I purchased a throttle body from them and it's sat in my garage for at least a month because I was on the road. I was finally able to install it and found it was defective and now RockAuto says because it's beyond 30 days they will not refund my money. They have lost a customer

I explain, not recieved, not my house in the delivery confirmation pic FedEx sent.
FedEx wouldn't even talk to me about it and directed me to deal with Rock Auto.
Online system tells me to check with neighbors and canvass my neighborhood. What a load of BS!
Then it says I must wait another 7 days to open a claim " in case it shows up"!
Today after waiting 7 days I go back and initiate claim, system has the gall to ask if I want a replacement shipped, store credit or a refund.
Clearly I want a refund as I already had to get a more expensive local starter as I needed my car for Xmas.
Now I have to wait up to 3 business days for a refund and it's Friday the 29th.
I realize that FedEx messed up initially but Rock Auto making me wait 7 more days to even address the issue and then up to 3 bussiness days for a refund is terrible don't care customer service.

Ordered 4 parts returned boxes unopened. Paid for shipping labels to return parts. They say they didn't receive all parts. Refunded 140 instead of 250. I'd say it's a problem. Either they didn't ship everything or the employees got a bonus. You pick.
I bought an AC Condenser from Rock Auto. I had it installed at a dealer. It also cools transmission fluid,which their CSR denied,but I have a factory drawing that proves I am right. About a day after I had it installed,it leaked out transmission fluid and my transmission (40,000 miles) was ruined. They are dishonest and irresponsible. I am at loss of over $4000 thanks to Rock Auto.
Ordered the correct fuel pump for my Infinity g35x however after removing the original I found the fuel lines would not fit. Rockauto would not refund me for the shipping. Was not my fault and it would seen I shouldn't have to pay half the return shipping!
Rockauto's website SUCKS! They refuse to let you ask a question that is not in their FAQs. I have a question that needs a human to answer it. Forget it!
Ok I wanna first off saying over the past 3 years I guarantee me and my family has done 40,000 worth of business "atleast "and some times it was are fault order wrong part,sometimes theres!whatever I bought a radiator and a turn signal, I believe it came out to 265 with shipping, I get the radiator, " cool" but never get the 89.00 turn signal, probably 105 with shipping, we exchange texts he said go to your local post office I said well everything always gets shipped to my house but whatever, I went to 3 of the closet post offices around and nothing! I reply and tell him, he says NO REFUND!"I GOT SCREENSHOTS,cameras all over my house,my mechanic is so busy I have him get it. I was just so mind blown all the money me and my family spent with this company, he doesn't issue 100 refund for his mistakes, I get the 3 foot by 3 foot radiator, but not the the turn signal, the size of a watch.was really mind blown they did this.maybe you should get customer service ******* was order number,I have receipt for everything and screen shots all for $100 dollars. I was like wow man.
Wrong Part, twice. Part sent completely different from description. Now have to wait for a refund, maybe.
Do yourself a favor, shop elsewhere, a great price for the wrong Part is not a good deal.
Have used them several times without a problem but the trust factor is now gone. No direct customer service. Parts were delivered to distribution center 10 miles from my house 4 days ago still haven't been delivered I'll pay more money elsewhere next time.
Do not buy from here Parts are defective and NO customer service. They are the worst. Most terrible company I've ever done business with. Do not recommend!
FX continues to deliver parts making theft easy to accomplish by not following directions stated in my FX account. Rock has great parts but if they aren't received, it's not worth ordering from Rock.
Do not buy from this company you will get the wrong parts and it will be impossible to return the parts they will not return your emails or phone calls so do nat spend your money
Bought a alternator for 2007 equinox when I got it the box was damaged and were u plug adapter to it the whole plastic part was broken tried to return it for damaged product couldn't get ahold of nobody so went ahead put it on it lasted mybe a yr went out cheap prices and cheap $#*! parts a 6yr old could probably do a better job than the person getting the parts for people I wouldn't recommend anyone ordering from here
If they send you the wrong part you won't be able to call anyone to correct the part. The process of reporting it is unreliable. Then you're paying the return shipping on their mistake. Forget about being able to talk to someone to ensure the part is proper for a second purchase. They have a reputation of shipping faulty or incorrect parts from what i discovered in the following days of my incident.
Send wrong parts, then can't get a return label to get my refund. This the first and last time I do business with rock auto
I order a few different part for my car when I receive the package I was one piece of parts from my order and when I contact rockauto customer service nobody can help me with the issue. I keep sending them emails but nobody reply. I will just have to buy the part somewhere else now.

I purchased a set of shock absorbers for my Nissan Maxima and when Rock Auto shipped them they were so poorly packaged they slid around and ripped out both the inner and outer boxes to the extent that some of the small parts must have fallen out of the box during shipping (or they were never shipped from the beginning). I called customer service and was told to ship it back in the original packaging at my expense to get a refund. I disputed why I should pay for the shipping since it was not my fault that their warehouse/shipping team did such a poor job in packing. But even after I returned the items with the original boxes taped up and additional packing material to keep it safe for the return trip, they still refused to reimburse my shipping costs.
So beware of using Rock Auto especially if you want to order larger, heavy parts because you may be the one paying for their chinzy packing jobs.
Needed air filter for my 2007 Pontiac Solstice at a price I could afford discount parts stores wanted $45.00 dealer wants $40.to $50. At Rock Auto I got 2 For less than $20.00 ordering was easy delivery was fast I Am a very happy woman this is my 3 parts order I wish I had called customer service to find filters I would not have got 2 years with a new no So If You Don't See It Call and Ask
I have received excellent customer service and quality parts every. Time. Delivery of my parts are quick and the one return I had (because of mixed address) was deposited back into my account with no problem. Excellent service overall.
