I tried Scoremaster for about 2 months. While is seems to be fine at first but I noticed a huge differences in my scores. The true test came when someone tried to open an account and I never received any alert that an inquiry to my credit report was made. Experian Boost saved me because it immediately notified me, which prompted to check. Someone was trying to open an account in a whole different state. I was able to notify the credit card company to flag it as fraud. So why am I paying for a service that doesn't even work, and get Experian free and it works.
There are pros and cons with ScoreMaster. The downside my credit score did not improve was with them for one year then in the end finally it helped with two lingering disputes on my credit reports.
Thank you,
Very helpful and cleared all truly bad things on my credit. And now it's looking much better and growing to the high sevens where I use to be. I hope it continues as easy and fast as it's going right now.
It took just a month to get my score a 180point boost. Thanks to the super work of CreditMason, a credit restoration company I registered with after my score took a big hit last year, I use smart credit to check my scores regularly but my old collections won't let my credit be great so I had to speak to CreditMason for a permanent removal which they did within a month. I'll implore anybody that needs a quick and effective boost to register with www.creditmason.net, there's been no regrets for me so far. My score is a little over 800 at the moment which is a dream come true.
I have been submitting easy requests to improve my credit score and also keep track of my credit balances. I have used other competitors' programs like ScoreMaster and so far I like ScoreMaster much better.
I haven't had a lot of time to really dig into the site. BUT... so far they haven't been able to get, old closed accounts off of my credit report, which is disappointing. I'll give it some more time, I'm some what patient.
They asked me where James Stanton, lives at what addresses I don't know this person and a lot of questions I didn't know. A lot of addresses I didn't know, I have never applied for a fishing license lately I can't walk.
Actions are meaningless and nothing happens. Waste of money just use credit karma and file disputes for free this company has nothing to offer other than a cash grab and fake claims.
It took a while to figure out how to get the information that I needed, but it was worthwhile in the end. The action items that I tired from Score Builder never yielded any results other than negative comments from creditors that basically said "not our fault", but the ranking of points to be gained by paying individual accounts down was worthwhile.

ScoreMaster is easy. There is a quick account set up and low payment monthly subscriptions. I have already improved my credit score by a lot. Thanks to Elijah Schaffer, Host of Slightly Offensive for the recommendation!
Scoremaster's "take action" is useless. The steps I took were ignored by the creditors. Scoremaster takes your money for nothing, monthly. With Creditrepair, you get real people helping you, not some hands-off website
The best part of SM was it explains how credit works. I wish I knew this years ago. I jumped up 100+ points in the allotted period. I am fortunate that I am in a good financial position so I could attend to their recommendations. I know many cant right now due to covid and its consequences. Experian boost also helped me.
I'm very pleased with the information provided by score master. The accurate information helps focus and target specific needs to get your credit score up quickly. This is great for all of you looking to buy a home with the highest credit score possible.
It took me about an hour to email the creditors that are hurting my score. ScoreMaster makes it very easy with already created messages that are sent to the correct people at the company. Some creditors respond to the pre-made messages which increases your score. The reason I did not give 5 stars is because my score has only increased 13 points and it has been 1 month. That is not what ScoreMaster states they can do. I will take 13 points though!.
Very good.
Although I'm having trouble in understanding how to improve my scores in the system.
Please advise.
My wife and I will be purchasing a home very soon and need to finance a portion.
They give a suggestion as to your first step to improve your credit then never move on from that step. For a year I have been on the first step. There is no way to cancel on the app and I can never talk to anyone when I call. What a scam.
Easy to navigate and understand. I'm sure there's more features to this than I know about but for the time being it works for me and I'm satisfied with it!
I would never have been able to find organizations that had my information. These are organizations that probable purchased it. I did not recognize any of the names. ScoreMaster not only found these places but removed my name and information from these organizations.
Hi There,
I saw your add on Unashamed with Phil Robertson. We were looking at possibly buying a home so I enrolled. I followed your advise and paid what I was stirred to pay. We bought a new build home and were prequalified and we were off to becoming homeowners again. Then when it came time to get the actual loan, I was let down by the large gap in what y'all said my score was and what the lender was telling I qualified for. I understood my score via scoremaster was from high 720s with a 732 and I high score of over 750. When we went for the loan, it was 719 for a mid score. I had not done anything adverse to cause this, maybe you can enlighten me. The pull was, i think, in early December. We did get the loan, and are about to close in the next three weeks, so NO inquires please. But it did cost us over 1/4% on the rate and over $45 a month in the mortgage insurance. Everything looked great until the credit pull. I don't understand and am not a happy camper.
Things are not good at all. Signed up looking to show improvements in my score, but they have actually gotten worse since having scoremaster with no reason for that. Doesnt appear this service is worth anything.

ScoreMaster employs the Vantage 3 Score for its users. This may account for any variations you might have noticed in your credit score. However, we want to assure you that this does not imply any decrease in the accuracy of your credit information. It's important to keep in mind that banks and other financial institutions use varying versions of either the Vantage score or the FICO score.
ScoreMaster utilizes TransUnion for credit monitoring, which might explain why you did not receive the Experian Alert. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
We hope that you will consider giving us another chance in the future, as we are constantly working to improve our service.
