I recently placed an order with Saks Off Fifth and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. When I noticed that an item was supposed to be 25% off, I called customer service to have the discount applied. To my surprise, I was told that my credit card information was incorrect and that the order needed to be placed again. Despite giving them the same card details, the order was charged without the promised discount.
I then contacted customer service again, hoping for a resolution. However, I was met with disappointment once more. The representative informed me that they were unable to refund the difference and instead offered a mere 10% discount on my next purchase. This response seemed inadequate given the inconvenience I had faced. To make matters worse, the situation escalated to the point where I had to spend over an hour on the phone, speaking to multiple supervisors.
This entire experience has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. It's disheartening to encounter such poor business practices and customer service. I expected better from a reputable company like Saks Off Fifth. It's my hope that they take these concerns seriously and work towards improving their processes to provide a more seamless and customer-friendly shopping experience in the future.
Ordered 2 pairs of sunglasses, one as a gift and one for myself. Well, the gift arrived safely and sealed. However, my package was NOT sealed closed and only an empty glass case. Totally unacceptable when THEY ship open packages but insinuate that I stole my own package. No longer going to order anything from them. BEWARE!
I ordered from your store on July 14,2023 (*******) and it was supposed to be delivered on July 21,2023. Of course that didn't happen nor did the tracking system update with new information. On July 24,2023 I received an email from Off Saks 5th stating the package had been delivered. I looked all over and even went to the mailbox looking for this package and of course it wasn't there. Surprised, nope!
I immediately contacted Off Saks 5th to report the problem. I was told they had to reach out to the carrier to find out what was going on. The next day the rep from Off Saks 5th advised me that the carrier stated they still had the package in their possession and it would not be delivered because it was deemed by them as damaged.
I requested a refund of my money since I wasn't going to get my package and here is where the BS and very painful lack of customer service starts. I was told that Saks needed to submit a claim in order to have my money refunded. What in the HE** do I care about what happens outside of me getting my money back. I was also told that the process would take 3-10 business days for the investigation (which was already completed and documented) and 3-5 business days for a refund.
The customer services agent Kori reached out to the carrier and was told that the package was damaged and is not able to be delivered and will be returned back to Off Saks 5th. I am confused as to why I am being inconvenienced when it comes to getting my money back. You have tied the hands of your management to make the customer whole and forced them to deal with anger and frustration of the customer when most things can be easily resolved like my case. Open and shut because you have documentation/emails that the carrier still has the package. Unfortunately, this process has been very painful and has turned me off from ever shopping Off Saks 5th again.
I am a very lucrative shopper and I will take my money elsewhere so that I don't have to deal with your archaic refund policies.

Do not shop from their website. Their customer service is horrendous. I bought a Zadig & Voltaire jacket but when the delivery arrived the jacket was not there - instead there was a cheap dress that I would never buy. I called customer service and they told me to send back the dress and request a refund. So I did. Then I received the dress back saying that my refund was denied because that dress was not sold by them! (never mind that it had their tags on it). I am a long time customer, spent a lot of money there and they are implying that I was trying to scam them? I spent numerous hours on the phone in order to get my money back. They finally agreed to reimburse me but it's been over a month and I have yet to see the payment. This is the worst customer experience I've had in my life when shopping online. Another reviewer said that Saks off 5th stole from her. They stole from me too! Looks like that is their MO.
My package was lost by the shipper. I contacted Saks Off Fifth through chat. Two agents disconnected me before resolution. I called a representative who was unable to listen or understand my issue. I finally spoke to a supervisor l, who did resolve my issue but not to my satisfaction. I will never order through them again.
I had an order that I was made to wait 4 days for, paid for expedited shipping only to find my order cancelled without me knowing about it. I tried contacting them via chat and the only response was sorry but $#*! happens. Now my money is on hold by the bank for 10 days and no expedited shipping would get me my dress on time! Never again.
Recently made my very first purchase from this store. I purchased 2 bracelets. They are very pretty, but the clasp is broken on one. Too much trouble to return, so I kept it and will try to get it fixed. I then purchased 2 pairs of earrings. One arrived with bent posts. The other box, which looked like it came from the dollar store, was empty. There was a huge cut on the bottom of the shipping box, so not sure if someone stole them, of if the store sent me an empty box. Either way, I spent $314 on an empty box. Store refuses to issue a refund. I had just purchased a very expensive necklace from Saks Fifth Avenue, when I discovered this. I realize these are completely different stores, but I will not shop from either store, or anything with the Saks name, again.
We bought a CELINE SUNGLASSES, and it has very poor quality, they give me blurry vision and headache. Unfortunately I lost the tickets and the manager Diane and the staff were very RUDE. Never come back again
I'm usually do not write any reviews, but this experience was the worse one and unexpectedly upsetting. The 1st fact that to prepare the order of 3 items took over a month to ship. 2nd fact it was delivered somewhere but not to me. 3rd fact is that regardless of the facts u r presenting or even filling the police report will required to pay ur lost package in full. There is no store credit for the lost package or reimbursement of the purchase. Would never try again, bcs cannot allowed myself to pay for the package I would never recive.
