Gas Nazi

First time at the Pinellas Park, Fl. Sams club and it will be my last. Don't usually have problems at any thing Walmart but the gas station attendant really pissed me off. Apparently most of their gas station islands are one way. Since when is this a thing? This 4 foot nothing gas nazi decided she would jump my $#*! about pulling in the wrong way. No arrows on the ground. No signage. Nothing! I thought she was joking when she said it was one way. She then said she would give me a warning. Like she was a cop! And if it happened again, they would call the police. THE POLICE! I don't think they are going to do anything for going the wrong way on private property without any signage or arrows Ms. Gas nazi but you can give it a try. I called the store to complain. Found out very quickly, The managers are idiots too.

This store is a joke. Shirt didn't have a tag so they refused to get a customer service rep to get one. Made me go back then took a very large order behind me and refused to give me my spot back in line. Only polite to the African American crowd. Any other race else gets treated like a 2nd rate citizen. Not my first experience of this type there. Never going back to this racist store.

I tried to order online Samsung Refrigerator that was on sale but it would not allow me. I went to the store which they could not help, so I contacted Sam's online and three months of dealing with them. Here is their reply;
We understand your frustration and this is not the type of experience we want you to have. What we may suggest is to order a similar item online that can be shipped to your address.

This place is a total joke. They keep employees that have assaulted other employees and have write ups on file showing they're awful behavior. Chad Kelley is a complete joke and has no idea how to manage this store and has lost good employees because he has let awful people keep their jobs such as some of their forklift drivers. You have one that just got recognized as a good safety team member when they are abusive and have harassed an employee and completely gotten away with it. All of the managers have no idea how to run the store and the departments are in shambles. Also leads have been put into the position when they have no idea how to do their job and aren't qualified for that role. They are put into that role because it's who management wants in that role, when they're other more qualified candidates who have been their longer and know more. I highly recommend shopping at Costco and not waisting a minute of your time or one of your hard earned dollars at this terrible store.

Bad

I had placed a $200 curbside pick up. The actual pick up wasnt bad but the fruits I got Blackberries, Blueberries and grapes was bad in about a day. Also was charged for items I did not receive..

Here in Florida for a month on vacation from Canada tried a few time to join online for the 45.00 promo they have on tried 2 cards USvisa and Amex got denied twice chatted with online help Canadians can get the online promo! But they took 16 cents twice from my cards when I applied! What a joke never shop there again!

Horrible non existent service

The local Surprise phone number goes nowhere, don't bother calling. Also don't bother calling corporate bc they will just hang up on you and/or try and transfer you to the non working number. No one with plain English answers the phone. Also forget it if you bank with chase. Chase and their checkout systems don't correspond with each other and it consistently freezes my transactions after multiple failed attempts. Honestly, this place is the worst. I have to bring cash each time just to checkout. I will not renew my membership.

Sam's Club has really poor customer service. It's outsource customer service. Did not refund my cancel order. They kept hanging up on me. They told me my refund would take 5 to 7 business on April 15th, however, I call back on May 2th They told me they was experiencing error. Call back on May 6th my refund wasn't process until I call back on May 2th. They hung up on me several times. Sam' s club doesn't respect their members enough to have an all American customer service staff to help. It was a horrible experience. I'm still waiting on my refund.

Sams Club renewed my membership on a card I only used there once. Never authorized auto -renew. 45 mins on phone with reason why I need to take Walmart card or go to sams to cancel. I moved out of state and do not have a Sam's within a 2 hour radius.

If I paid for a membership at your store I don't care what kind of membership I have I should be allowed in. For me to be at Sam's club at 9:30 and want let me in because plus members get to shop first is ridiculous. Bjs wholesale don't do that if you are a member you just go in. Sam's do better, people standing outside because they are considered regular members and not plus. If I got to pay every year to come in your store and shop than guess we should be treated just like everyone else.

I use the Battledfield Blvd., Chesapeake, VA Sam's Club. I visited this store Sunday May 1,2022 and tried to purchase a case of wine and several other loose bottles. Upon arriving to the cash register to check out I was told they did not sell alcohol until after 1:00 PM on Sundays, it was 12:18PM. If that's the case why isn't there a posted sign in the wine section so the customers are aware of the policy. Upon calling the store I also found out that this is the only store in the Tidewater area with such a restriction, I'd like to know why? This is a ridiculous policy especially since the signs are not posted. The customer as well as the Sam's employee has to handle this heavy product twice only to be told it can't be purchased.

