RuneScape

It is one of the greatest RPGs of the 2000's, and it will always be one of my favourite games! There is so much depth, and history added with years of work! The artists deserved to be credited with years of detail. It is elegant, and fun. My friend who always keeps me loves it more than you would imagine. The backgrounds are wonderful. A grand Kingdom for all ages.

The company in charge of operating the popular online game "Jagex" has recently opted to threaten legal action against open source developers of a popular client extension which in no way, shape, or form breaches their copyright as a means to financially support a closed-source third-party client developer that is currently sending them financial incentive to support it. Despite popular support for the open-source project, the close-minded business people involved in the company don't want a competitor for their business partner "RSBuddy".

I downloaded the game via mobile once it was released for mobile. Once i appealed the ban it was denied even though i down loaded the game from the play store. So an account that was olayed since 2008 has been lost. When requested proof. The system said their security was absolute with not say why it was wrong or what the issue was besides saying 3rd party even though the app downloaded from p;ay store had all thier inf for jagex.

I used to be a member, but was low on cash so I cancelled my subscription. They kept withdrawing funds from my card. I ended up blocking them through my bank and deleted my account.

Because friends were playing, I created a new account and played on that one. I moved and now they blocked my account. "For security reasons". Since my IP has changed, I must be a hacker. I have to give them my initial password, one password I can remember and my current password, date I created the account, my ISP when I created the account and a ton of other info.

If you incorrectly fill out any of these fields you get a sarcastic message that "an employee carefully went over your answers, but they need more info in order to assist unlocking the account" 3 seconds after you completed the form.

This company doesn't give a **** about you, will not give your money back and support is non-existent. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO.

www.runescape.com is a website where it brings you to a massive multiplayer website, it used to be a great game until the lovely people from the JaGex HQ has placed something known as the refer a friend programmes, or programmes them self. As from adding their "programmes" they broke their own rule of RWT, as the RWT asks for your money, (unlike subscribing to membership) they don't do any thing to clean up their game, as not cleaning up their game, they are basically scamming you.

RuneScape is a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game where players level up 23+ different skills, completing quests in a fantasy world with monsters, gods, demons, dragons, and so much more. You collect gold and items growing your bank fighting, trading, and teaming up with thousands of other real players living in the same world.

There are currently 2 version of Runescape with similar but different gameplay. Both versions are easily accessed from your single Runescape account and membership benefits are universal between versions.

RS3 (RuneScape 3) also known as EoC (Evolution of Combat) this version is a lot more developed and has been online since 2001 with many changes over the years creating RS3. It has years more worth of updates compared to OSRS and has higher quality graphics and more combat options with game play similar to World of Warcraft.

Old School RuneScape - OSRS - is a rolled back copy of the game code from 2007 released in 2013. It was demanded by the players when the games major update known as the Evolution of Combat came out. A huge percentage of the player base had quit playing, so OSRS was born from demand. Now majority player vote cast in game chooses updates to ensure community approval.

Its been fun watching the splitting of RuneScape into these separate directions in a butterfly effect type of parallel worlds scenario.

It should go without saying but I'll say it anyway, obviously Old School RuneScape is the best version of the game. So play it

My husband and I have played Runescape for over a decade. Recently this summer, my husband thought I went on his account cuz he was on his other acct and someone logged in to his main acct. Come to find out I was not and he was not on his main acct. Someone had gotten into his acct right before his very eyes. Needless to say, a short while later, he got permanently banned for botting which he has never done on this acct. He pleaded with Jagex and Runescape support and explained all this but to no avail. The decade long work to achieve all that he has is over. Real world money and in-game money completely wasted away. This is extremely sad for both of us. I will never play Runescape again and he won't either and will tell everyone we can about this situation. How heartless of them. He was telling the God's honest truth and they said they don't make mistakes but they did this time. I now distrust the support of this game and am wondering if Jagex or Runescape themselves hacked him to take all the in-game wealth he had. Nobody knew his personal information except for Runescape themselves and me. I think it sounds very fishy. Either way, for anybody considering this game, be very weary when you play cuz you could dedicate a decade of your life to this game and have it swiped right out from under your feet even when you play legitly. I am writing this review for him as he is too upset to even want to deal with this process and it happened in my own personal presence in front of my own eyes.

I've played runescape off and on for a few years. This game is great in some aspect, but it lacks in others. It is good in the way that there is a lot of free content and can keep you occupied for hours when you are trying to level up your skills. The downside is, it takes a very long time to level up after a few times and takes a lot of farming. You can find most people killing cows to level up their combat skills, which takes a very large amount of kills to level. Also, after farming only a few times for cowhides, you become rich which shows that the Runescape economy isn't very good. After farming cowhides for about 3hours, I can make about 60k gold. The graphics aren't very good, and I personally chose to play World of Warcraft. Though it isn't free, it offers a lot more than Runescape does. In conclusion, if you want to play a free game that can keep you intrested for a long time, you can get on Runescape. But, I find that after playing for a long time, I have to stop because leveling becomes so aggonizingly long.
