I have been an Opium user since my early 20s. I am now into my late 50s. Several years ago, I realized that my Opium had changed, that is until I found Sentmatchers. Wow! I can't believe it! On January 28,2019, I placed an order for a facsimile of Abercrombie and Fitch Vetiver cologne, a men's fragrance that has been out of production for many years. I suggested that I send a small sample. ScentMatchers replied this was unnecessary. The product was delivered on February 13th. It had absolutely no resemblance to Abercrombie and Fitch Vetiver cologne. It had the unmistakable odor of straight vetiver oil in a carrier vehicle fluid. Rather than a fragrance, they sent an odor. I emailed ScentMatchers immediately expressing my dissatisfaction. On February 16th, I received a response which basically said, "We guessed, but really didn't know what the original fragrance was like." After several exchanged emails, I sent a sample of the cologne on March 1st. It is now April 4th and I've heard nothing from ScentMatchers. I've emailed and received no response. I am now in the process of filing a formal complaint with the Complaint Division of the Michigan Attorney General's Office.
My dad has confirmed the smell my mom wore for her honeymoon/wedding (Victoria by Victoria's Secret) that was discontinued! This is amazing, she's going to freak out. Thank you Scentmatchers!

Aside from the initial order confirmation and this email asking for a review, I've had no updates on my order at all. I'm worried that this is some sort of shady scam company now.

I ordered the Jo Malone Vintage Gardenia scent match and it was done perfectly. Now, I can enjoy my favorite, discontinued fragrance again. Thank you!
Three attempts. I provided an actual sample and each one got worse. They claim they have matched the scent before as it's listed on their website, but I doubt it. $70 wasted.

I have not had just great Customer Service from any company in a very long time.
Always spot on in copying a fragrance. Also love the extras too. Victoria Secret quit making our favorite fragrance so we can get it here with the lotion and the take along parfum for your purse.
Trying a new fragrance however I am a repeat customer that is always highly satisfied. Pleasantly surprised with my first purchase so I added lotion, shampoo & shower gel.
1) These are the kindest group of people you'll find; and 2) They went the extra mile to see that I was pleased by redoing my order w/o charge to achieve what I felt was impossible; and 3) I am just an old man trying to recapture a little of his past in this crazy world and somehow they instinctively knew it and really worked above and beyond to help.
HERE'S THE DEAL: Don't go to, use, order, gamble on, anybody else but this family. I may be in the sunset years but for as long as I have on this earth, they will have my business.

I kinda thought since they had so many fragrances listed and charged such a high price that they had reproduced alot of fragrances and the public was pleased with the reproduction. I wish i had read the reviews now. I ordered Abercrombie's classic scent and it smelled like roses! No where near the clean freah scent of the original perfume. Then they asked if i could send them a sample so they could try to maych it? I wish they would have asked for that before i paid 70$ and i would have known they were unfamiliar with the scent! Oh well, i lost 70$. Never again!
I hate being negative, but don't think it smells like escada tropical punch. It's not very strong and definitely an imitation. Just wish I was charged imitation price

Business History
Shortly after Scentcrafters formed, Adam and Angela also started their life together as husband and wife. Literally a couple months after that, Angela found out she was pregnant with their first child. At that time Scentmatchers was also created. Needless to say, it was a busy period for the Schultz's!
Scentmatchers started after Scentcrafters' customers repeatedly asked if we could also provide a service to bring discontinued fragrances back to life. After enough people asked us this, we eventually woke up to the idea that, "Hey, we should give people what they want."
In 2013 we took the next step as a company and hired our first employees. We now have over 28 years of combined experience producing discontinued fragrances, and to date we have sold over 100,000 individual bottles of discontinued fragrances.
In 2014 we decided to increase our commitment to customer service and we hired our first full time Customer Service Manager, Pravin. We pride ourselves on providing quick and prompt customer service as repeat business becomes the cornerstone of our company.
In June of 2017 we increased the amount of perfume oil we used in fragrances by 50%, which we feel increases the quality of our product by it more potent and longer lasting.
In 2018 we created this new streamlined website on the Shopify platform that we are very excited about. We also added 2 more full time employees as the business continues to grow.