As a business owner I have had Sam's membership for the past twenty years. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our membership. It's sad to see no customer service, no sense of accountability, specifically the managers at the LBJ location.

Because I moved 85 miles from a Sam's, when it was time to renew, I tried to cancel my membership. They processed the renewal anyway. They said I had to drive 85 miles to get a refund. I told them that was not possible. They offered me a Sam's gift card. I told them if I could not drive 85 miles to get a refund, I could not drive 85 miles to use a gift card. They then agreed to refund to my original payment method. It has been a month, and I still cannot get a refund. They have cancelled my membership, but no refund! Beware of Sam's Club.

My name is Spencer Hicks and a regular over at the Sam's Club West in Knoxville, Tennessee. I wanted to say that I truly appreciate your door greeter Paul. He has such a wonderful hospitality and is very friendly. You can tell by talking to him that he is a kind hearted person and I think he is an awesome pick for a door greeter. I don't get the same type of treatment at any other local store even Walmart. I have even came in before upset inside about because the world is changing and how others act towards others sometimes myself, sometimes others yet his positive vibes and energy is so great that talking to him for a minute or simply his greeting makes my day better and that is something that can't be said about most people including myself at times. I am proud to go to the Sam's Club because it has a lot more positive vibes than Costco because of Paul yes but also others including Judy in the food court. Who is also wonderful, very positive and helps make my day better just to see her. (My favorite pizza maker) I wanted to personally say Thank You to both Paul and Judy yet I also want to say Thank You to Sam's Club for having theses wonderful people working there and actually caring about who you hire so I would assume that you have a great management system as well. I truly appreciate that. I wish I lived closer to Sam's because the Costco, I live near West Knoxville/Farragut is just not the same atmosphere, don't have the same vibe and don't have theses wonderful people who I truly appreciate and I am a member of both. Have a blessed day to all at Sam's Club, West Knoxville.

Went online to check out products at Sam's club. Created an account to save what I liked online, If it was possible, since most sites allow you to do that. Wasn't a member but my family member was and I was going to the store with them. After done looking went on with my day until o got an email saying I got a temporary 24 hrs card. I was like that's really nice I'll go check things out without my family member so I didn't have to wait for them to go shop. Get there and I only bought 1 thing (a new tv) and I saw the price online and above the product on the display, so I didn't even thing anything of the price. I get home and check the receipt and was charged a 10% fee of $49.60 dollars. I called and they said cause it was a temporary card I got got charged 10%. I checked the email nothing stated anything about the 10% upcharge and the girl at the register didn't say anything either. Now they are saying I can return the tv but not the the 10% charge refunded. Livid due to the employee or the email not stating this charge. And they won't refund. I could of waited until my family member was off work. I only went cause I was like wow that's cool I got a temporary card. That was nice to check it out!
Talked to manager and she was like you should of know it s stated and I looked at the email nothing is stated and the employee never said anything of any upcharge at the register. The manager had me call the online store, "cause they can help me this this issue" then the online store told me to call the actual store". They have me going back and forth with no answers like it's a game. Poor customer service!
I checked the email and the site multiple times and nothing is stated about this 10% upcharge. This place is a sneaky scam that has nothing stated for they're reasoning to upcharge me legally.

Costco vs Sam
April 10, 2022

I have memberships from both Sam and Costco. I do not buy clothes from them since I go to Banana Republic or Dillard or Macy' etc... to buy these. I don't buy cosmetics or skin care products since I go to different places to buy them. I don't buy groceries from them since I go to Whole Foods, Central Market or H-E-B from them. However, I bought all of household items from them.
I compare prices for all my household items: liquid dish soap, laundry detergent, plastic wrap, Foil wrap, Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Water, Paper plates, paper bowls etc...
All of items I bought Sam has much better prices than Costco. I am very surprised when someone said Costco is better than Sam in this field. I am not related to any of them and this is my 2 cents.

Kissimmee location has serious ordering issues. By driving out of my way & shopping Orlando location I can get 5 more items on my list. Mind you I only had 11 total items & Kissimmee was out of 5 of them... Totally unacceptable, believe I will use my visitors pass to BJs instead of driving to Orlando.

I realized on Saturday, 2 April 2022, the my credit card had been used fraudulently at Sams.com. I froze the card so it couldn't be used any more. I called a Sam's Club customer service person and advised them of what was going on and see if they could help. They asked for my membership number and the order number for the different orders. There were 7 all on the same day totaling almost $300.00. They asked several more times for my membership number. I kept telling them that I wasn't a member. She ended up telling me that because I wasn't a member they couldn't help me.
