I could not be more pleased with my service from RushMyPassprt. Bill Hess was my case manager, and he was exceptionally responsive, patient, meticulous and empathetic. I had a number of little issues, like needing a marriage certificate mailed from another State, and the marriage certificate being written entirely in Spanish. (Neither my late husband nor I am Hispanic, but we chose to get married in Mexico.) Mr. Hess always had a solution, and showed no sign of irritation or impatience as these problems popped up in the process. I was skeptical this would work but I got my passport in just a few days. In fact, I signed up for too fast of a service than was necessary and they refunded me $200. The website isn't completely clear on how it works, but basically you authorize a courier to go in person to apply for renewal on your behalf. They handle all shipping labels and instructions. It's the perfect option if you don't live near a city where an in-person center is located. They even review your application over the phone before you send it in to ensure no errors. (Honestly, I really didn't want to do this... until they found an error!)

Definitely give this a shot if you are on any sort of timeline at all. Actually, maybe use it regardless of timeline because they do make the process much less confusing.

I am prob the biggest skeptic...especially when it's a matter like this one but having no other choice I called rush my passport on Monday and by thursday I had the passport in hand. Expensive, but quite remarkable customer service. Representatives stay on the line while you fumble around figuring out what you're supposed to be doing, and guide you through it until you're done with each step. Waiting on hold was not excessive. Email updates were thorough and frequent enough to (almost) relieve one's anxiety. I made an inadvertent error in my original application and had to refile something. Again, customer service did an excellent job advising me what needed to be done. Despite that error, my new passport arrived a week ahead of the original schedule.

My overall experience was really good. I got my passport in a timely manner. They sent me email updates every time something was done and kept me in the loop of what was happening. I was panicked after leaving our travel agent on Sat. With our final travel documents and finding out that my son's passport could not expire for 6 mos. After our return to the US. I felt like the biggest dope ever... had been planning this road trip with my 10-year old son for months.
