Ordered quite a bit of equipment for my new UTV and paid with credit card. They then called me and said I had to either pay with PAyPal or wire transfer through my bank. I asked why and they refused to tell me. I asked for a manager who also refused to tell me why. I have perfect credit and my payments are more secure with a credit card and I can challenge charges if I dont receive product. They both said it was to protect me and that it was company policy handed down from CEO to NOT tell people why they refuse my credit card payment. I'll shop somewhere else. I've never heard of this before, like the other gentleman that experienced the same thing on here. Sports men and ladies, give someone else with transparency your hard earned money! Worst customer service I've ever experienced! I'm sure they'll respond here with fake concern saying they thank me for the feedback……"this is our security policy to protect you the customer and us" which is an absolute crock or all the big companies would be doing it. Something's not right here but they refuse to tell why they are requiring these payment types with no justification. Would be different if they simply told me the reason, yet transparency escapes them. Rocky Mountain - do NOT reply to this asking me to contact you. You have much work to do gain customer service trust back.
Update: talked with another person there in their customer service and told him to start listening to their customers then cancelled entire order. He wanted me to verify form of payment through small transactions to my credit card. Here's the crazy thing - ordered mirrors through Side by Side stuff the next day. My shipping info and billing info were different. What did they do? Called me and asked if I would simply confirm the 2 addresses verbally. On the phone 10 seconds and done! Why was that so difficult for RMATV?
Found a really nice company with excellent customer service that shipped my tires and wheel in less than 24 hrs. Ordered one day and they were at my house the next day! Mudthrowers.com. Check them out! Don't settle for RMATV and their crappy service!
I have made a total of 4 orders from rocky mountian atv mc, and in that span of time 3 of those orders have been wrong. First was a enduro engineering extreme skid plate that I was sent the wrong one and did not receive the "extreme" skid plate. I had to send them pictures of what was wrong so their technical department could see what was up. They replaced it and send me the correct one that worked great. 2nd was Acerbis Handguards, they sent me the wrong ones that aren't even close to fitting on my braketec master cylinders. Working on a return now but I know I'll have to send detailed pictures at every possible angle and every single part number involved. Third was a enduro engineering rear brake light switch, this product wasn't even shipped to me. The shipping order that Rocky Mountain provided me said it had shipped but it was not in the box along with the other parts I've ordered. I called about the order but customer service tried every way to get out of admiring it was their fault asking "is the package damaged at all?" "Did you over look the item?" They act like I'm lying to them about not receiving the item. And when I ask for a refund I'm told it'll be a couple days so we can figure out what to do. But the part that bums me out the most is that I love to watch Rocky Mountains YouTube Chanel for all their information and adventures, my experience has completely ruined that for me. I hope they can make it right because it's not seeming like they will.

Needed parts right away for a race in 6 days. Couldn't get parts anywhere else in time. Rocky mtn had it in stock for 2 day delivery.
Rocky Mountain ATV in Utah, I trusted this company to provide more of a street style tire for my new RZR 1000. I selected the ITP Ultra Cross brand. Standard shipping took Monday thru Friday to my door. When mounted, I could not go over 40 miles per hour, my UTV shook so bad. I took both front tires in for a balance check and one was out of balance by over 22 ounces, I was told there was nothing that could be done with it. Called RM ATV immediately on Saturday for a replacement and was first told it was my problem because RM ATV did not mount the tires on my stock wheels which worked perfectly with the stock Big Horns that it came with. When I would not accept that response, I was then told to send pictures, my info and what was found to their warranty dept. I was then lied too saying their warranty dept would call me back ASAP on that day, Saturday. No one called only for me to find out hours later, their warranty dept is not even open on Saturday. I had to then call on Monday to explain the entire situation again. Each time you call RM you are on hold for at least 10 minutes before you get someone in customer service. Finally a FedEx return label by email. Now after more trips and time to remove the rubber from the wheel and FedEx to pick up, they still will not send me a replacement until the return scan shows up in their system. I just watched it being scanned at my door step. They promised to promptly ship a replacement upon scanning the return yet here I still wait on RM ATV. I have no confidence that without yet another 20 minute call to RM ATV tomorrow, Thursday, I will receive a tracking number to watch the standard 2 day delivery take a 5 day trip. I see a lot of customer disappointment in RM ATV and I only wish I would have looked at reviews prior to my purchase.
Now after a week, second tire is shipped to me and is 5.50 oz out of balance. RM ATV now tells me that these are not the best tires for quality and for what I intend to use them for. However, these are what was recommended for my RZR 1000 in the initial purchase. I am going to take the hit, pay for the dismounting of all 4 and they can have them back for a full refund. I will purchase elsewhere let everyone know of this horrible experience.
