10/19/22 the company approved my warranty to return a salt generator that I bought from them after I met 3 criteria's. Invoice, picture of product and a pool water analysis. They replied with an approval to repair or replace. They emailed that I needed to send it to them the generator and forward the tracking number to them. I sent them tracking number.

The turnaround is 4-5 Days once received.
Funny because I had to give them proof of purchase to have the warranty approved.
I replied by telling them that they already have the generator and that its only 4-5 months old. And to look at the receipt that I had to upload to them.
I still have no reply as to what they are doing with it after several attempts. The blogs are correct. This company sucks. Do not by a salt generator from them.
I was so excited when I found this company, I thought I could save a few hundred dollars from buying the original equipment from Hayward.
The unit arrived from Australia of all places from Brisbane, because they told me in Kentucky we're out of stock and will have one sent to you from the manufacturer
So I think I'm seeing about four days we were just under 400 for the price, I installed it in my system I had 3400 ppm and salt and the very minute I put it in it worked for 20 seconds and then tripped the high salt on my panel
In the five years I've used the original equipment I've never once seen a high, HO is what it said so I called the company and they said oh we don't have a tech-support anymore and they sent me a few emails on what to do the first email said
We put a chemical on the fins called your uridum and this can make the cell give you a faulty reading, we recommend running it for two days and see if that helps. So I ran it for two days. Nothing they sent me another email said oh you have to track the system. You'll love this. Hayward has a fault in their firmware, and it erroneously reads the whole to high, you need to get your salt down around 2800 so I drain the pool bunch put some fresh water in and got it to 2800. Still nothing. I asked them for a replacement they said send it back will give you a refund I said no how about a replacement I never heard back from them again then I waited a week and said, can I get an RMA prepaid
Or we don't do pre-pay do you have to send it back cost me $60 to send it back to Kentucky and then they charged me 30% over $130 so they could restock it and sell it to somebody else I'm not kidding that's what they told me. We have a 30% restocking fee so we can resell it. Don't waste your money on this garbage. Complete garbage I have a YouTube video on it. I'm not sure if I can put a link in here but here's a link to a video I put together on my channel. The Salt Pool Store zero return policy sells defective cells it's ZERO days sell defective products

Received a New cell and it was damaged when we opened box, returned it and only got partial refund.
Like all of you on this website (and god I wish I found this last year before I placed my order), I was scammed by www.saltpoolstore.com and the manufacture Compupool. I purchased the Platinum Edition Replacement Salt Cell for my Jandy Aquapure 13 months ago. This is the 3rd cell I have needed in the 15 years (each usually lasted 7 years) of having my salt pool, so when I saw the $379 RETAIL price (I will come back to the capital letters in a minute) and the 5 year warranty, I couldn't pass up the deal. Fast forward 1 year and 2 weeks, and my cell died. I contacted the company for a replacement, and after paying the shipping fee to send the cell back for diagnostics, they said I would owe $239 for a new cell which was 30% of $795 which they claim is the RETAIL price. In the 5 times I have visited the site, the price was always $379, although the suggested retail price has gone up from $795 to $835. They are selling them for the lower price which makes the replacement cost $113, not $239.
During my conversations with the company, they blamed all of this on the Manufacturer. They said that this was their policy. Here is another issue with that statement. My cell said Compupool on the unit. I tried calling the manufacturer's phone number in Florida, but the number listed is for an advertisement and there is no way to contact the manufacturer. I tried emailing them, but never got a response.
I am tied of companies like this getting away with scams. I know the saying, if it is too good to be true, it probably is, but I really thought this company was different. I am getting ready to file a class action lawsuit against both the website and manufacturer for time and money lost. If you have been scammed by these companies or your cells died prematurely, please send me an email so we can discuss this and you can be added to the class action suit.
They do not stand behind warranty, have tried to get warranty and they continue to side step. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
Awful company. Same experience with a defective product. Don't be an idiot like me! Stay away!
Answer: 1/3 the price of OEM Much cheaper than the OEM part but does not come close to the OEM parts. This is not a good product
Answer: NO! Many complaints! Just do your research. They will not speak to you they will not honor their 5n year warranty.
