written list that was only half finished; a small mercy considering every entry was needlessly listed on a separate page. Gotta get those clicks somehow, right?
Other articles and lists they produce exhibit the same shoddy work. I don't think I've ever read/watched a Screen Rant piece that wasn't clickbait and/or full of factual errors.
If I could give less than one star, I would.
Hey Weston, sorry to hear this. I'm not sure which article you read but we've got one on the site that covers 32 films - and ranks them accordingly. It's all on one page. Maybe it was an older list article on Facebook? There was a time where we promoted articles on FB and they were separated into about 5 pages but we haven't done that for awhile (before the date you posted your review). Either way, I'll take your feedback to the team.
Answer: Not at all easy, customer service and management are horrible at communication and responding to emails.

Thanks for the feedback Dean. We've definitely been trying to dial-back the way our articles were presented on social. To be fair, we appear less frequently on@filmclickbait than we used to!
