Roblox

Roblox is a sandbox-style game that is often compared to other games like Minecraft, Lego Worlds and Terraria. But there is a lot more Roblox has to offer. Roblox is a great multiplayer game, and is easy to get on. Players can also build unique worlds through the software Roblox Studio.

I have used Roblox for several years, and in a lot of ways the program is great. It permits the easiest development of computer models I've ever seen, and its quite fun to work with as well. Development of games is very easy and fun, and they have released several features that made tasks even easier.

Unfortunately that is where the positivity ends. The company has only one method you can use to contact them for all issues: a single email address. The employees in charge of answering these emails generally instruct you to re-install the program for ANY issue, even when said issue is caused by their own program having a flaw. They continue to ignore several issues to the program (floating point errors have been in the program for over four years, despite having been told they exist numerous times).

An even bigger problem exists in the area of asset security, by which I mean there IS no asset security. It is extremely easy for someone to steal things that you create and release it to the public. The company will do absolutely nothing to punish the people involved, nor will they delete the leaked assets.

A lesser problem exists in the area of features: these will be forced on the community whether or not they want them. Recently they forced a new studio interface on users of the old interface by causing the program to crash until they changed to the new interface in settings.

While I give the program five stars, the terrible customer support, protection of assets, and game community brings my rating down to two stars.

Do NOT spend any money on roblox if you don't plan on staying vigilant and log in often. I had hundreds stolen with no help because I was deployed and didn't catch it in 30 days

Me and my cousin both tried to get robux today neither of our codes worked. I tried to redeem my card which is how you do it and it said it was already redeemed, when i never did i just opened it. And my cousins card just didnt wok in the first place. When we called roblox to try to help they said they couldnt do anything. Which is dumb we just spent 75 dollars on roblox, we got ripped off... DO NOT BUY THERE GIFT CARDS.

Roblox is VERY fun, but I have a few things that need to be changed, in my opinion.
One, the chat filter is TOO MUCH. Sometimes when I'm just trying to have a conversation, out of nowhere theres, "############### ##### ####" for no reason. I understand it's for our own good, but it's just TOO MUCH.
Second, why do we have to pay to make roles in our group? I mean, we already paid 100 robux for our group, WHY WE GOTTA PAY MORE?
Third, I don't think it's fair that we can't make shirts without a subscription. Like, come on! Roblox just wants us to pay more for stuff that isn't really worth it!
Overall, it's a good game, I just think it needs a few changes.

Some times people like me and others get banned for saying simple thing like some one i know got banned for saying yo yo is like hi and i don't see nothing bad plus one time i got banned for spamming for saying ban a hacker that was in my sever so people could look and report her plus idk how to report so i asked people to do it for me and them i got banned for spaming but they should look at what i was spamming first and send me a warning or why i got banned,but overall in i got gaming platform

Don't believe me? Search the words GET HUMAN ROBLOX and search through the thousands of complaints. Everything ranging from hackers to forgotten passwords... And NONE have been resolved. I forgot my password and tried resetting by phone and email and get nothing but automated responses saying "we are looking into the matter". Which is the same thing every other customer I've spoken to says that they've gotten. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun game, but just know there really is no safety net to fall back on. Use an email address you won't use for anything important to set up your account, don't spend large sums of Robux as it tends to attract hackers, and link your account to your cell phone. For the love of everything, DO NOT FORGET YOUR PASSWORD!

Roblox is an overall great platform with a ton of free resources such as free hosting of games, an amazingly easy to use game studio, and many other great and easy to use resources that are free. The main problems with Roblox is the fact that if you decide to create anything on the platform is that there is almost 0 chance you can make money off of it no matter how much effort you put in because you're gonna need a lot of money to market it and if it is successful you only get like 25% of the actual revenue in cash. Another problem is the fact that a lot of the games and items created are just plain bad quality or are straight up scams or something too but that doesn't mean that all of the games here suck. The moderation could also be a lot better but with seeing how huge they are, I would excuse them for some of the problems that happen on the platform. The business is overall a for profit company as with every other company so you can't really blame them for that. The also seems to have been experiencing a lot of technical difficulties recently too.

Had I known how horrific Roblox customer service was I never would have allowed my child to spend a dime on it. She has been playing Roblox since 2018, has spent lots of money in gift cards on the app. A couple weeks ago her account was hacked and all her birthday money drained from her account, she was then locked out of it. It's been two weeks of trying to get Roblox to respond appropriately. We reached out right away, had screenshots of everything - didn't matter. We've been stuck using their support request forms and going back and forth via email for two weeks. Most of the time we only get generic responses with tips on changing passwords or internet safety. When we have gotten personalized responses, they have made zero effort to help us remedy the issue. Not only has there been no offer to return lost funds, there hasn't been any communication that even indicated that they regret the bad experience. With so many companies competing for our business and offering amazing customer support and service, why would we spend one cent with a company who profits when its customers encounter issues like hacking or software failures? They have designed a labyrinth of dead-end supports to avoid any accountability or interaction with their customers. Not an exaggeration to say WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Its nice and clean sure some people say bad words but that the internet also I don't care if I can't afford robux some parents say its bad because it has weapons or blood and gore but again its the internet idk why a lot of parents hate it you rarely see a parent that like Roblox but its the world

Roblox caused my amazing kids to turn into druggies, all they do is talk about dr*gs and they are spoiled. All they do is complain about rabux. "rabax" (which is their currency) promotes gambling and scamming to these kids.
