I was skeptical this would work but I got my passport in just a few days. In fact, I signed up for too fast of a service than was necessary and they refunded me $200. The website isn't completely clear on how it works, but basically you authorize a courier to go in person to apply for renewal on your behalf. They handle all shipping labels and instructions. It's the perfect option if you don't live near a city where an in-person center is located. They even review your application over the phone before you send it in to ensure no errors. (Honestly, I really didn't want to do this... until they found an error!)

Definitely give this a shot if you are on any sort of timeline at all. Actually, maybe use it regardless of timeline because they do make the process much less confusing.

Expensive, but quite remarkable customer service. Representatives stay on the line while you fumble around figuring out what you're supposed to be doing, and guide you through it until you're done with each step. Waiting on hold was not excessive. Email updates were thorough and frequent enough to (almost) relieve one's anxiety. I made an inadvertent error in my original application and had to refile something. Again, customer service did an excellent job advising me what needed to be done. Despite that error, my new passport arrived a week ahead of the original schedule.

First, I was extremely relieved this service is available given that I would not have been able to travel without an expedited passport renewal for my two children. The process is overwhelming and very exact so details are important. Amal and his team were incredibly helpful and patient as they walked me through every detail of the required documents and multi-step process so that I would not make a mistake and lose valuable time. Once I understood what I had to do, the rest of the process was easy to execute. Because they were so thorough in their explanations, I was able to make this happen without backtracking or missing items and steps. Once I dropped my paperwork to FEDEX in my prepaid postage, my only job was to check progress via email updates and wait for my passports! Thank you Amal and RushMyPassport! I can now look forward to my family vacation.

I realized about a week and a half before a trip to the middle east that my passport expiration date was only five months away rather than the mandatory six month leeway that the government requires. My son did some research for me and rushmypassport was one of the options we had. After talking with a representative we decided to put the fate of my trip in their hands. So glad we did,, the service was incredibly easy to use. They send you email updates. Two concerns for me was no 24 hour customer service which I think would be good to have for a panicked customer and I found out that the package was shipped by tracking quite a few hours before the company sent me that final email. Those things aside, I would definitely recommend this service...a bit pricey but worth it to me!
