I was asking for the dispatch date or tentative delivery day and the person I was talking to asked me to cancel the order. I did cancel it cause I don't want to be tied up to a brand that does not respect or value their customers. Never going to rely on them.

Very easy transaction. Communication was very good. Quality of the saree material is excellent. Loved it.
NOTE for Saree.com. I paid for a custom fit saree blouse and when I received my order, the blouse had a zipper on the side. It was impossible to put it on. So the blouse is useless. I did not pursue a refund request as the policy stated no refunds for custom made blouse.
Nowhere on the site it said the zipper is on the side.
Nor did it give an option for zipper or hooks.
So my suggestion is to add this to the description of the item. Let the wearer decide.
This company is fraud. I ordered Sherwani online they took my measurements online I requested them to show me products before cut the fabric. They hesitate not to show but finally showed me it's completely different products and color. I am trying to reach out but no one answered my Whatsapp call
I am in USA they just want my money. It's Garbage company to deal with. Be careful. I have products pictures on my Whatsapp. Please don't do business with this company they want your money that's it.

We've shopped at the Asopalav location in Ahmedabad in person when visiting India so we knew exactly what type of quality and service we would receive even with online shopping. So without any hesitation, I ordered a very heavy lehenga with embroidery and crystals just by looking at the photo on the website. It took about 10 days for the stitching to be done and another few days before it arrived in Canada from India (around 3 weeks in total) and it came exactly as pictured. The color, the design, the stitching and the material were exactly as seen in the photo and as described. I'm extremely pleased and will be doing more online shopping with saree.com/Asopalav in the future. Everything was extremely professional and quality was great.

Staff is friendly and replies promptly to all the queries. I ordered a floor length kurta and a full suit for my daughter. The fitting was amazing.
They also altered my dress. This my 2nd transaction with Saree.com and it was as good as the first one.
It was really an awesome experience. Arpita made shopping so easier through whatsapp. I would definitely recommend other brides to shop here with out any hesitation. All items arrived on time as promised.

It is not good import from India because the sterling pound charge at very lower rate than bank currant rate, where I lost £25 to 30 pounds due to exchange rate.
I ordered for a silk saree and I received a cotton saree. Very poor quality. It is very different from the picture given. Very much disappointed. If we need to return the saree the shipping charges would be ours so I got disappointed nd left it.
I was trying out online shopping for the first time. I was very apprehensive as I've had other people tell me about their bad experiences. However, the service was excellent. I am happy with my saree and the custom stitched blouse. I will order more in the future.

People you should very careful when u order saree through online. Becoz iam very disappointed. I order silk saree blue with pink border. But i received another one. Colour is totally different. Material also. No worth for cost. U buy saree on shop. Its only good for us.

Before I ordered my saree I was guaranteed by a Customer Executive at saree.com over email that there were 10 more of the same saree available and they could be delivered within 2 weeks. However when I tried to order 10 more, I was then told a week after ordering them that the sarees were not available. This not only was the complete opposite to what I had been told over email but now left us 11 bridesmaids without sarees for the wedding. I called several times to find out what had happened and was condescendingly told that this was not their issue and was not even given an apology. I offered to send the saree back for a refund but that said that the best they could offer me was a refund of 20% of my total spend. I am extremely unhappy with the way that saree.com have acted and the fact that they have taken no responsibility for leaving 11 bridesmaids without sarees for the wedding.
Bought King size Pocketo Medium Firm 1500 Reflex Plus Mattress and according to Dunelm "A layer of Reflex Plus foam ensures additional comfort" + 10 warranty.
The mattress does not come with this written warranty and when you register the purchase with Sareer website, no confirmation email is sent!
It is unclear what side is this 'reflex plus foam', but the tiny writing on the label says and I quote "No need to turn", therefore, we thought this is the right side.
However, and more importantly, after a few days of use, this 'magic foam' disappeared, leaving a mattress that is hard but sagging a little as well where we lie. First, we had to add a latex topper for comfort! And as I'm thin/lighter than partner, I was feeling my back/shoulders curving when lying on my back, and had to add an extra foam strip to make the mattress level. Will not buy Sareer again.
Do not buy products from this website. They lie & cheat customers from their money. Once you purchase their products & failed to see their lie: true to size comment. Plus sizing chart hidden at the bottom of their website.
Heaven forbid you want to try & exchange for a smaller size. The bogus claims we want you to be 100% satisfied & we refund ur return charge, you have so many days to do the FREE EXCHANGE their website just takes you to returns & will charge you an excessive fee!
They will not respond to your numerous emails once they have your money. They don't care that you are on a time crunch & any sort of budget.
Plus they have the audacity to have brand ambassadors, mission statements & philosophies on how the wanted to change the South Asian ethnic outfit buying experience, especially for the younger generation……. What absolute hypocrisy!
I, my daughter, friends, family & all my community will be told about the horrible experience my daughter, Iman had with this company. It's such a shame since her recently graduated college friends are getting closer to marriage & wanting ethnic clothing; Shane no one will be spending their mone@ The Saree Room.
In a word "fraud". They are selling products at lower rate than any other websites bcoz they are selling fake/damaged/defective ones which they wont take returns. Ordered a salwar which came with a dupatta. But the stitches on the dupatta are all comiing out and looking like torn down. When requested for return they told its not a defect -rather"design ".
The quality of the Saree was horrible. It was mentioned chiffon. I was expecting the same as the price was high. 1635 is definitely not less for a ruffle Saree. But the mosquito net like quality is horrendous.
I ordered an outfit and asked for a lining to be added. But the anarkali came without the lining and there is no flare to the top. Not happy at all. Will not order again. I asked on email if lining was possible and they said yes.
I ordered an Anarkali; the dress in the picture was completely different in person. The pictured dress had embellishment on the neckline and the plates and fitting lines with a hemmed A-lined bottom, but my dress was missing the work around the neckline, no fitting, looks more of a rectangle-shaped dress. I will not be purchasing anything from this website again. The customer support told me they couldn't do anything about it.
