I was on the phone with Spring when I received an important phone call, I ask if she could hold for a minute and not only did she hold but she took the time to look up my account. When I came back on the line I wasn't expecting her to be there but she was an took care of my situation in a matter of seconds, with a smile on her voice. She is definitely an asset to this company. I, too, tested a Trial Subscription in May of 2013. I NEVER signed up for an ongoing subscription. Without warning, Rocket Lawyer started charging me $39.95/month. It took me a few months to discover this (OK, I'm not on top of my business accounting the way I should be). I emailed Support demanding a refund and all I got was a generic email saying this;

Excellent excellent service for the money. I had some issues with the site and had to start all over because the servers were not editing. I could not attach Exhibit A, and I had to fit everything into the text box. I made it work, got everything signed and all good. The platform has some kinks to work out but for a simple service agreement it works.

When I finally was able to get a phone number to call. Jacob did everything he could to help me find out who has gotten ahold of my card. The only thing I didn't like was he needed the last 4 numbers of my credit card. But he was real patient with me and I'm happy with the. Outcome

I was advised that I would be billed 39.95 a month once I entered my credit card unless I canceled the account. Upon learning this information I promptly cancel my account and documented It.
However today I just got an email from my credit card company saying I was billed 39.95. This seems typical of the free trial websites.

The hardest part was deciding which was the appropriate document for me needs. The "use this document if..." fields helped me figure out which was the right one. Then the website asks you a bunch of simple questions that walks you thought the process. It took me maybe 20 minutes. I was able to sign back into my account and makes changes very quickly and resend for signature. And the cost was less than a date at the movies.
