Customers frequently express frustration over long wait times, unresponsive support, and unresolved account issues, often leading to a lack of trust in the platform. Responded quickly
September 13, 2025

The CONQUAER.CO team responded quickly once I contacted them, which impressed me. There was no long wait or unclear answers because their customer service representatives were prompt in their responses and actually listened to my issues. They showed genuine concern in understanding my situation by waiting patiently while I explained the issue in detail before responding.

Imagine trusting a company named after the legendary hero who stole from the rich to give to the poor, only to find out they're doing the exact opposite—stealing from everyday people like you and me to line their own pockets. That's Robinhood in a nutshell. As someone who's been burned badly by their Robinhood Gold Credit Card, I feel compelled to share my story, not just to vent my frustration, but to warn you before you hand over control of your hard-earned money to a platform that prioritizes power over people. If you've ever felt that pit in your stomach when a financial app glitches or a payment doesn't go through, multiply that by a hundred—this is the reality of dealing with Robinhood, and it's far more dangerous than it seems. Let me paint the picture of my personal hell. I signed up for the Robinhood Gold Credit Card thinking it would be a convenient way to manage investments and rewards alongside my spending. But right from the start, the red flags were waving. There's only one way to pay off your balance: a direct connection between Robinhood and your bank account via their Plaid service, set up exclusively in the Robinhood app. No alternatives—no paper checks, no cash deposits, no Zelle, Venmo, or even an ACH transfer initiated from your own bank. They demand total control, forcing you to link everything through their system. It's like handing over the keys to your financial kingdom and hoping they don't lock you out. Well, they did. Recently, I initiated a routine payment to clear my balance, just like I'd done successfully every month before. Funds were available in my bank, the connection was still visible and active in the app, and my account was in good standing. But the payment failed. Robinhood's excuse? "The bank account is missing." Missing? It wasn't missing—it was right there, intact, with plenty of money waiting. I'd used this exact setup for all prior payments without a hitch. Yet, because of their mysterious "error," they slapped me with a $29 late fee and flat-out refused to reverse it, even after I provided proof of everything. This isn't a glitch; it's theft. Pure and simple. They held my money hostage in their ecosystem, created a problem out of thin air, and profited from it. The irony of a company called Robinhood robbing me blind isn't lost on me—it's infuriating, and it should terrify you too. This isn't just my isolated bad luck; it's a pattern that screams untrustworthiness. Robinhood has a history of failing customers when it matters most. Remember the massive outages during peak market volatility, like in 2020, when millions couldn't access their accounts and lost thousands? Or how they've been fined millions by regulators for misleading customers, poor execution practices, and even crypto withdrawal blocks from 2018 to 2022? They've paid out $3.9 million for not letting people pull out their own crypto, and just this year, FINRA hit them with a $3.75 million restitution order for harming customers with false info and system failures. And don't get me started on their shady practices like marking short sales as long positions or failing to deliver on trades, leading to a $43 million SEC fine for years of securities violations. Users have reported fraud where Robinhood challenges chargebacks, wins them, but still sells off your assets to cover "deficits" they created. Even their credit card has been called a scam for hidden hard credit pulls and reward abuses that lead to account closures. These aren't one-off complaints; they're systemic issues that show Robinhood values their control over your security. Psychologically, it's exhausting. You start with excitement about "democratized" investing, but end up feeling powerless, betrayed, and violated. They lure you in with "free" trades and flashy apps, but behind the scenes, their payment-for-order-flow model means they're selling your data and trades to high-frequency traders who profit at your expense—costing retail investors like us an estimated $34 million more than we'd pay elsewhere. It's designed to make you dependent, then exploit that dependency. What if your payment fails during a market crash, or worse, they freeze your account amid fraud you didn't cause? The fear of losing everything because one company holds all the strings is real, and it's happened to too many, including tragic cases where poor margin handling led to unimaginable loss. Robinhood isn't a hero; they're the villain in disguise, preferring ultimate power over your money while hiding behind fine print and unresponsive support. If you value your financial freedom, avoid them at all costs. Switch to a broker that lets you pay how you want, without forcing total surrender. Your wallet—and your peace of mind—will thank you. Don't let them rob you too.