They send out defective items and do not do anything about them because I missed the 30-day return window. I didn't want to return, I wanted them to fix or to replace the damaged expensive bracelet. This place is the WORST and I'll never shop here again.
Charged my credit card twice and ignoring me now sent many massages asking them the reason and to return the money but no response at all real scammer and I haven't seen the products at all.
STAY AWAY! DON'T DO IT! Ordered pretty dress and shoes my daughter loved for her high school graduation. Two weeks in advance. Told initially would arrive in 3 days. Never showed up. Had to scramble 2 days before to find something nice. Agents not very attentive, don't listen to you. Have to wait 5 days past due date before start refund, which will take up to 2 weeks to complete. Customer service sounds like a bunch of AI programs unable to clearly appreciate situations. Saks is not anything close to its former reputation.
I bought 2 V Italia purses from them about a week ago. I guess I am lucky that I got them in a reasonable time and that they are not damaged judging by the all the problems people have had with this company.
My problem is that the purses were supposedly over $700 a piece (I paid about $150 a piece) and for that price I would expect high quality. The purses are cute, but flimsy. The lining looks cheap and it just doesn't seem high quality at all.
I normally read reviews first before I buy anything online, but I thought it's Saks, what could go wrong. I can't return the items but at least I got them and they are usable. But I will never shop there again.
I ordered 2 designer belts but only received 1. When I called to complain, they denied my claim. I am out $255 and no belt. I can't believe that they steal from their customers. Absolute worst costumer service I have ever experienced. I have shopped at SAKS and OFF SAKS for years but I will never shop there again. And I'm telling everyone I know so buyer beware! Also closing my SAKS credit card. They are now a thing of the past.
I placed 2 orders 1 day apart, first order arrives and misses one item of 9, I file a complaint and within 24 hrs the claim gets denied because in the past I've returned too many online orders. (kept a lot too, but didn't matter) So when the second box arrives, I videotape myself opening the box, from the 4 items, only 2 were there. I file a complaint, send customer service the video and to my surprise they denied the claim. According to them, they contacted the warehouse and say they picked packed and shipped all items, so no refund.
I'm shocked that this can happen in the US and needless to say I'll never order/buy from them again. I filed a claim with the credit card company and if that falls through I'll file a case through small claim court. How can this company get away with this? SCAM AND FRAUDULENT COMPANY
I have shopped with saksoff5th with no problems for over a decade. I ordered a bag that cost $499 and with taxes and shipping paid $549
Which Saks and shipper claimed was delivered to me. This was not delivered to me. Saks investigated and shipper confirmed that it was incorrectly delivered to another address.
However Saks keeps repeating that the shipper said it was delivered and therefore my claim is denied. I am just in total shock but determined to find justice. Please be careful dealing with this business. They and their shipper are shady and they have the worst customer service. After this experience, I will no longer have the confidence to order anything from them again. If you shop with them know that it is at a high risk. Be careful.
Bought a Saks branded bolo bracelet for my wife that broke first time she wore it. After hours on the phone with their foreign customer service "supervisors" and Saks returning the item to me twice without any notice or refund from their ALL MIGHTY distribution center that has the power to make decisions on whether they'll accept a return, I finally disputed with Citibank. Also, Saks has the gall to charge $10 for the privilege of returning their Chinese made garbage which they will put under scrutiny and render their decision whether to bless you with a refund. Go to Nordstrom, Niemann, Bloomingdales, Macys, or any other retailer EXCEPT Saks!
I placed an online order for the last pair of shoes I wanted/needed sooooo badly. I placed the order but wasn't provided an order# or an email conformation about the order. So I checked my account I used to pay for the order and sure enough the money for the ordered was showing as pending. I called the store to ask why no confirmation was given and they said the order didn't take or go through. I told how the money was held in my account etc… From there on it was a wild goose chase. They told me to call my bank to get hold released, my bank said Saks had to release the hold, Saks gave me the number to call their bank about releasing the hold, their bank said Saks has the ability to release hold. Called Saks back and got another nope can't be done. Since the glitch was their fault I asked if there was anyway they could think of an out of box solution to hold those last pair of shoes until the hold on my $ was resolved. I wasn't down for paying twice. Nope they couldn't/ wouldn't do it. So of course now that pair of shoes is gone and I am livid, disappointed and I even cried. I don't ask for much in life but I really wanted those shoes. Customer service was cordial but not helpful
Ordered an item on Feb 28. They sent it to the wrong person and I got her earrings, which I returned immediately. Its now April 20 and I still have not gotten credit for the item I never ordered.
