I have a membership with another legal service, but they charged $259 to process a quitclaim deed. Rocket Lawyer only charged me $40. I tried out the free service and cancelled the subscription. There needs to be a per contract fee instead of a subscription only setup. Then I would have given it 5 stars since i write a contract about 2 times a year.

I was calling on what I know was a billing error but I was very upset and Kevin just made me feel that I did not have to get angry or irate. He came across as a very happy-go-lucky guy and proceeded with that attitude throughout the entire process. When I first got on the site, it was easy to navigate.I followed the instructions given and had no problem. I found what I needed,completed it and printed it out. I chose to take the premium trial,because all I needed was available at that time. When I called back to downgrade to the free membership, it was a breeze. I had to wait for a minute. When McKenna answered, it was an enjoyable experience.She was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable in assisting me. She understood what I needed and promptly brought it to pass.

Rocket Lawyer "free" document is a trap for rip off! If you want a "free" document, first they ask you to fill it with all your info. Second step, they will ask you to agree with their "Terms of Use" and then... the rip off... It is not just a "Terms of Use" like everybody knows and agrees. There is a obligation to you become their member with monthly charge included!. If you don't cancel your NOT ASKED membership in 7 days, they will charge you forever. Even if you send emails asking to cancel it, they will NEVER answer. Stay away from Rocket Lawyer!

The Free Trial membership gives free access to legal documents for the duration of the Trial Period, which is 7 days. When the Trial offer is accepted, there are Terms which indicate clearly that it will become a paid monthly membership of $39.95, unless otherwise cancelled.
We are happy to address these types of concerns and come to resolutions with our customers when there are misunderstandings or confusions; however, because the charge has been disputed through your financial institution, we are unable to refund the charge to your card. Please note that your account was downgraded (cancelled) as of 10/26/2015, so no further billing will take place.

I had a charge from Rocket lawyer from when I used Rocket Lawyer at a Fed ex to print some legal forms. I tried to cancel service on computer it would not let me.