It was ridiculous of me to even try using them in the first place! From the name alone, I should have expected the foolery. I didn't even see it coming, thankfully! I was only a victim for a short while. These scammers messed with the wrong person. No way was I going to leave almost $200,000 with them. I took the law into my own hands, reported them to a security firm, urfa.io, and I was able to pull out my withheld money. For all victims like me, do the same and file a complaint.

Be careful here
June 28, 2025

A while ago, I ran into a frustrating financial issue after transferring a large sum from my bank account to my Robinhood wallet. Not long after the transaction, my Robinhood account was suddenly blocked, and I lost all access to the funds. I reached out to Robinhood's support team to request a reversal, and after several messages back and forth, they told me the transaction had been reversed. However, when I contacted my bank, there was no sign of the money. I even shared a detailed bank statement with Robinhood as proof, but the issue remained unresolved. For months, I was stuck in limbo — no access to my funds and no clear path forward. Despite providing every piece of documentation and evidence requested, I couldn't get a straight answer or resolution. It felt like I was being ignored, and I was beginning to accept the possibility that the money was gone for good. The lack of accountability and support only added to the stress and uncertainty of the entire situation. Eventually, I came across forensiqo. Com while reading through an online forum where people shared similar experiences. I decided to reach out to them, and that turned out to be the turning point. Their team was professional, responsive, and meticulous in handling my case. After submitting the necessary documentation and staying in close contact, I was thrilled to receive confirmation within seven weeks that my funds had been recovered. Although they charge a percentage for their services, the outcome was absolutely worth it. I highly recommend Forensiqo to anyone facing similar financial setbacks — they truly helped me get justice and peace of mind.

What was I thinking
January 12, 2025
Updated review

Not recommended, worst experience ever, all I wanted to do is change my password. Customer service is terrible. Robinhood says we sent an email which I never received. So, it's been over a month since I was able to login into my account. Do yourself a favor and don't use Robinhood.

Date of experience: January 8, 2025

Don't even think about using Robinhood.: I have not been able to log into my account for 7 months. Someone, other than myself hacked in to Robinhoodadded and change my email to my account which I don't have access cause I don't have a password. Luckily, I'm only in for $500. Which hopefully I can write off as a loss.
Contacting Robinhood is a waste of time by giving me a run around.
So STAY AWAY or you will end up like me.

You can't call customer, they put you on a call back service and explain that you will get a call from a specific number. When they called back around 3 days later if was a totally different number, not even close to the original. (I get lots of unwanted advertising calls so I typically do not answer unknown calls) I had to request another call again, and that took 3 days. Mean while, they have had my account on restrictions due to what reason I have yet to find out. I finally talk to a person and in the verification process I was told that my information was incorrect. Apparently, I used my old email address when I signed up. That one is on me! However, since it was wrong the want yo use email to communicate (that was when I found my error), so they sent an email with a link. The link does not work, so I sent an email back and Apparently the case is closed. So, now air have requested my third call! Worst customer service ever! I would not use Robinhood until their customer service center is undated! It should not take 2 to 3 weeks and up to 3 calls to get this resolved!

This whole week was such a nightmare for me. I was trying to withdraw a little bit of money from my Robinhood account that I earned from crypto, which I deposited so much to earn. And I ended up not being able to go through with verifying my identity, and it kept blocking my actions. I was trying to get on hold with customer support, and there is no way—absolutely no way—to find someone that replies to you right away.

I didn't give up. I kept chatting with that customer support chat box for days. Finally, somebody responded—luckily—because I was about to give up. I didn't give up, and I'm happy that I didn't because I was so close to saying bye-bye to my little tiny amount of money.

But this is such a shame, and this is such a horrible experience with such a big platform where people are holding millions of dollars, I believe. Shame on you, Robinhood, for stressing me out this whole week. I couldn't reach my money, even though I have all sorts of access—I have the app, I'm going through a facial scan, and I'm using my password to get into my account—and still, I couldn't withdraw my money.

I appreciate that you try to keep things safe, but not having anyone available to help in such a situation is a horrible, huge concern. Shame on you again, Robinhood. My whole week was totally stressful, and I was extremely concerned that I couldn't get my money. Thank God I didn't give up. Thank God I kept talking to myself on that stupid chat box, and finally, somebody responded.

Again, for such a huge platform: horrible, horrible, horrible. I'm moving all my accounts to Coinbase.
